Had the opportunity to ride this bike for two days in Germany through Enduro Training. Offroad only. Compared it to my Tenere 700. There are things that you just love at T7, but there are things that are made so much easier on the F900GS. Especially the low centre of gravity which makes this bike very good at slow technical stuff. Although heavier than T7 in feels lighter. I must admit that I love the F900GS. I like how Racing&Adventure do their reviews, especially parrallel test and would love to see how the rest of the bikes stack up (Touareg 660, T7, Triumph, Ducati maybe).
I think it's a mistake to not have the option of top case mounting. Most of us have one bike and this would be amazing for off road but it's no good for the daily commute where you want a secure, weatherproof box for your helmet and gloves or a passenger that wants the security of a back rest. I love this bike but have to look at the Tiger 900 Rally Pro or DDX instead. If I'm paying $27k (Australian) it needs to do more. There's a lot of really good competition out there.
Already aftermarket solutions available. Sure, factory options are nice, but you know when I went through the config, they want $500 for folding clutch and brake levers. Are you sure you want to pay for a factory top case mount from BMW?
Are the Showa suspensions better for road use only? Which ones did you prefer for road? Can the the gold Showa be adjusted to be stiffer, more similar to the stock ones?
Took this for a test ride on Saturday and found it underwhelming to say the least. Ergonomics not great, but I'm 6,2. However, Ducat exhaust, rowdy pipe etc ... I'm sure this would be a lot of fun with some small changes.
@@PatchedBandit it's still too heavy IMO. Picking it up on a leveled floor is all dandy, but try it on a slop or in the middle of a river.. just saying
To be hones i can't believe how these tall bikes aren't considered top heavy. I'm 175cm and since i've ridden the 790 adventure R ( i couldnt flat foot) ANY other bike that i tried after these reviews feels tall and heavy sad enough.. Easiest to lift midweight adv bike on the market.
god im so sick of these youtubers man. heres a brand new bike NOW LETS STAND AROUND IT AND TALK FOR 30 MINUTES INSTEAD OF RIDING IT delete your channel
Wow! What a nice surprise to see Emily show up. Her thoughts on the F900 are of such value. Good to see her for sure.

You are right! I still would recommend to perform a test ride before taking any decision!
Probably won't take too long until there's an after market one.
Make it yourself. Easy to do if your handy

These are cool bikes

It offers a wider range of adjustments and more precision. I have to say the Showa kicks ass. The stock version is not that bad.

2019kg and only 14 liters. And they talk about light weight lol 😂
The DesertX is still a W
Stop interrupting. Smart guy needs to talk only.

Need 4k Man... could have been nicer to watch
Why do you keep interrupting him? You ask a question and then don’t listen to the answer.
300km ahhhh no!
That yellow color scheme is so ugly. Looks like any Ryobi tool.
