Every country's past and flag is stained with blood. People tend to forget what a relatively young country we still are and how far we've cone in a few hundred years compared to the thousands of years other countries have had. We have every right to feel proud of our country warts and all.
There isn't a country in history that doesn't have blood stains. Fortunately for ours, we have always strived for freedoms no other country has ever had
Happy Independence Day/Month/Year, etc. I am second generation American/ Hispanic/Texan. I Love my Country - USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 God Bless Us All, Thank you to ALL who have served to allows us to be here today.
I am a veteran from a family of veterans. My family members and comrades died to give this freedom. Never close your eyes and take your freedom for granted. If anyone who runs for a political seat hasn't served for our country don't really know.
I was driving down the street today and saw the street was lined with flags. It’s not even Fourth of July, just a random Summer day. I started singing the National Anthem in my head and started tearing up a little. I don’t know why we love our country so darn much. Democrats and Republicans. We all know we’ve had dark times. I go on vacation to countries in Europe and Africa. I love those countries, had the time of my life. But I swear to God when the plane landed in USA I felt like kissing the ground. I wouldn’t live anywhere else. And maybe every country feels this way, I don’t know. They should. We shouldn’t make the perfect the enemy of the good. What I don’t understand is why some people outside our country care that we are so patriotic. They should be glad it’s our flag still flying and not some dictator’s flag. Or just mind their own business and let us love our country and they can love their own.
There is a new version of this with Lee greenwood and the us air force band, personally like that one better. It gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. They also have a great original song, Land of the Free. It is another great 4th of July song, worth a view it is vary patriotic. The Homefree fans (Homefries) with jump allover you to watch the other version, just a heads up lol
You Will Love their newer version done with LEE GREENWOOD & the USAG SINGING SERGEANTS …. done during Covid… &, they all were all over … DC, LA, Nashville, &, Minnesota … pretty AWESOME 🇺🇸🇺🇸💥🇺🇸🇺🇸 Also, Tim wrote one you’ll love…”LAND OF THE FREE” 🇺🇸❣️🇺🇸‼️
I don't care which version of this song I hear, I feel the same way you do about it. I feel the goosebumps.I feel the pride.I feel the tears. God Bless America
I can tell you this, you haven't lost this subscriber! I will proudly shout it from the rooftops, I'm Proud To Be An AMERICAN!!! God Bless the USA! There is a saying I love, "those who forget history are bound to repeat it." Like you said, I'm not proud of everything this Nation has done, but if I look at my own life, there are things I've done that I'm not proud of. But those things built me into the person I am today. Likewise the wrongs this country has done have shaped and molded us into the Greatest Nation in the world today.
Home Free did another version of this with the songwriter Lee Greenwood and the US Air Force Singing Sergeants. It’s really good. Adam is crazy good with his drum sounds. I’ve been to Mt. Rushmore and it’s stunning. My Country Tis of Thee, Brothers in Arms, Land of the Free (original).
I'm Canadian and would add that we too, have the same freedoms and opportunities for dreams to become a reality. No country's past is perfect and I'm a proud Canadian who also appreciates patriotic Americans. I love this song and Home Free has more! I think you'll gain more subscribers (at least Home Fries) based on your reaction; at least I hope so. Although you've heard their first version of this beautiful song, now you REALLY need to react to their newer version done during Covid lockdown, with Lee Greenwood and the USAF Singing Sergeants; it's even better! Other great patriotic songs by Home Free include: Land of Free (original), Only In America, My Country Tis of Thee; and other songs that speak of their desire for unity would be: We Just Disagree, Brothers in Arms, Everybody Walkin' This Land (watch to the very end); and Undivided. Please continue down the rabbit hole, Home Free never disappoints!
Ok, subbing for more Home Free. I love this rabbit hole and am having a great time watching you react to my favorite group. I think most of us want real, whether we agree or not i know i just want real. Keep the Home Free coming!!!
I'm late to the comments and reaction because I just found you. I saw you reacted to Home Free and of course I had to watch because I'm a "Home Fry" and I subscribed to enjoy watching you go down the rabbit hole of Acapella music. I love what you had to say and totally agree! I'm proud to be an American as well and I sincerely hope you don't lose subscribers because of how authentic and genuine you both are. Keep being sincere and yourself and reacting to Home Free, Peter Hollens, Pentatonix, VoicePlay, etc and their collaborations and solo's and we'll keep coming in droves to watch your reactions. I hope you had a great 4th of July!
Everything you said are FACTS!!! You should definitely check out their new version with Lee Greenwood and The USAF Singing Sergents as well as Home Free's original Land of the Free! You will love it. Our family is very military. My grandpa served in WW1 (yes, I'm old), my dad served in the Korean war, my husband served a combined 29 years in USAF and Ks. Air National Guard, one son-in-law served in the army with a tour in Iraq and Afghanistan and our other son-in-law is currently serving in the Ks. Air National Guard. This song ALWAYS makes us teary eyed and gives us chills. We have far more freedoms than people in other countries. We aren't perfect but we've come so far! It drives me crazy when some young people say they hate America. They have no idea the sacrifices that have been made to give them. They the right to say the sh!t they do but that doesn't make it right. Love your channel!!
This is such a beautiful song - you need not be American (I'm Canadian) to appreciate the sentiment and patriotism of it Happy (belated) Independence Day! The more recent version with Home Free, Lee Greenwood and the U.S. Air Force Band is beyond words! I'll keep my opinion of Trump to myself - not being American, it's not my place to comment.
I found this and comment on you reaction. Austin did a great job on this song. The harmonies are great and Home Free is the best. Tim's low bass voice. Adam is great beatboxer. Home Free is my favorite group. The government sucks . USA is my home and I am proud to be an American and i am proud to be a Texan. 😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
Land of the Free--Because of the Brave 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 Adam's drums are unbelievable--and his flyover ✈️ sounds at the end always gives me an extra dose of goosebumps 🥰
When anyone complains about America to me I answer, "Where else in the world can you freely say that? And if its so bad leave, we never lock EXIT doors and we've got millions coming in our southern border than can replace you." Shuts them up really quick.
This IS THE GREATEST Country in the world! That’s why EVERYONE wants to come here! I’ll post it every day & screw the haters!! GOD BLESSED US with America & shame on anyone being blasphemous against Her!! 🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻♥️
Your commentary made me SUBSCRIBE. (That, and y'all reacting to Home Free.) Nearly every country has it's pluses and minuses. But I'm thankful I was born and raised in the US. There's always that hope for improvement.
This always makes me cry every time! I think maybe its because I''m an army Brat, my father was a drill Sergeant and my Grampras were in WW2, my brothers were Air Force and Navy, and My X was in Air Force.
This is literally the theme song for 4th of July. They would play it at every fireworks and rodeo in WY. Coming from a military family, I think this song is more patriotic than the National Anthem.
Props to you for being a free thinker. MORE props for stating your thoughts, and you're co-host noting getting involved, then not speaking cause he was scared.
I absolutely love this song, they're so talented that it's not even funny! Not to tell you what to do or anything, but if you haven't already, you HAVE GOT TO at least give a listen to Home Fee "Butts Medley". Not only does their talent really shine, but (no pun intended) so does their amazing sense of humor. I love your reactions and will be looking for it - you'll have a great time, thanks!
I LOVED this video and your entire discussion about our precious and proud country. It reminded me of Dan Vasc who did a tribute video and sang America's Star Spangled Banner. It was a dynamic version as you would expect from him. He received some negative feedback about it. Then he does an apology video. I think you should react to the song first and then play the apology video. Trust me, you will really be intrigued by the whole thing. Hope to watch you reacting to these soon. God Bless America! 🇱🇷❤💙
New sub here. I'm a major Home fry. This is the very first song I ever heard from them. I can't get enough. Tim and Austin yum. I think you should the Lee Greenwood collaboration. Fantastic.
