County clerks just handing out houses to criminals.

  • @joeanderson8839

There should be people held accountable.

  • @Effervescent_Smegma

The easiest way to fix this is for people to start trying to claim the deed on the governors & other lawmakers property. 😂

If a bank loans money to a scammer that should be on them....The real homeowner shouldnt be held liable...................

  • @user-ln7of9gs4s

Fingerprints need to be mandatory for every one of these transactions! Maybe even facial photo.

  • @lnaye8343

Now this is ridiculous. These states need to be held accountable.

  • @donnam5060

They shouldn't accept paperwork transferring ownership of property without an ID and full fingerprints, just in case it's a fake ID. Paperwork should also have to be notarized in person at the clerks office or a designated notary such as at the courthouse, dmv, or tax collector. Private notary who isn't through a county or state agency not good enough for a property transfer. Put tighter criteria on the transfer requirements....

Georgia is a mess. Georgia is going really easy on criminals. I hope Georgia could revamp their laws to safeguard homeowners.

  • @9liveslisa

They need to put a stop to that.

  • @amestoy1418

The the scammer, bank, the real estate brokers/agent and the county are the ones responsible and should be investigated. My opinion here is there is a conivance and an inside job involved.

  • @chocolatecaramel4447

They should change the law to a judicial foreclosure. This would stop all of this. They'd have to dot their i's and cross their t's with that kind of foreclosure.

Don’t Buy a home in Georgia until they change the laws for identification and fingerprints this way the Realtor Association will get involved to help

So many ppl scamming ppl up there in Georgia stuff like this happens all the time even if your looking to rent a home as well they will scam you with fake paperwork and lease agreements to sign and tell u to meet them at a place that actually isnt theres and once they get you they just dissappear

Praying Mr. Clark gets his home back.

  • @ursulabklyn_mia6148

That is pure evil and really scary. I hope Georgia gets its act together and help its citizens. In Florida bank foreclosures end up in court. It happened to my friend. She was trying to short sale her house and beat the bank foreclosure court appointment in 2009. There is a lot of paper work involved and prove of ownership. Also with the court you get many chances to save your home.

Alot of scammers in that state.

  • @d.c.3220

This is common in many states, not just Georgia. Anyone can walk into a county clerk recorders office and file anything they want on a property without any ID or justification. The system is broken and thieves know it.

  • @FaithfullyAri_

That’s disgusting, guess I won’t be buying a home in ATL after all.

  • @redwolfcanisrufus

Note to self, never move to Georgia
