salut,
is this a best buy in 250cc to ride all over bali,
or are there other better ones?
For a little adventure motorcycle it is very nice, you have also the Kawasaki Versys 250 more powerful and water-cooled
Hi, I just finished watching your videos on the Maverick 500 and since you've also done this review on the VStrom 250 I wanted to ask your opinion on these bikes.
I'm a retiree who's relocated to the Philippines and was choosing between these two bikes (the Maverick is sold here as the Bristol 500). My intended use would be as a daily commuter including during peak traffic hours (I imagine Indonesian traffic can be as bad as Philippine traffic so you can gauge how tight traffic conditions could be), and then on weekends as a getaway bike to go to vacation spots which would entail long highway rides (like ~200+ kms highway) followed by some short unpaved/dirt roads (~5 kms or so) to get to the destination. I don't intend to do any off-road or trail riding, no "adventure" or enduro type rides, any short rough roads would be just because I need to travel through them to get to the destination. Given these intended uses, which bike would you recommend between the two?
If it matters, my riding experience is around 15 years of purely road/sport riding both as a daily commuter and weekend track days. This was all during my youth so I've long since lost the drive for sport riding and am looking for something more "friendly" to my lower back, lol.
Thanks!
(edit: if it matters, I'm 6 ft. and around 195 lbs, so the weights/seat heights of either of these bikes are ok for me; did some short parking lot test rides on them both, but can only do a long "test" ride if I buy the bikes, lol)
For your body size I'm quite the same, I'm 5'11, I would recommend the Bristol 500, as this bike is way superior compared to the small Vstrom 250cc, the extra power, Torque, will make it more comfortable for commuting
@@Buledoyanmotor Thanks for the reply. I was leaning towards the Maverick/Bristol as well, but tight traffic use was my only real worry. Does the Bristol do ok for you in tight rush hour traffic?
@xenoaltrax485 it's water cooled, so no problem, it's big so people tend to be impressed and let you go, and bonus you can jump pavement with it
@@Buledoyanmotor Ok, thanks for the recommendation man, really appreciate it.
salam kenal bang,salam persahabatan.
saya dari pulau sulawesi bang, kapan nih jalan jalan ke sulawesi
Haha kapan-kapan ya ? Salam kenal
Hlo bro.... Where are you from..
France
Mantap, good bike
