I’m so glad I’m not the only one interlocking every month.. people always say they try to go as long as possible without interlocking to avoid damage and thinning but interlocking monthly has just been the best option for me! I also wash weekly too because of itchy scalp hopefully mines goes away like yours God willing 🙏🏾
yes! I remember saying at some point I was trying to go 6 months without interlocking... hahaha lol. Never!!
Lipstick is indeed fabulous. Very pretty on you.
Yeaaa your back!!!! Your locs have Grown! Do some videos of you putting on makeup etc. Just a idea. Again welcome back Queen.
Great idea!!
The speed with which I clicked on this video.... Yaaas we ALWAYS ask about that lippie. You know us well LOL. Good to see you back in these UA-cam streets.
SHE iS BACK!
Your locs have been flourishing beautifully.
Wow. I just checked on your channel and you’re back! The lovely lady with the gorgeous smile and locs!
I’ve been interlocking my daughters locs every month. I’ll be able to do 1 or 2 rotation to. But she is SO tender headed!
haha! you can tell her "when I was your age..." 🤣🤣 young locked kids will never know the struggle of sitting in a chair for 8 hours having someone pull all your strands in the name of braids 🥺
You’re so beautiful! 😍😍😍
Okay, this video has inspired me to try interlocking because I’m so tired of the loose strands and my retwist not lasting do to having a more loose, wavy texture in the center of my head. I’m over it. And as a loose natural I had to wash once a week and I want to go back to that.
YES. I did a retwist once upon a time only for it to unravel after I washed it.. I was very salty after lol
Braidlocs!!!! Welcome back!!!
Welcome back🤗🤗🤗🤗 Your locs are beautiful😄😄😄😄😄
I def don’t regret shaving my sides. I found myself bored as my hair was getting longer. Def do it!
👀
Love the Garnier conditioner!!! Glad you're back!
Q and A session questions 1) Has your hair thinned out from interlocking and 2) Have you found that the longer your hair has grown the less you style it?
thank you!!
I interlock and dont experience thinning. I do it every 6 months so mine are growing out soild or super strong. I keep it clean so it doesn't feel hard.
You and your locs are absolutely beautiful!❤️❤️❤️
Been a while , welcome back x
Hey girl love your hair ❤️❤️ always an inspiration!
Locs looking beautiful as ever!
Oh my god! I am commenting so much! I cut my back two rows off as well for the EXACT same reason, they stayed short and crumbled looking and added nothing visually! I get the undercut faded at the barber and have gotten the edges cleaned up as well, but beware. Barbers may try to cut off too much and your locs will migrate.
I tell ya, that back row of locs is something else.. I agree, I have been doing my own clean up by myself and have actually thinned out some locs because I went too close, but I am starting to learn how to keep a buffer and still have the undercut!
🥵What color is your locs? Did you bleach it ?!
This subject is always a buzz 🐝 on the yt some say too much interlocked will damage the locs I think it depends the technique I interlock my braidlocs every 5 weeks for almost two years now without damage I also shampoo every 7 to 14 days I can’t wait months I don’t know how some people with locs do that
yes! I cannot go longer than 7 days to be honest. Monthly interlocking is the best.
OMGGGGG
💜
That smile 😊
I interlock just about 4-6 weekly. I have kind of a busy life and I think 6 is too much but I do what I can. I’ve been doing microbraidlocs for 11yrs
Yes! I think frequent interlocking needs to be talked about more. Stretching the time between interlocking is not that good for the hair actually.
Haha the stone viper! So tight it won’t move. I know that pain
The only time I ever had this happen to me was... when I went to a "professional". Never again!! My head hurt for 5 days straight before it finally grew a little and I could even wiggle the hair.
Do you interlock while your hair is dry or do you moist it first?
if I do it after washing, I wait until it's like 80% dry. If it's not on wash day, I spritz some water at the roots before I interlock. So, it's never done on dry hair.
So beautiful
Can we have the secret of your gorgeous teeth? 😍
I give thanks to the ancestors every day 🙏🏾
Hey now!!!
Heyyyyy
