Awesome video. I just purchased a short bed truck, and trying to figure out how to properly strap stuff down. Getting tired of the hassle that is searching for an associate to cut lumber at the hardware stores.
Nice flashy thing..We have a 2003 Chevy S10 Crew Cab ..Great truck but the box is 4'8" deep...6' or so with the tailgate down...so We use the hitch extender that looks like football goal posts on a arm made of 2 inch square tubing stuck in the hitch receiver..I will add the light ..good idea...
Yep I have that bed extender too I do love it. Mainly use it for 16’ stuff. The light flag is a pretty awesome little gadget and if it saves a life and prevents someone from rear ending me, I’m all in.
Not necessarily true. Tundra can be had in 6.5 and 8 foot beds. Also that truck is made with more American made parts than any other full sized truck so think again

Very nice video and great tips about loading the wood at the highest point in tying it down
Dude, where did you get that light? I can’t find it.
Where did you get that light at?

That light is very cool, I've never seen it. How is the gutter mesh holding up on the bed extender? Any rust, screws coming out, etc?
Finally, a guy that shows how they actually tie stuff down. All the other videos dont..
I think that is called the Loadgator. It is cool but not cheap.
Did you get rid of the softopper? Ifo so, why?
No. It’s just removed and stored away until I need it again. Keeping it pretty. FL is brutal on everything.
Thanks - good video but buy American and you get a longer bed
