Looking through old cross-stitch books and magazines has been such a joy for us these past couple of months. I gave all my new subscriptions of several years each to my daughter. My upstairs bed is covered with old plans, and I'm waiting for some organizational carts to arrive. Ohhh, Shelly, your Christmas hand crank sewing machine, refurbished so sweetly, is a beautiful show and tell! Thank you. Your hubby must have been as giddy as a silly 'ole goose when he both readied & presented that to you! What a dear, very rare man you have. Hold him tight and tell him thank you for helping to make you so happy to overflow all this love and encouragement to your viewers.
Im gonna tell you a funny story. When i was a child, i would walk to school, and this squirrel befriended me! Oh, it would watch and wait for me and run circles and dart at me and run sideways and back. I just knew God sent that silly little goose squirrel to cheer me up and keep me thinking about something lively, happy, and encouraging. Your videos are like that. Thank you again for your sweet friendship and keeping us all motivated in our healthy, healing, fun crafts.

She looks like a picture hanging in my living room of a Lady standing in roses with a brunette top bun on her head; & gloring in the wonder of Gods creation; that was left to me by a precious 2nd cousin when he passed. He knew I loved it & it made him think of me.
Just one of my special treasures God blessed me with here on this earth.

Just today I am watching your video and I about fell off my couch when I saw your sewing machine from your husband.
Yesterday I was watching an old Doris Day movie called "The Man Who Knew Too Much" 1956. In the movie Doris Day and James Stewart were on vacation in Morocco. They were going down a street and there were ladies sitting along the street sewing with these same sewing machines. There were about 15 little girls and ladies. But it caught my eye because their little arms were cranking that wheel around and around yet still sewing with their left hand the fabric into the machine. This is about 28 minutes into the video. Then this morning you are showing us your new (old) machine. I think your machine is much prettier. You are a blessed lady to have a great husband like you have.
