The music used for the end credits can elevate your movie experience tenfold. Oblivion was already a fantastic movie but when this song came on during the credits, it became a 10/10 epic for me.

@@CRF250R1521 Edge also great, and yes together with a movie a banging tune can really hit the sweet spot. Oblivion doesn't get enough respect... brought to our knees by a vastly superior monster. Great ending. Cruise near his best. We could probably do with that scenario right about now.

It's M83 - featuring Susanne Sundfør - it's really important to say that. She makes the song what it is; one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever recorded on planet Earth.
For me its the instrumentals, she definitely improves the song and adds lovely vocals to it. But it's a great collaboration

Saw it for the first time earlier this year, after having heard this masterpiece of a song for years. I thought it was pretty excellent overall, slightly undeveloped characters and not the most original plot I’ve seen, but the way it was executed was nothing short of fantastic!
A terribly underrated film. From the story, acting, production values and soundtrack; a thoroughly watchable and enjoyable film.

This song was my first exposure to M83. I've been hooked ever since. Incredible piece. My favorite part is the piano ending staring at 4:39 ... how hauntingly beautiful this piece is.

This song reminds me so much of Interstellar, I can imagine Murphy in this song, seeing her dad become her ghost, and after this, just staying, waiting for him to come back to her. "Since i was young, I knew i'll find you" I don't know, but it works to me.

I'm happy that Susanne collaborated with M83 and that they wanted her for the vocals. I really wish that there will be many more songs like this for the future :-) I really like it a lot when high quality electronic music is combined with a strong female voice, as is the case for this song. Luckily we are blessed that some artists really know how to make good music. ;-) If you want to hear another song by her, there are many ones to recommend, I really like "Running to the sea", which is produced by a Norwegian electronic band called Röyksopp and where Susanne has the vocals:

I would love to run through the world of Oblivion in a VR game.
It might sound odd or wierd but the piano solo at the end gave a deja vu moment. I have an older cousin who was something of a prodigy piano player when he has about 10 years old and I remember my self look up to him when I was about 5. When he was told to play something freestyle he was playing a piece very close to this piano solo. It feels like I am a little kid again and I hear him play this. He is now a midaged family man and he only plays his music for himself and his own family. I think he should have shared his talent with the world but he is too much of an introvert to do so.
