Yes I am viewing this video in febuary 1st 2024 my wife bought me a 2008 shadow just like that one I love my I love that bike and it's just a lot of fun granted it is still a smaller bike what does it matter as long as you go out and enjoy the ride by the way I am 66 years old just learning how to ride a bike 3 years ago it's a lot of fun my wife and I 5:53 enjoy
I'd love one of these, as a second bike. Cheap, reliable and cool. To me a cruiser is about being relaxed, doesn't make sense to be a brand snob with it.
It's relevant up until you can finally keep up with any traffic on the freeway. On my 250 I was constantly worried about cars going to fast behind me in my lane, not being able to change lanes because cars were going too fast or matching my top speed and in my way. 750 is just enough to be able to create some distance from cars on the highway
I have been riding for more than 10 years and rode one of these for the first time a couple days ago. It was smooth, plenty of power and pretty agile. It could benefit from extended foot controls (and I’m only 5’11”), straighter handlebars and a windshield👍🏻
Hey what would you recommend for first time Rider that is 6'4"? I sat on one of the Shadow 750 today and it was exactly what you said regarding foot controls and handlebars...
I'm 6'2 at 280lbs. I've got my Shadow up to the max reported speed. I also had a radar test and it came back at 133mph. Test was done on an airport runway (.75 miles long) both times. This bike is just fine. My biggest complaint is that it sits just a bit too low, but I don't care. It's smooth and fun.
Bought mine two months ago and I couldn't be happier. Fast enough for a first bike, amazing milage and feels like all around solid ride. Plus it handeled me (190lbs) and friend (180lbs ) easily.
Thank you. I'm a Christian biker as well and I'm looking for a shadow 750. I've got Cancer and can't do the Harley thing anymore. I'm finishing a full restoration on a 1975 Honda CB 360t. Had one in college and now at the end, it's a bucket list thing. The 360t is beautiful and I've redone every inch myself. It will be my ride around town bike but I needed a weekend bike. two day rides and stuff like that. I thought this would be a good option but I've got to act pretty quick. I'm not doing track riding. 70 mph would be my highway. Stop saying it's a good entry or a woman's bike. I started riding at 15...I'm not a chick. I've rode from Oklahoma to Sturgis 3 time on a junk Harley. Ha. Do a highway review please. I might buy from you folks
Have an 09 shadow spirit. love it! cruises very well and as soon as the wife gets more comfortable with riding(she's learning on an S40) she'll get the shadow and I'll get an 800 or 900. I honestly cant see why you'd want more for a cruiser.
Just bought me a 2002 Honda Shadow ACE 750 cc. Love itttttt. Yes I’m a girl and it’s a Perfect fit for me not to big and not to small. Just right Love All of your Videos Sir
Made a mistake getting a rebel 250 as my first motorcycle. I've been riding dirtbikes for 12 years and have more than enough experience to handle a bigger bike. I still have it and am trying to get rid of it.
I ride a 07 Honda Aero . I am averaging about 5K miles a year. I love this bike. I stay off the super highway because at 70 mph plus the 750 will rattle and vibrate more than I care to put up with. I am a county road and a back roads man. I have to wear a knee brace every day now so I need the forward placed foot rests the Aero has. I had to say goodbye to my FJR sport cruiser because of my knee issue. I upgraded to a mustang seat for comfort plus added a seat foamy as well. Now I can ride for two hours before my now flat ass needs a walk. I added highway bars and clamp on foot rests. Get the bigger highway bar for the Aero because I bought the smaller highway bar and it is a pain in the ass. The bar is directly in line with the gears shifter on the left and the brake on the right side. I cant wear boots but my slip on shoes work ok. I will be buying the bigger highway bars for the Aero this summer because I see no reason for me to buy a bigger bike. The Main thing everybody is stop putting ethanol in your bike. I have a five gallon gas can I keep at home. Ethanol free gas for my lawn mower and the Honda. I refuel and top off when I get home after every ride. My Bike rides without any problems at all because no Ethanol and its a Honda. No worries about gas because I leave home with a full tank every time and best of all I have had to refuel at the pump only three times due to a road trip. I get 54 mpg. No bat wing because I dont like it. It blocks my view of the world. I do have a clear wind shield for the winter. The wind shield does block the cold wind good enough for cold weather but now there is some helmet buffering because of the wind. So I bought the anti-buffering little shield that goes on top of the big windshield. It works. No buffering on my Head. But. Either you sit up as straight as possible and maintain that posture to see over the anti-buffering shield which gets tiresome or get used to looking through it. I took the anti-buffering shield off. I have seen four ads for sale for A Honda Shadow with over 100k Miles and the bike was still running fine. That is useful information. Also I installed a air horn. Got to be heard. The stock horn on any Japanese bike is lame and you should absolutely get rid of it. And lose the ethanol if you havent already. When I was younger we motocross riders would say ride fast and take chances to each other. You cant win a race if you dont. But on the road the cruiser is king and you have all the time to enjoy the ride. Be seen. Be heard. Always be defensive. Wear safety clothes. My accident happened because a county dump truck was leaking hydraulic fluid. Alot. I came around a curve and the front tire slipped right down. Life is good on a Motorcycle But Bad luck happens to some folks. Be prepared to persevere and you will be fine in all your travels.
I'm getting back into riding. Went thru a Triumph Trophy, Norton Commando 850, Triumph Bonnie, Honda GL500 Silverwing,, Honda 1200 Goldwing, Yamaha V-Star 1100,Silverado , Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited.... Now 70 years old and looking at a Honda vt750 AERO or a Triumph America..
Just moved up from a 2001 ace 750 to a vulcan 900. Great times on the shadow...very reliable light and easy to handle. I recommend the shadow for a first bike..smoothe power
I have one of these and I like it although it's not as much fun as my Kawasaki 1500. My pet peeve with it is that it doesn't have a gas gauge which seems odd for a cruiser.
6:18 I have a Honda Shadow ACE VT750. And road it three times on a highway from Albuquerque NM to Arizona there and back. It was a smooth ride! Mostly do 80 to 90 mph. Just cruising not trying to be a speed demon! Cruiser motorcycles are for cruising! Not trying to speed! I wished highway racers would understand that! I don't care to ride at high speeds it's ridiculous!

Just bought a Shadow 750 off my dad, only 400 miles. Honestly, the bike Is just "fine" Its not exciting or special, fun, or cool. But It gets the job done, Its handsome, and Its capable enough.
I dunno if you've done the 2 men on a shadow thing yet, but my dad has a shadow 750 spirit and we've ridden 2up on the highway before and it'll cruise and pass over 90mph no problem with 2 men. Dads 6ft and 211 lbs and I'm 6'2" and 197lbs
Love the videos, I watch almost every one. I feel that you should put a link directly to the bike in the video so the viewer can go straight to that bike if they’re watching the video and loving the bike.
Enjoy, it's a great bike, but you gotta be careful. I tell most inexperienced riders to look for 500 or 600cc so this isn't much bigger, but it's definitely going to be noticeably bigger than any 125cc you may have had.
Guys, next summer im thinking bout buying honda shadow 750. it's my dream bike! i love it. Yesterday got my license. Only question right now is im 6,3 inch tall (189cm). Why do you guys call a 750 a beginner bike, a few years back that was a super bike, let's face it you can only go so fast on the road before you get in trouble
Well, if the normal 114 cu in (1868cc) Harley cruiser is a bike for an experienced rider, then what would you call a 750cc v-twin? The smallest Harley v-twin currently made is the 786cc Sportster 48 and it's always been considered a beginner bike.
My first Bike is a 125 Shadow (Im not allowed to drive something in Germany) and i love it. I installed a Silver Tail Exhaust because the original sound sucks. But thats the only bad thing about it. Its a good entry Level bike and even tho its a cruiser you can drive really sporty. I just love it

You need to tip your camera up just a little. Great video otherwise. the furthest I ever took the one I had was 320 miles each way. It wasn't a bad trip other than it turned cold on the way home.God bless!
Thinking about buying one of these. 2010 750 phantom so it's all blacked out. Looks real nice - wanting an upgrade from my ninja 250. Never rode a cruiser before though.
I have the exact same bike, and it's my first bike. I love driving it, but I find the highway tough, like I'm being blown around. Is this because it's a small bike? Or normal and just something to get used to?

so i wanna buy honda shadow aero 2020. im just worried. what if it isn’t big enough? what if after some time i’ll want something bigger? :( idk what to do. help. is it really a good bike?
Buy a used one.. that way if you want something bigger you won't lose as much.. lots of people buy them then want bigger .. lol.. I'm thinking about the opposite.. moving down to a 750ish size bike
Love these bikes. I have a 07 vtx 1300 and a 08 aero just like this one. I'm actually just finishing up turning it into a little chop. They look awesome customized and the aftermarket support is great. My Harley just sits now lol My vtx 1300 is surprisingly decent with the engine mods I was able to do. Just fun bikes and you can beat em for the price.
I want one for me and my girl. We're always going to her family's house and traffics is really bad when I need to get home early. Im 6ft3 285 right now.

I gotta say, I do love the Bible quotes. Not something people are proud to talk about these days especially on social media 🙌🏾🙌🏾 Anyway, I’m making this my first bike ever, I’m excited!!
I drove any kind of bikes in Europe from 50cc when I was 15, to 1300 cc. Anyway. Got a Burgman 650 in Canada and yes you can easily drive cross country with a medium bike. Drove from Edmonton AB down to Las Vegas on 2 650 with no issues. Except my son from Germany complained why North America is so big! Even pulled a US guy with a bigger bike to a gas station because he had some issues with his American made one. He actually asked to ride my 650 scooter on the lot.
i aint tryin to ride like a rocket dude lol.. i thank u. i like easy but i want something big but not too big. im 5' 4" i will have alot of fun with it. im sure
At the begnning you said "we took it at the shop and had the carbs cleaned and tuned", and i ask "isn't that the injection model?". Nice video by the way, as all your videos.
So.... you'd consider a Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic a "beginners car" but more experienced drivers would want something bigger with more power? WHY does everyone think experienced riders want/need 1500cc's and 200 hp? I've been riding for 50 years and I've never had more than 750 (rode a Virago 750 across the country!). Anything more than 750 is just for ego and testosterone (which I guess is why they're also called a "girl's bike")

Im looking at one and I think its the right bike for me Thanks Brian
My sister use to have a Honda Shadow 500. She wants another one. I told her I think she would like a 750 Shadow better.
I had zero idea they made a shadow 500
Wasn't the 500 a transverse twin?
Say no more...it's a honda the name speaks for its self...great bikes
My husband and l ride these bikes every where and we have a side car attached to it and we still have good power l love these bikes soooo reliable easy to work on beautiful bike, 30 years ago 750s were big engines people rode around in British bikes 350 500 now somehow 750s are girl bike most girls couldn’t ride one don’t get it of coarse it a man bike by the way love your videos cheers from Australia

“So... looking for a man...” lol
I’m 19 weighing 120 lbs and started out on this bike
I’m 6’5 285lbs idk if it will be good for me. I’m a new rider
Hows the power with your ol lady on the back?
What is the minimum height for a person to ride this ?
I really liked how you started the video with the Bible, praise God and all his glory
Got someone wanting to trade a lovely 2002 750 w/6 k miles for my old suburban that i am asking $2000 for. The pics look awesome and a garage Queen. Owners upgraded to a Harley. I am trying to decide. I have never owned a motorcycle. I have owned 150 cc scooters. But have been wanting to try something entry level. Thoughts
Joes Golden Garage do it I luv mine
Joes Golden Garage
Did you do the deal?
@Joes Golden Garage I'm curious as to whether you went with the deal?
This part of America looks beautiful and extremely well kept!
completely different from the countryside here in the UK...
Welcome to America, friend. We do things differently and we never let Muslims step on us.
Eh that's not really the country side. Go out to bumblefuck it'll look pretty raw
Doom Guy I grew up in small town Ohio. Can confirm.
Doing twice the speed limit in a residential neighborhood while quoting bible scripts and not using your blinker. Interesting combination.
Atalex why be so judgmental about something as trivial as that. ? This is a good man that is honest and a christian not perfect but not vulgar like the other ones that drop the F bomb during their review !
Gary Teague
Quoting bible verses is just a sales and branding strategy for this channel. Comes off as totally phony to me.

I think God would be more upset about taking his name in vain than using the dreaded *F* word.
so i wanna buy honda shadow aero 2020. im just worried. what if it isn’t big enough? what if after some time i’ll want something bigger? :( idk what to do. help. is it really a good bike?
Buy a used one.. that way if you want something bigger you won't lose as much.. lots of people buy them then want bigger .. lol.. I'm thinking about the opposite.. moving down to a 750ish size bike
Love these bikes. I have a 07 vtx 1300 and a 08 aero just like this one. I'm actually just finishing up turning it into a little chop. They look awesome customized and the aftermarket support is great.
My Harley just sits now lol
My vtx 1300 is surprisingly decent with the engine mods I was able to do. Just fun bikes and you can beat em for the price.
That black and grey is pretty cool.. Bought my first bike today 05 shadow.. And its blue with flames.. They are nice looking bikes
Love your vids!
Have you ever sent a motorcycle internationally??
I want one for me and my girl. We're always going to her family's house and traffics is really bad when I need to get home early. Im 6ft3 285 right now.
I have the Aero 750 and I love it! The highlights of your videos are the Scriptures, please keep them coming. Safe riding and God bless!
Those are really nice gloves what are they? They'd match my red sedici jacket great.
Got to point out the black Ferrari puma in the intro. Love those shoes. God bless and stay safe.
it is economic ? i dont know between old goldwing 1100 and shadow 750 . me use is for travel
Just bought a 1985 Honda Shadow 750 😊
Stupid question..... I am buying a 2006 Shadow VT750c. Is a Classic an Aero or are they different?
+Scott Hartog yes they are just minor differences. Wheels, fenders, handlebars. Maybe the tank
Srkcycles Thanks mate.
I see that you guys are in PA. That rules me out of running out to where you are...much. I love the videos, and...the Word; definitely love the Word !!
Im 6.3, will this make me look to big on it?
Nah I'm 6'4 and it's fine. I've got bars that are slung back though so I kind of lean back on them.
You guys didn’t wave at each other what’s going on here? 😂
I've been looking for a shadow 1100 but all the dealers only have 750s and under
Pretty sure Honda no longer makes anything bigger than a 750 shadow wise
I gotta say, I do love the Bible quotes. Not something people are proud to talk about these days especially on social media 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Anyway, I’m making this my first bike ever, I’m excited!!
Do you recommend a cross country road trip? On this 750??
I drove any kind of bikes in Europe from 50cc when I was 15, to 1300 cc. Anyway. Got a Burgman 650 in Canada and yes you can easily drive cross country with a medium bike. Drove from Edmonton AB down to Las Vegas on 2 650 with no issues. Except my son from Germany complained why North America is so big! Even pulled a US guy with a bigger bike to a gas station because he had some issues with his American made one. He actually asked to ride my 650 scooter on the lot.
All I want to do is use it for when my wife may needs to drive my car haha perfect
How about a 6 foot 190lbs man am I too small.
I really want to get a Honda shadow
It Honda Shadow750cc I Want to see wiht that.

Dude tripping hahaha I want a solo bike period for myself haha
Hey Shawn I'm 6 foot 1 and 190lbs if you need a full size man let me know I wanna visit the shop
+Carolina fishing and outdoors in 6'2" but I ll keep you in mind lol
Love the scriptures, keep it coming. I had a 750 and loved it for my first 2 years of riding, now on an Aero 1100
At the begnning you said "we took it at the shop and had the carbs cleaned and tuned", and i ask "isn't that the injection model?". Nice video by the way, as all your videos.
I think injection came along in 2011 but I could be wrong
So.... you'd consider a Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic a "beginners car" but more experienced drivers would want something bigger with more power? WHY does everyone think experienced riders want/need 1500cc's and 200 hp? I've been riding for 50 years and I've never had more than 750 (rode a Virago 750 across the country!). Anything more than 750 is just for ego and testosterone (which I guess is why they're also called a "girl's bike")
Is a 2003 honda 750 shadow worth $2300?
depends on the trim model. The 2003 ACE 750 will blue book for 2400 in perfect condition.
Our sponsor..the Bible! 😂
How mych $$$ ???
