Oh Shellie! You just ooze kindness! Thank you so much for all your kind shoutouts! To even be in the same sentence as Kristie, Katie and Tina is an honor! I’m so happy you enjoyed my Christmas stitching I’ve so enjoyed making over the years. They all make me so happy to display and to have a community that enjoys it like I do has been one of the best experiences of my life! Then, the kindness towards my birthday, girlfriend, you made this 60 year old feel 20 again! Birthdays are very hard since my mom died 3 years ago and I truly believe you are all angels working for her for my big birthday year. There are no words to tell you how much that means to me and how touched I am! I’m thrilled you’re joining us. Happy New Year! Can’t wait to see all the beautiful things you make. Thank you again!❤❤❤
Shelly, I just love your flosstubes. So much information! Love the snowflake crochet blocks you v are making. Where did you find your pattern? Please share... I'm hooked😊
Hi Shellie It’s lovely to see you and catch up with all your news and wonderful handiwork. I absolutely love the crocheted Christmas throw, and would like to make one myself. How about a Christmas throw along with you!!!!! Take care my friend and a very Happy Christmas to you and a happy and healthy New Year 🎉🎉🎉 👵 x
Shellie what an amazing video. I love sitting and stitching while I watch. Everything you do is beautiful and what an amazing haul. I had paid for the Jingle Ball but was so busy I wasn’t able to get on very much. I did see some things I wanted to buy but when I went back on, what I wanted was sold out. You are one person that I hope to meet in person one day. I just love your personality and your calm sweetness and love that you give to everyone. I can’t wait to see the video with all your Christmas decorations. I loved the video you did a while ago of your home. It was absolutely amazing.
Yay!!! I love that seam ripper, email sent!! Thank you Shellie and Amber. Great FT as always and I'm looking forward to seeing all of your seasonal stitching❤
Such a fun video Shellie!!! I'm a little late on the bandwagon but I'm going to do the wipgo with the cousins too! I'm heading right over to watch their video and get going with that!
Patriotic is the only "seasonal" I stitch which is kept year round for us...I have many interests, and my choices are reflected in projects that spark a memory or feeling that is important in my life, so that's a long way of saying I believe in the "stitch what we love" . Dare I say I go further by having an eclectic colleciton of work woven in every part of the house.and it's always makes me smile Happy stitching and Merry Christmas.✨
Thank you for another great video. And thank you for all the wonderful gifts you gave away for your 10,000 subscribers. I think that was so nice of you. I am sure all the winners are going to love what they won. Merry Christmas to you and your family! ❤
I love Hardanger too. I finally bit the bullet and taught myself. There are a lot of great Hardanger groups on Facebook. I love your videos. I so want to learn to quilt. If I could be a quarter of the quilter you are I would consider myself successful. Hugs.
I love your crochet throw, my mom loved to crochet, she taught me sewing which I love but I'm not good at crochet. I'm with you on Christmas stitching. I have more Christmas patterns in my stash that I will ever stitch. But I am a seasonal stitcher and I struggle to do anything Christmas in the summer. So now I'm frantically trying to finish 3 more gifts, I gave up on my Christmas quilt to focus on these gifts. My family just shakes their head because I can not focus unless its the season. Enjoy watching you, Congrats to ALL winners. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I love the crochet blocks. So cheerful. Thanks for persevering and redoing your flosstube.i really enjoyed it. Merry Christmas and I’ll see you next at the tour.
Merry Christmas! your crochet is lovey! I need to return to crochet. Two years ago right before Christmas, my motherinlaw, an avid crochet queen passed away. I went with my husband The day the donation truck was coming to collect he final belongings after the many siblings and grands had gone thru everything. I noticed a bin that I thought would be great for stitchy things. When I picked up the bin, in it was my mother in laws crochet hook collection and a photo of her with an afghan she had made us for an anniversary. Its as if she was looking down and led me to that bin. Now I need to put those hooks to work! Thank you for the crochet inspiration! Would love to learn how you connected your squares!
Christmas is my favorite holiday too. I too hate putting them away y seasonal stitching but now I find even though I am sad when I put it away but then when I bring it back it is liking seeing and old friend and the excitment of seeing it again.
I am a seasonal stitcher. I usually work on seasonal smalls while keeping larger sampler projects going. I try to time the smalls so that they are fully finished by the various holiday but I don't always meet my goals, Usually wait too long to start the small. Filling up my dough bowl is my goal!! Great video, enjoy seeing all your progress and creativity.
Thanks so much for the great compliment Shellie, I'm enjoying all the wonderful Christmas eye candy as well. Love the crochet blanket colors, crochet was the first type of handwork I learned as a little girl. Made me think of some placemats I made several years ago, should get them out and enjoy them for Christmas dinner. Enjoy your stitching, one stitch at a time. Merry Christmas, Kristy.
I so enjoyed your Flosstube (as always)! I love your crocheting. I haven't done any crocheting in about a year. You're giving me the bug to start crocheting again .I remember, sadly, that I had a garbage bags full of granny squares with the flower center all done and felt like it wasn't "in" anymore, so I gave them to the Salvation Army. I sure wish I had them now! May you and your family have a joy-filled Christmas!
Glad you are jumping on the seasonal band wagon.....it is hard to put some stitches away though when I'm so close to a finish but the draw to the next season is too strong for me...... like a huge magnet 😊 Great video once again ❤ Have a blessed holiday season.... can't wait to see your home tour.
Shellie, I am not a seasonal stitcher at all. Somewhat of a monogamous stitcher here. I have three big projects going Courage by Praiseworthy SAL with Pam, Frogwarts Year 1 Black Needle Society, and Five O'Clock By Ink Circles. Alternate between the 3 and will do a small from start to finish. However, this does not prevent me from buying all the things🤑! Thank you for sharing all your haul. Cannot wait to see your afghan finish. Happy Stitching!
Happy Holidays and many blessings. Sorry you had such a struggle with the video, we sure apricate the effort you put in. Shelly, you're not missing anything if you are stitching what you love. I make 19 ornaments for family all year long and I throw them in between the larger stitches I am working on (I drive myself crazy if I have more than 2 or 3 projects going at one time). I love the Mill Hill Santa's so I plan this next year to do one a month, these will be for me and if I stay true to myself will have 12 Santa's by Christmas. Your crochet Afghan will be beautiful when you're done. My mother crochet beautiful Afghan and one year did the Poinsettias Christmas stockings using the granny square for me and my four siblings. Thank you for bringing back a wonderful memory! Can't wait to see the tour of your mill and home! Merry Christmas!🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Shellie I understand not putting your seasonal stitching away as I love Christmas and hate the packing up of everything until the next year. However it gives me joy each season to have small displays around my home of my stitched projects. I’m sure you will find your way to what makes you the happiest in your journey of stitching. The granny squares are gorgeous and I want to stitch Ivy Hill after seeing yours❤️. Congratulations to all the winners of those wonderful prizes. Looking forward to your Christmas tour of the Mill and your lovely home.😊 Merry Christmas to all your family✨
I so enjoyed your Christmas Stitching video! I am working fast to see how many new smalls I can get stitched before the 25th; (FFOing them is another issue.lol) Putting Christmas stitching away is hard to do after the holidays....but...when you get them out again next year it is like seeing an old friend again and falling in love with them all over again! Thank you for sharing your time & talents with us and I wish you & yours a most Blessed Christmas and a Healthy, Happy New Year! xoxo
My problem is I’m a seasonal stitcher….it leaves me little time for my samplers and other patterns. I’m thinking of not stitching seasonal and working on my big pieces.
I had a ball (pun intended) at the Jingle Ball. It was my first time. The WIP speed dating was a hoot. I didn't get to do any until Sunday night and kept getting paired with stitchers from the west coast (I'm in PA) which was fun. My big highlight was getting to speed date with Jeanette Douglas!! I still need to finish my Santa's Night tree. With everything else I need to get done, I doubt I will finish it before the new year so I need to go re-watch Liz's finishing instructions a couple of times before we lose access. I also (unknowingly - not sure how I did it) signed up for the biscornu class. Since they scare me subconsciously I must have figured I really needed the class! Merry Christmas!!
Thank you for the beautiful video. I love all of your Christmas inspiration! I also love your idea of organizing your projects together, I need to work on that! It would make it so easy to access projects for what mood or season you are feeling like stitching.
Again, Congratulations for the 10K subscribers. I so enjoy your videos. Definitely looking forward to the Christmas tour of mill and house. Awesome. Congratulations to ALL the winners of your generousity! Keep up the videos; I always look forward to them. Merry Christmas to You and Your Family!
Your grandkids are just precious. I hope if I ever get to have any grand babies that I will get to spend quality time with them like you do. What a blessing! Merry Christmas from my family to yours. ❤🎄🎁🥰
I've always been more of a seasonal & holiday stitcher. There are just so many wonderful things. I do put them away, but always have plans for the next season 💕
@@antiqueneedleworkers that’s okay I love watching you and all your amazing projects I started cross stitching in 2017 while in the hospital.my mom tried several times to try and now I wish I had since she’s gone now.
Merry Christmas, love your sweet videos, the blue bag is beautiful, I also took the Wreath class at Jungle Ball, I love them. I so love Santa he is so cute, looking forward to seeing him constructed, love the Roxy bag. I am so happy to see the Prairie Schooler designs coming back in style nice whops. I am not a seasonal stitcher but will be changing that soon. You are very organized. Congratulations to the winners.
I related to your words regarding seasonal stitching. I don’t have very much stitched Christmas and I ado love it. I am basically a sampler girl. I have managed to stick with Christmas so far for December. Thank you for a wonderful video.
Fun Intro. Tis the season to set those credit cards on fire. I've enjoyed splurging!! Prairie Schooler charts are timeless. I use the tiny 3-4" hoops. Beautiful colors on your crochet piece. I'm more of a perfectionist stitcher. I mostly do Patriotic & Christmas, but also seasonal designs & whimsy ones which make me smile. When I finish a large project I'm a bit lost as what to start next. It is like an empty feeling, as it was a such fun one to stitch, yet I have plenty of WIPS to pick up. That will be very cool on that spool scissor holder. Congrats all.
Thanks for sharing all your work Shellie- maybe try to think of your Christmas stitching this way, you do have to put it away for a while, but every season when you bring it back out, they're like seeing old friends again! That's why I love decorating my Christmas tree every year, I'm revisiting old friends as I do. Also, I try to set aside a small amount of time each month of the year to stitch a little bit on my prairie schooler Santas for a tree. I wind up finishing about 6 a year, but it keeps me seeing them throughout the year. Hope this helps! PS I love samplers too, that's what I stitch the most.
Merry Christmas, Shelli! Loved this video. My very favorite stitching is Christmas stitching and I do some all year long! It always gives me warm fuzzies inside❤
I very much enjoyed your video and seeing all the projects that you've been working on. I love your Christmas crochet blanket and I loved seeing your progress on all of your Prairie Schoolers and your Wee Santa finish. I am a seasonal stitcher too but I'm always attracted to stitching samplers or charts with florals in them and my favorite are things that I can gift or leave up all year long. I was so thrilled to hear you call my name for the Stitch kit and I will send you an email. Thank you so much for another amazing video. Wishing you and your family a very Happy Christmas season.
Shellie,I wish you a wonderful Christmas. I love your videos and I used to crochet but wood love for you to do a video and also show us how you connect the squares, please? As usual beautiful stitching❤️😊
I love your videos from day one. You have enabled me on many cross stitch projects.”, even to try 40ct. I will be trying the hawk hollow in it pretty soon. I am a new stitcher just started last November. I only did one project at a time because I am so facilitated by the stitches bringing out a pattern that is just beautiful. Since watching you and so other floss tubers I now have 5 projects going. You mentioned the Roxy spelling Roxie bag where could I purchase one? Thanks and keep the videos coming I can’t wait till the next one.
Here is a direct link to Gammas Treasure Shop on Etsy. You can find the Roxy Retreat bags there www.etsy.com/shop/GammasTreasuresShop Thank yo for watching
Another wonderful video, Shellie. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I enjoy stitching Christmas designs any time of the year-my favorite. Congrats to all of the winners. Pam Miller
I solve the problem of not wanting to put my Christmas stitching away by not putting it away! Years ago I stitched Lavender and Lace’s Song of Christmas and have it hanging in my sewing room. I move it to the main part of the house for the Christmas, but otherwise it hangs where I can enjoy it most. I have just finished stitching ByGone Stitches Quaker Christmas II, and plan to do the same thing when I get it framed. There is too much love and beauty in those to pack them away for most of the year. Surely you could find a corner to dedicate to Christmas all year long.
So happy to see you had a new video. So many beautiful goodies. I can’t wait to see your progress on the crochet blanket. Merry Christmas to you and your family. God bless you.💞
Thank you Shellie for the video. I love the look of the tiny band sampler. I seem to be gravitating to tiny stitching at the moment,or should I say tiny object stitching. My Christmas stitch is a Just Nan mouse. Congratulations to all the winners of the subscriber video goodies. Shellie if you don't manage to post before the day, may I wish you and your family a most joyous and peaceful Christmas. May I extend that wish to all your subscribers especially anyone who like me may be alone this festive season.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Thank you for a very nice visit. I didn't get as much Christmas stitching done as I would like to have, but maybe I need to be stitching it all this year. We'll see! Can't wait to see your Christmas video.
Thank you for another great video, so sorry it was a bugger to film. I have a friend who is an empty nesters who still takes her pictures down at Christmas and puts snow and Santa pictures up. I feel the same as you about only putting things out for a short period of time only to stash them away. Merry Christmas🎄
I can stitch Christmas pieces all year long because I love it so much. I don’t know how I could jump from project to project and have so many WIPs. Merry Christmas and keep doing what you love!
I watched this video as I was doing some seasonal stitching. I, too, am wild about Christmas. The blessings of the season are delightful to share with my friends and loved ones. How special it is that even strangers wish each other a Merry Christmas. I am working to have a body of stitched Christmas pieces. Slow and steady.... What a delight to visit with you with a fire in the fireplace and stitching in my lap. Thank you...Merry Christmas!
Hi Shelley, can you give me the instructions for the Christmas granny squares you are crocheting. I know how to makr granny squares, but would like the exact pattern for the square. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Shelley. Hope your new year is a blessing. Thank you Carol.
Hi Shellie I have a question. Where do you order your Roxy Bags from? I love your idea of putting multiple projects from the same designer in one bag. Please let me know. I would love to order some bags.
I wear two different brands one for each eye. I have an astigmatism in my right eye on top of my vision issues so I have to wear a different kind in that eye . The right eye is Bioginity Toric multifocal by cooper vision. And the left is aquaclear multifocal. But they both are comfortable and I can see the best out of them. This last go round we tried like 6 different kinds to see if I possibly use a different kind, mine are pricey- but nothing works as well for me. I hope you find one that works for you. I do still have to pop on readers for small print I have topped out my prescription for my up cLose vision So that will have to be the way things are from here on out unless I just wear my regular glasses. But I prefer my contacts because I hate glasses on all day.
I have to try bifocal lenses next time I go to the eye doctor, and ask my optometrist if it is time to start correcting my astigmatism. I'm grateful for this Q&A as I was curious yet felt timid about inquiring. I have glasses, and though they aren't as painfully uncomfortable as those I had before getting contacts in 8th grade, I do prefer contacts. I stitch bare eyed without glasses or contacts as I'm quite nearsighted. I can stitch with contacts and readers, and sometimes even look through the magnifying lamp. Then it's like I'm a superscientist looking at my stitching! What a spectacle! 🧐 😂
Hey Shelly, can you please give me the name of the shop in the Netherlands were you've purchased your band fabric. I did not understand the hole name of the shop - stitches and ... Thanks and have a wonderfull 2024. Roberta
Thank you for an awesome as usual flosstube!!! Many years ago my dear mother tried to teach me how to crochet. At that younger age my stitching was too tight and I lost patience with it. Now she is no longer here to try again. Is there a beginners instruction book that you would recommend that I might use to try again? Merry Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family!! Hugs
There is a channel on UA-cam here called The Secret Yarnery Christa is a wonderful instructor As well as Daisy Farm Crafts- Tiffany and her daughter Hannah do amazing videos. These channels should really help and get you going.
I have come back to cross stitch after a long hiatus. Just learning that there is more than Aida. But I dont understand all the names of the new fabric. I understand the counts nd I think I understand the different dyes but there are so many names of the fabrics. Are they different types of materials used, different brands?????? What the heck! I live in a rural area with NO cross stitch stores around. The Attic and the Shepherds Bush are both about 8 hours from me in opposite directions. So thats a commitment. Am I the only one who doesn't undersrand whats going on with the fabric? Do you know of a flosstube that has explained the different fabrics that I could go watch? I could stick with Aida that I can get at Joanns but that is also about 75 miles away. We do have a Walmart just so you don't think I live on the moon. Suggestions would be appreciated.
Wow! I'm back again. I have lots to say to you today. Just watched you talk about how you don't like to put the stuff away and that is why you don't stitch seasonal things much. I'm just the opposite. I love stitching seasonal things because I can put it away and when I get it out again for the season I get all excited to see it again, like meeting up with an old friend. Isn't it funny how people look at thins so differently?
Picture this plus wren 40ct I ordered it from Shepherds Needles in Little Rock Arkansas You can call them and they’ll be glad to see if they have any in stock Or you could look online
Hi love watching your floss tube but I don’t know if it’s on my end but your video is like real small and when I zoom in it gets blurry. I’ve watched other videos on you tube s as nd no other videos are doing this. So don’t know if anyone else is having the same problem please let me know if anyone else is that reads this comment or Shellie if you know if it’s on your end thanks !!
Thank you Devetta- I believe it is on my end. My issues with filming were because I accidentally changed a setting somehow on my camera. I am checking to see if maybe my aspect ratio needs changed. I may have changed more than I know when I made the original mistake. I will definitely get it resolved before I film next.

Many Christmas Blessings to you and your family, Shellie.
Merry Christmas, Shellie,to you and your family. 😊❤😂🫂 from North Dakota .
Julie is the hardaner teacher Jane took the lessons
Realized I was calling them in reverse after I had already loaded the video, I apologize !
That blanket is stunning, I don't crochet, but I definitely wish I did ❤. Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year 🎅
Loved your video. The Home for Christmas loved it is a cross stitch pattern or flag need more information.
It’s a card from Teresa Kogut
Check her Etsy shop and website- she gave me it at a retreat but I’m sure she sells them
I related to your words regarding seasonal stitching.
I am always so happy to see a new flosstube from you, thank you! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas, Shelli! Loved this video. My very favorite stitching is Christmas stitching and I do some all year long! It always gives me warm fuzzies inside❤
Merry Christmas, Shellie! Hope you have a wonderful time with your family.
Kari is how I found your channel! She is so generous. What a beautiful soul
Thank you and Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Thank you
Another wonderful video, Shellie. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I enjoy stitching Christmas designs any time of the year-my favorite. Congrats to all of the winners. Pam Miller
Happy Holidays
Congratulations to all the winners! Happy Holidays everyone!
God bless you.💞
Thank you for another wonderful video. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Wishing you a very Merry & Blessed Christmas. Thank you for the gifts of stitching joy you bring with each video.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
Wonderful video Shellie! Congratulations to all the winners! Looking forward to the Christmas tour video!
Have a wonderful Christmas to you and your family!
I agree about the feel of lambs wool!
Can you please send me an email at antiqueneedleworkers@gmail.com I can email you from there as it would be too lengthy here
Congratulations to all the Winners! Wonderful Video, I’ll be doing a video over the weekend, have to share my Wipgo plans😊 Merry Christmas!❤❤❤
Hi Shellie I have a question. Where do you order your Roxy Bags from? I love your idea of putting multiple projects from the same designer in one bag. Please let me know. I would love to order some bags.

Merry Christmas!!
You mentioned you wear multi focal contacts. I’m on pair 8 to try. What brand do u wear?
I wear two different brands one for each eye. I have an astigmatism in my right eye on top of my vision issues so I have to wear a different kind in that eye .
The right eye is Bioginity Toric multifocal by cooper vision. And the left is aquaclear multifocal.
But they both are comfortable and I can see the best out of them.
This last go round we tried like 6 different kinds to see if I possibly use a different kind, mine are pricey- but nothing works as well for me.
I hope you find one that works for you. I do still have to pop on readers for small print I have topped out my prescription for my up cLose vision
So that will have to be the way things are from here on out unless I just wear my regular glasses. But I prefer my contacts because I hate glasses on all day.
That was supposed to say Biofinity
What brand yarn are you using and what red. It is so red, it is really popping.
I’m using Hobby Lobby I love this yarn. It is 40/ Red.
Can you explain doboast fabric? Thank you.
Can you give me more details of what you’d like me to explain, I’m not exactly sure what your asking
Hey Shelly, can you please give me the name of the shop in the Netherlands were you've purchased your band fabric. I did not understand the hole name of the shop - stitches and ...
Thanks and have a wonderfull 2024.

Hugs
There is a channel on UA-cam here called The Secret Yarnery
Christa is a wonderful instructor
As well as Daisy Farm Crafts- Tiffany and her daughter Hannah do amazing videos.
These channels should really help and get you going.
Thank you Sherrie!!! I will look them up!!
Hi Diane,
I will be certain to talk about the fabric differences next video for you!
Could you tell me the name of the fabric you used and where you found the fabric for House on Holley Hill please?
Picture this plus wren 40ct
I ordered it from Shepherds Needles in Little Rock Arkansas
You can call them and they’ll be glad to see if they have any in stock
Or you could look online
What’s the pattern name for the crochet squares the are darling
They are just simple granny squares
I'm sad I didn't win 😭🥺
Question: I'm having a hard time finding the Festive Friends blanket?
Which channel was that in again?

Merry Christmas! Go tell it on the Mountain that Jesus Christ was born 🎶
Merry Christmas!
Christmas is my favorite holiday too. I too hate putting them away y seasonal stitching but now I find even though I am sad when I put it away but then when I bring it back it is liking seeing and old friend and the excitment of seeing it again.
