Just finished watching all 10 episodes of the War Games 10 minutes ago with this very scene. At the end at the start of the cast, Jon Pertwee is not mentioned because he had not been hired at that time. When the abridged colour version we will see Patrick change into Jon using the same regeneration power from Eccleston to the bi regeneration towards the end of the giggle.
I see in various videos, the BBC are getting noticeably lazy with the regeneration sequence - using the same technique for the last half a dozen or so changes. When the current doctor goes (hopefully before too long) and they continue ignoring the maximum number of regenerations they can do, let's have his collapsing on the ground or the TARDIS floor and changing.
I appear to be the only person who thinks not only does The War Games suck, but its also one of the worst 60s stories. Give me The Dominators and G4 anyday. At least they know when to stop.
