    Thank you so much for this! I gave my boyfriend an epoxy ring and wanted to give him the option to wear it as a necklace. But the ring is super light so I definitely need to soften the cord I bought to make it hang nice and feel comfortable.
    And for what it’s worth, your videos are great. You’re extremely personable and helpful. Keep it up!

    Thanks, nice to know this can be done without steaming the leather. I made a bracelet with my own woodturned beads strung on 3mm leather cord with leather barrel knots in between my woodturned beads, but the leather was too stiff as a bracelet so I pulled it apart, undid the barrel knots which retained some of their kink. I will try your method to unkink the leather so I can make a choker with it. Seems a lot of people are copying each others videos on youtube. You sound more American than Italian! PS - the tool you call a 'clamp' is actually called a 'vice'.

I never used them because they were "distorted" and did not look right when being worn. Your information in this video was wonderful and I was able to use them for my projects. Game changer!

    • @thecreativeitalian7611
      @thecreativeitalian7611  Рік тому +1

      Gloria, I cannot say for sure if it will prevent cracking when braiding, it will depend on the leather. My guess is, as long as the leather is not super dried out, you should be good. If it is dry, there are leather conditioners to address that. Do let me go how it goes after braiding.😊
