They also wrote their own patriotic song "Land of the free" Their list of wonderful songs is huge. I have not heard one song from these guys that I did not love.

Yea! Lee and the ORB's still got it! Adam's beat boxing is impeccable. So easy to forget its not real drums in the song. That last bit in God Bless the USA where he kicks it up a notch with the "snare drum" gets me in the feels every time. With the holidays approaching, you should give a listen to their renditions of "O Holy Night" and "Do You Here What I Here". Adam did the arrangement on it and its my favorite version of this holiday classic.

by the way, WELCOME to the family fellow Home Fry. Some more suggestions : (covers) another collab....American Pie with Don McLean who wrote and sang the 1971 iconic classic (the song of my generation), as you saw The Gambler (as a tribute to their friend & mentor) the late Kenny Rogers...and their collab with Kenny which is a Christmas time song (we even sang in church) Children, go where I send thee), and another Christmas one, a 2nd collab with the Oak Ridge Boys, Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, which The Judds had a hot with and last but not least.....Christmas in Dixie with Alabama, yes THAT Alabama !!!

Austin had that t-shirt the Oaks signed framed & he's got it hanging at home! 😉 I was just listening today to a radio broadcast of Home Free at the Grand Ol' Opry. During their performance, the Oakridge Boys came out and surprised the audience. They sang "Elvira" together, of course! The audience went bonkers. lol
    😁🎶💕👍
Did you catch Adam doing the Air Force flyover at the end of "God Bless the USA"? The military snares and the flyover were great!
Since you're new to our guys, you wouldn't catch on, so I'll give you a trivia tidbit that'll show how seriously Home Free is about arrangements & putting in those little things that really make a song and/or video special. Attention to detail!
In the 1st song, when they start singing the part "From the lakes of Minnesota", Rob sang it because he's from Minn! The blonde woman sang "to the hills of Tennessee" - you guessed it, she's a friend of Tim's from TN. "Across the plains of Texas" is where Tim hails from... Chance followed with "from sea to shining sea". He was born & raised in Florida & Alabama, but now lives in L.A., California. Pretty cool, huh? 😍👍
Dang it, I love these guys! 💕🎶💕

Their harmonies are great, the beatboxer Adam is called "The Human Drumkit" for a reason, The bass Tim can go lower than low, they each can sing lead in a song. They are just so good! I guess you've already been requested to do "Man Of Constant Sorrow" from someone, 2 or 4, if not- I'm requesting.

Absolutely loved your reaction to these 2 great songs. Yes you got the best version they done of GOD BLESS THE USA. This song was recorded during Quarantine and everyone record their parts at all the different cities shown at the beginning of the video and edited together in the video you seen. Home Free did another collaboration with The Oak Ridge Boys called BEAUTIFUL STAR OF BETHLEHEM. Some suggestions; Cover of Vince Gill’s - GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN, 50th anniversity cover of Doobie Brothers - LISTEN TO THE MUSIC, cover of John Denver’s - COUNTRY ROADS. Thank you for your service and you have a blessed day.

So you are saying you were a Home Fry before you knew what that was? LOL Great reaction!! They have done "God Bless The USA" before but this is their best. Their previous one (the video is still on their channel) is older and they filmed it at Mt. Rushmore. Still nice but this one was the better with the additional vocals to beef it up. As for Elvira, the Oak Ridge Boys sort of took them under their wing when Home Free first started to make bigger splashes in music. You should take a peek at a live version of Elvira from Home Free...Tim rattles bones in it with his bass notes! Since then, Home Free has decided to do the same for other performers so you will find they have done collabs with other new, up and coming artists to sort of get them out there just as the Oak Ridge Boys did for them. They have also done some amazing collabs with some legends like Kenny Rogers and Don McLain. But for your next one, I think you should see something with their funny side....and since it is Christmas, perhaps you should do "Full of Cheer" Not only is it a great Christmas song and shows their silly side, but it was written by Tim Foust, the bass singer. Or maybe "Cold Hard Cash (for Christmas) where Adam the beatboxer just goes off and is written by Austin Brown, the high tenor. As I have said before, their catalog is vast and there is not a bad one in the bunch so take your pick!

"Children Go Where I Send Thee" with Kenny Rogers
    "Christmas in Dixie" with Alabama
"Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" with Oak Ridge Boys
"Full of Cheer" HF original for Christmas
"Brothers in Arms" Dire Straits cover they made for Veterans Day
"American Pie" with Don McLean. He contacted HF to record the 50th anniversary of his iconic song with him.
"Helplessly Hoping" a Crosby, Stills and Nash cover.
"Champagne Taste on s Beer Budget" HF original just for fun.
Thank you for the joy, blessings always to you and all those you love.

Sorry I'm late! Love your beautiful, heartfelt reaction to God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood singing it like you've never heard him sing it before because Home Free's producer, Darren Rust, told him to sing it like he wanted to instead of how he'd had to sing it for decades! It makes my eyes "leak" every time I watch it! As for Elvira, these guys had a ball together! Both groups respect each other & Home Free is so good to let the other group or person shine when they do collaborations! The first video was actually shot during Covid, that's why they're all in different places recording, but Lee Greenwood & Home Free thought it was very important to help keep America moving forward during that crazy period time. It came out right around the Fourth of July. Another thing you'll find out about our guy's from Home Free, they're so proud to be American's, they love to sing about it, & have even performed at concerts to aid at risk veterans, another reason to be a Home Fry.
The Oakridge Boys & Home Free are good friends, they definitely have mutual respect for each other, in fact HF refers to them as the Oaks. I definitely recommend checking out all the collabs that other Home Fries have suggested above. Thank You for your great reaction, I just subbed so I can go down the Home Free rabbit hole with you. This is absolutely the right video! Done during quarantine. You'll notice the places from which they all recorded.
And Elvira was done when Chris Rupp (cowboy hat) was still with them. He and his brother, Adam (beatboxer) founded HF. He left in 2016, and Adam Chance, called Chance to avoid confusion, entered the scene. Their Christmas stuff, old and new, is excellent, also.

This is a great collaboration between Home Free & The Oakridge Boys. "Elvira" was a huge hit for The Oakridge Boys in 1981. You can see the great respect these 2 groups have for each other. The Oakridge Boys are mentors to Home Free & it is like they are passing the baton to a younger version of themselves. They have performed together on the Grand Ole Opry. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is the best in the business. He can simulate drums & any other sounds perfectly. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group. They are so talented yet very humble guys

What a wonderful collaboration with Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force band. One by one such beautiful voices which match so well with the voices of Home Free. The fact that Lee Greenwood remains the center of attention I think shows a lot of respect for this great singer. But Adam Rupp tops it off with his incredible beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds. He is inhuman.❤️
And "Elvira" is the young version of The Oak Ridge boys and the old version of Home Free😉

Home Free does a lot of collaborations with the original artists. What I have noticed is that, possibly to Home Free's absolute excellence, the original artists just pull out all the stops. It is also my understanding, from listening to some of these collaborators, that the Home Free guys are just a blast to work with.
I was in the US Navy, stationed aboard the USS Carl Vinson. I believe that my first Westpac cruise was in 1984, and we were gone for 8 months. I remember coming home, manning the rails in my dress whites, coming under the Golden Gate bridge with Le Greenwood and "God Bless the USA" Blasting out over the 1MC (Shipwide PA system). I will always remember how I felt at that moment.

Like others already said, they did "American Pie" with Don McLean. And with the christmas season: "Children go where I send thee" with Kenny Rogers and "Christmas in Dixie" with Alabama

SO glorious! Very cool how they got this done despite the pandemic! ❣️🎼🥰🎶♥️
Adam doing the flyover ✈️ sounds at the end always gives me an extra dose of goosebumps 🥰
This version of Elvira really gives me the sense of "Oak Ridge Boys Past" meeting "Home Free fellas future".
The ORB' bass, Richard Sterban, sang bass for Elvis Presley early in his career. Home Free definitely collaborated with true country legends on this song--and I LOVE this collaboration❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Yup, wow pretty much covers it. So much talent in those 2 videos. There's a video of HF and the Oak Ridge Boys doing Elvira at the Opry. Sorry I don't have the link. And I think there's a Christmas video, too. They also did The Devil Goes Down to Georgia with Charlie Daniels, but the video is audio only (if that makes any sense). Home Free party! All day, every day. Kind of jealous that you have so many things to see for the first time. Happy listening.

Lee Greenwood said that this was the first time he was able to sing this song the way he wanted to because there were enough people to carry the melody. Like I said, Home Free works magic with their collaborators, putting them center stage with heaven in the background.
They saved us Home Fries by dropping new music during the lockdown. God bless 'em.

They also have a video when they went to Jeff Cook's (Alabama) recording studio. They have videos with Don McLean, Alabama, Oakridge Boys, Kenny Rogers and more. Traveling Soldier is another one that is really great. And you gotta do Sea Shanty Medley and for a laugh, Butts Remix.

Thanks for sharing. We showed you the rabbit hole. You jumped right in your own self. Welcome. The guys of Home Free are patriotic and both caring and kind. They have songs dealing with bullying, they've highlighted animal adoption. so many more good things I can't even start to list. Not one of these people is stuck up, and they give a lot more than they take. They've also sung with Kenny Rogers and Alabama, to name two. For the most part, the "stars" ask them to perform. They often take new acts under their wings, touring or recording with them. And the kicker for me: they value their fans.

To see the funny side of this group, look for "The Butts Remix", "All About That Bass", and a collaboration with yet another Acapella group, Voiceplay "Zombies vs. Hillbillies - Survivor". For a current day video about unity, look for "Everybody Walking This Land". From the first down beat, you will be amazed. I love to see you enjoy them as much as we do and look forward to seeing more.
