That's actually cool. Wallpaper Engine earned my respect. Though I don't use it , I can use my phone to control my Steam Deck wallpaper whenever I own one.
Been watching your channel for a long time now, somehow i missed this video when you first did it. And just by chance googled how to for animated backgrounds and your youtube video popped up. Had to watch, and as always great video! Oh, and its great how some of them will put the clock and or the date in the wallpaper as well. Keep up the great work ETA!
Nice job, prime...thanks much for these options! 😊👍👍
I always wondered where you got your desktops from. Thanks. I’ll be taking a look at both sites.
Ha! A great reveal and I’ll check out your 2 programs! I’ve been a fan of live wallpapers since I had a Garfield wallpaper from a Windows 98 Plus accessory disk that unfortunately wasn’t compatible with later editions of Windows.
I like the audio visualizer wallpapers on the Wallpaper Engine. Not that many, but they're pretty good.
I made a few on my steam account
@@microtasker whats your steam name
Great video! I was just thinking yesterday how you have awesome wall papers and where could I get them!
Wow thanks for making a video dedicated to this very topic. When are you gonna do a refresh on doing emulation on windows 11. That would be a great topic for a future video. Thanks again.
That's actually cool. Wallpaper Engine earned my respect.
No man would say such words. Are you a bot?
@@BridgeWyvern Yes
Thank you so much for making a dedicated video to this topic!
BEEN WAITING THIS FOR SO LONG!
Awesome!!! Just what I needed.
thank you so much for this video I have been dying to know how you get your wall papers!
I always chuckle a bit how the developers added an onboarding “hide anime” button 😅 That category really blew up and basically split the app into two very different audiences. +1 for Wallpaper Engine, well worth the $4!!
All ways wondering about those wallpapers. Now I know, very cool.
A very well explained video, thank you very much :)
I was just thinking about this yesterday and then you made a video about it lol
Thanks ETA.. My son is going to love this
Thanks a lot - your video is a Great start to soft soft. I'm onto it !
much needed this is awesome thanks so much!
Awesome! Another useful video. Thanks ETA. Hoot!
i love you so mcuh like actually so fricking much !! ive been trying for so long dude its ridiculous i was about to give up after downloading so many apps to set this up but then i came across ur video and i feel like an idiot for how ez it was all this time
OMG!!!!! very helpful! I watched another tutorial and it took me how many hours and didn't work, while yours already worked even not finish the video...
Thanks ETA. I did not know there was mobile version of wallpaper engine.
Lively stopped working a few months ago this is a blessing!
Cool thanks, wonder if you used it with ARM PCs! Does it have a big impact on resources?
I was meaning to ask about this. Thanks!
Oh Man!... Very Nice!... Thanks so much for your tip!... I really appreciate... I had a desktop live wallpaper app but stopped and not working! And now I found you talking about MLWpp. I am very happy for this Free app!... Very very grateful!...
thank you for the tutorial i was scared bc it said unknown publisher but it worked
Thanks for the tutorial, this is just what I wanted to do but haven't gotten to it yet.
I used to set GIFs as wallpapers on Windows XP.
I'm pretty sure I didn't use any third party applications for that.
On Windows 7 there was a way I used those too.
Don't remember though how it was done.
thank you young man u just earned a sub. Much love to you
Wallpaper Engine is the best! There are so many options there.
Money....
@@TA14Cricket bro its only 7 dollars.
Finally thank you for this
I keep thinking to ask this on your videos. You read my mind!
DeskScapes by StarDock is another option. It came with my Object Desktop license, so I just use that. Same sort of thing ... uses video files for wallpaper with multiple config options.
thank you for the wallpaper it defiantly earned my respect
Thanks bro it really helped me
Wallpaper engine is the best 3£ I ever spent 😃 thanks 4 the recommendation
Nice dude! Very easy and perferct act^^ thank so much^^
Thank you very much for the explanation
hey ETA just wanted to let you know. genshin impact has a bug where the framerate can drop up to 5 or more fps like every 30s to 1min on pc.
it looks like it been happening a long while and we don't see any signs of a fix. soo when your doing a test just keep that in mind
Excellent video!
Are u getting the new pixel 6a for test?
I use the galaxy wallpaper. I like the subtle animations, the stuff with lots of movement is too disorienting for me when on a desktop.
I have it on the lock screen for my Samsung phone but once I'm in the phone i have a solid wallpaper
Great video! Also, what is that song that you have playing in the first half?
THANK YOU FOR THE HELP BRO YOU ARE THE BEST
Does take a bit of a hit on the CPU and GPU though so if you have a low cost and low powered Windows 10/11 machine, this can take away away from your resources.
You only need to deactivate it for gaming. Easy setting.
thank you this helped soooo much
Wallpaper Engine is worth the $4 (oh and the Android app is free as well)
OMG!.. I don't know how many questions i made about the animated wallpapers and i didn't see this video! my bad!... thanks ETA
Thank you so much for this man! Subd! :)
had to find this video again after getting a new pc , downloading the vid so it doesnt happen again , much love ❤❤
I’ve been waiting for this!!! But I’d like to know how to do it on Linux as well. Maybe mac…
downloaded engine from steam, it worth that around 3$ you get so good app thanks for video
Finally! thanks man!
Do any of these work with multi-monitor setups? To span all displays?
thanks for the free app wallpaper....... and I subscribed also.
Thank you it worked❤
i used lively for some timew. also works nice
I follow U since Pokemo go tips
Good job
from France
Hi, thanks for showing. Do you know if I can add "Legion" to it :) I'm looking for cool live Legion wallpaper. Thanks in advance!
On 3 different computers WallpaperEngine was running 100% cpu usage for me, if you have Razer accessories & this happens goto settings and turn off the Chroma plugin
I use wallpaper engine on steam. I love it honestly because with my pc fans it can match it so if my wallpapers christmas pepe, it matches the colors. It does cost 10 dollars though.
That cube i belive was made in blender. Looks like Ducky 3D kind of thing :) I like his work and am learning by it.
Thanks a lot dude! I really want the first wallpaper on the begging. Is it possible to tell me where can be found. Thanks in advance!
Do you have any recommendation for Linux Os?
Wallpaper Engine is awesome and they made it for Android too for live (and video) backgrounds.
Electricity costs going up worldwide coz peeps now leaving PC’s on to flex live wallpapers. 🤦♂️🤣
I remember doing this with Linux in the 90s my question is if this uses a lot of resources now
His voice sounds like Dream, nice video btw.
the first one is cool because we can add music and its good for music lover
i love u so much bro, thanks very much
Nice I got a 4750 g and I love it thanx
I used Lively Wallpaper long time ago, then used loop relaxing videos from UA-cam like rain, waterfall, fireplace.
I do this, it uses way less resources than Wallpaper Engine.
Thanks!!
I have the app but quit using it. Some wallpapers depending upon the resolution and intricacy can work your GPU like running a game 24/7.
I prefer my hardware to get some downtime when I'm just browsing the web or listening to a podcast.
Not burning power for pretty pictures that I can't even play.
wallpaper engine pauses automatically when you don't have the desktop in focus. It won't run 24/7.
@@MattAkiyama1 only when in full screen does it not render. If you are working in multiple windows or any time you minimize your browser/game it's running.
Lively wallpaper will go idle when the desktop cannot be seen. Most are smart enough to not run when the effects can't be seen
Ngl been wondering about that one myself when watching the vids
awesome bro!
Thankyou!!
Nice job, little hint, u can use the mousewheel click to open a link in a new tab ^^
CTRL+T too.
*you
Thanks mister prime
Great job💐🫡👍🏻👍🏻💐
thanks man for making this video it worked for me so i will give you a like and stick around to see if i may subscribe. (i installed a really crappy windows live wallpaper software and i just couldn't get it to work for some reason)
Thanks much!!!!!
Lively wallpaper is also a good free alternative that works well for me.
How good are these programs with multiple (4+) displays at resolutions 1080, 1440, and 4k - all running at different refresh rates??
Wait, is that NUC X15? Did i miss a video about it? Didn’t remember you ever do a review about it.
Thank you sir...........
Would be nice if there was a wallpaper for video stream, UA-cam tv, or UA-cam. Use to have a capture card that allowed wallpaper tv streaming.
Is that wallpaper on your laptop using wallpaper engine? Or MyLiveWallpapers? It looks rlly cool
Lively Wallpaper is also a good option
How about linux(specifically the deck)? Is there a different way or just wallpaper engine trought steam/proton?
you can use this with vlc player to rip parts of video's an make your own live wallpapers then run the app that way too btw
Prime please tell me where you found the wallpaper on the monitor in the cover
I really like these.. but not sure I can live with the 7% constant hit to CPU \ GPU
the sites do not load or work any longer. At least not for me. Great video and very informational.
What's the wallpaper on the monitor called it looks cool
Nice... which laptop is that
i once started building a wallpaper out of owlpoy assets... i tried to make a day and night cycle depending on ur time... it worked but i wanted to add more stuff and lost interessted because i cant really code html lol
Thanks bro
