    I really like you Rachael, you’re so different from the other chronic illness accounts. I love how empowered you are, how you’ve decided to take your health into your own hands instead of waiting after doctors to heal you. I’m so happy that you’re feeling better 💕. I’ve been chronically ill for almost 3 years with debilitating chronic pain and I’m also at a point in my life where I don’t want to learn to manage. I want to heal. And finding people like you who believe healing is possible is really motivating, I really wish I could have someone like you in my life right now because I guess I’d have someone to share that perspective with.

    Good to see DNRS has helped you so much; it healed myself of CFS with DNRS, after I improved a fair bit with Keto diet. I have mild CFS again as too much stress in life so I was looking up testimonials re NDRS cause that is as good as doing the exercises, I find. The brain is changing because we have faith in it to change and watching people like you helps with that.

    Thanks so much sharing your story Rachel 🧡. That is incredible to heal from bedbound to be able to do everyday things.
    You get picture from headings of your videos that the DNRS is the major thing changing your life to be a lot healthier. When I watch your videos, it seems there are a plenty of other stuff which might have had quite big impact to healing: nutrition, Florida therapy etc. I would like to hear more about those. How were you kicked to the right direction. Who were giving the good advice addition to your own intuition. Like the key moments.
    One question is do you have commercial co-operation with DNRS? Or is it just you feel it so important to have it in the headings and advertisements on the videos?
    Keep going on with your progress ☺️🙏💛

    I wonder if Hauser has thoughts about your diet impacting your cervical instability and your tmj? You’re using a lot more muscles to eat and a lot more repetition of movements in the associated joints.
    That makes a difference for me. Albeit, less so since the acdf and detethering. But my tmj is very loose and my cci is untreated, so chewing is still something that I have to be cognizant of.
    I’m very excited for you being on a bike!!! Wow 😮 wow 😯 wow 😮

    Can you help me understand how you eat? I eat a very heavy based animal diet but not strictly carnivore. How do you eat regularly? Just a bowl of ground beef or a steak? Do you do bone broth and eats the tendons and cartilage? Any recommendations? Or books/websites/podcasts? Would really appreciate it.
    This video had me crying. I wish I had a friend like you lol. I’ve been chronically ill for over 8 years. It’s been a crazy ride. I’ve gotten closer to God and I know He’s used this experience for the best. I’m lyme free after 2 years doing bee venom therapy. But unfortunately I am hyper mobile, deal with mold toxicity (CIRS), and just generally I am very unstable and weak. Chronic pain and I can’t hold adjustments etc etc. I’m sure you know it all lol. I also live in a bubble because my environment has to be extremely clean no mold or chemicals etc. so I have a hard time traveking, staying in hotels, and at family or friends places because of how sensitive I am 😔 it really really sucks. I feel so trapped. It’s Nice to have someone to relate to. It’s crazy being so sick for so long. You become really isolated and it can be very lonely. But I realize there’s people out there suffering like me which is oddly comforting. Anyways, thanks for sharing. I need to start DNRS, I have had it for 2 years and just haven’t started. I get very overwhelmed easily, esp starting new protocols.

    Hi Rachael! Could you share a bit more about what made you choose the Dnrs program over the other brain retraining programs like Gupta or ans rewire? I wonder if they have similar techniques and results.

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  2 роки тому +3

      Yes of course! Honestly I don’t have a huge reason that I chose DNRS over Gupta. I read Annie Hoppers book and it resonated with me. Also, I feel like I was able to find more success stories with DNRS than Gupta or ANS Rewire. That truthfully may just be because DNRS is more well-known. I did some free meditations with Gupta’s app last year and enjoyed them. I think at some point I will try Gupta to see what the differences are and if there is anything new to learn. 😊 I’m guessing you can’t go wrong-though I’m sure some programs will work better than others for different personalities, etc.

    Hey Rachael, thanks for sharing :) I'm a vegan with hEDS, and don't think I'd personally feel comfortable ever eating animal-based products again. Do you know if the benefits of the carnivore diet are from specific proteins in the meats that I could find plant-based alternatives for? I really respect your journey with the diet, just don't think it's for me so wanted to know if you had any details on what exactly about it is benefitting you? :) Hope you're well xx

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  2 роки тому +7

      Hi Rosie! Thank you for your sweet message. ❤️️ I used to be vegetarian and can definitely understand where you're coming from. Actually, I've never felt better ethically about the food I'm eating. I get all my meats from regenerative farms that treat their animals very well.
      I'd highly recommend the book "The Sacred Cow"--it really opened my mind to how essential animal agriculture is to the environment. I've learned so much about how destructive mono-cropping of vegetables and grains is to the environment and how it also kills billions of animals a year. Unfortunately, in order for life to be sustained death has to happen. We're so far removed from our food that I think people sometimes forget how brutal nature is!
      As for health benefits, the nutrients in animal-based foods are much more bioavailable (meaning they are absorbed better) than plant foods. Plant foods also have anti-nutrients and oxalates which can be damaging to health. Personally, I do not do well with vegetables/grains, and feel so much better energy and pain wise being animal-based. I did a lot of research before jumping into this diet because I was very nervous about it. But never have I found such overwhelmingly positive healing stories with any other type of diet (I had researched and tried vegetarian, paleo, gluten free, refined sugar free, etc).
      My belief is that animal fats and proteins are essential for optimal human health. Of course I always respect other opinions and viewpoints. Really all I want is for people to be healthy and feel their best! So whatever way people get there, I'm happy!
      P.S. These are a few other books that I've found extremely insightful: "Gut & Physiology Syndrome" by Dr. Natasha McBride (there's a section about connective tissue disorders in there, which I found really interesting). And "Vegetarianism Explained" by Dr. Natasha McBride. ❤️️ Dr. Ken Berry has a lot of useful information on his UA-cam channel as well.
      Rooting for you in your own healing journey and hoping you're lead to whats best for you!! Hopefully this came across in the right way.

    I feel like I may have missed a video or something.. I’m wondering how you can tell the difference between healing due to the carnivore diet & healing due to DNRS?

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  Рік тому

      I started carnivore about 7 months before DNRS and saw significant progress with it! When I started DNRS I started seeing a new level of healing/progress. In many of my videos I’ve mentioned that it’s difficult to know exactly what improvement is from what effort when you’re trying several things at once. But starting DNRS & carnivore were separated enough to know they both have been very important factors in my healing! Hope that makes sense.

      @@mrs.2214 Hi there! Personally, I still think I would recommend DNRS over Gupta, but both programs definitely have their pros/cons. I plan to do a full comparison as soon as I can. ☺ That being said, both programs are great and give the tools needed for recovery. Many have recovered with both. I think some people may do better with DNRS than Gupta and vice versa-but you really can't go wrong. The most important thing is that you're committed to retraining and are open minded to it. ❤ If you're unsure, you could listen to a podcast with Annie Hopper (the creator of DNRS) and Ashok Gupta to see which person resonates with you more. Hope that's helpful in some way! I'm cheering you on in your healing journey.
