You're a wonderful inspiration for me. I know you suffer from an inflammatory skin condition. I suffer from chronic pain syndrome and fibromyalgia. Through it all, you persevere. You keep going. You're a very strong and determined woman. I am retired early from pain issues, but I keep working at home designing with my hands. Ready to create my website to sell all I've made in 3 years. I started watching you in 2020. Bad time for us all. I love you as a great designer who taught me leather designs. You've made us laugh when we should be crying😅 thank you.
Well now I'm going to have two favorite necklaces, the first being the Cat's Paw and now this one. I'll order it today. And flip a coin when I'm getting dressed to see which to wear. Best regards.
I jusy love how elegant this necklace is, you could wear this was a dress or a pair of jeans and t-shirt. It is pretty easy to make,my barrel knots are improving. Keep your great Canadian humour just love it. You guys ROCK. ❤❤❤❤ Kirsten Durdle Thanks for my orders, fast service
Thank you. I’m disabled and have a strong desire to continue on with my existence. I love art work and writing but jewelry has been a passion for many years. All of my equipment was stolen all those years ago so that ended that. Now the journey into the wonderful world of jewelry making is burning strong in me again. I’m 71 but not mentally ( second childhood) Lol I’ve started collecting my tools again and have the upper hand on that. Yay. I’m addicted to the calm and gentile way you explain your techniques and the detail , between visual and oral, makes it very clear. I’m absorbing all I can. I have started dabbling in a few pieces and a friend printed cards for me. It’s coming together so fast. I am so excited. My money is extremely limited, another reason I’m going into jewelry making, but I feel very strongly that this is meant to be. Your style of teaching keeps me calm and I feel gives me a fighting chance at success. If not, my family and friends will have some really cool pieces. Lol Thanks again. I love the live, unedited version of you. It’s you. Be safe. Fondly, Donna ❤
Thank you for another inspiring tut Kellie I love tge sliding and of course that barrel knots become one of my favorites 🤣 had a little scare this morning when I went to make a pair of barrel knot earrings and I couldn't find my barrel knot tube....of course it was someplace other than where I normally keep them that'll teach me to put them in the right place 🤪
Congratulations on your new glasses! I hope you do get used to them very easily, and really soon! In othe news...thanks to your tutelage, i have finally even gotten the barrel knot!!! Thank you!
Best videos to watch with morning coffee! I’m living at the Grand Canyon and the canyon is definitely going to inspire my own take on this necklace. Thanks for the inspiration, Kellie!
I use a bugle bead to line a large holed bead instead of that tubing. Great thing to do with a bugle that's chipped or damaged. It's hidden inside the bead so doesn't need to be perfect.
Hey Kellie! Yes, I am a barrel knot nut - all thanks to you! (and what is this thing you speak of; "Google"? hehe!) And yay, no editing - must be sooo freeing!
Hey ….. can make a leather bracelet with barrel knots for a guy? I have some teal turquoise beads that I made myself. I called them barrel Beads. They’re very organic looking. But I want to make something for my dad ASAP and send it for Father’s Day so it might be kind of late. But I’d like to see your take on a man’s leather bracelet. Now I used one of your Celtic designs and made a man’s leather bracelet, and The way I finished it off in the back I actually took the 2mm leather. I tied all 4 strands into a tight knot, then I took two strands on the other side cut them lower and left the too long, then I looped it, and, I tied it down with the barrel knot are used glue and the loop locked into the barrel knot and it turned out gorgeous. I sold about 10 of them to men. I hope that made since… 🤗, Autumn Michelle ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Dear Kellie, thank you very much for the helpful information. and if you haven't had time yet - one meter = 100cm = 39.37 inches. Best regards 😊

Wow!! Sliding Knotts. Going to try this today. Kellie If I wanted to send you something where would I send it? Lorena
Hey Kellie! Yes, I am a barrel knot nut - all thanks to you!
(and what is this thing you speak of; "Google"? hehe!)
And yay, no editing - must be sooo freeing!
Fantastic! I’m glad you like them. Google. It’s an elusive thing for some people. 🤣🤣🤣
I’m loving editing less. Saves me so much time.
how do get your leather cording to "relax" and be "soft"? - ours just is all wonky all the time!
Well, it depends on the quality of the leather. Mine is top notch. Also intend to play with my leather a bit which makes it more supple.
Kelli, I’m looking for that tubing on Amazon, is the 2mm an inside diameter or outside diameter?
I’m not sure. I sell it so maybe support me before going to Amazon?
You can use a size 2 seed bead.
