Im in Ghana and i have the same problem with my Cherovlet criuze 2016. It stops accelerating in the middle of a drive and its very dangerous. We hv to so start the car severally before it picks up again. Did you find out what the problem was?

@@yslchato4896 i changed my negative battery cable and Oxygen sensor and it worked fine now

before you do any thing try to diagnose the car see if you have codes
@@BestCarFixes the only code it had was the ambient air temperature sensor and the mechanic buy it but the car keep turning off ,
Check battery terminals
I replaced the negative battery cable and the car was better right away. Voltage still goes from 14.4 to 13.3
