I love kindness as a word for the year. Bee and Liberty.
Shellie, I have to share about my pattern loss. I am a crocheter. My little sister saw a wedding dress in my magazine and commented that “that’s the wedding dress I want”. She was all of 13, but something made me order the pattern….7 yrs later, engaged, she asked if I remembered the wedding dress in the magazine. Why yes, and I have the pattern, so mom bought the yarn and I got busy crocheting, with the front done, and one sleeve done, the back up to the arm scythe done, I went looking for the pattern……..NO!…(my toddler daughter was fascinated with the flipper trash lid, and I decided that had to be where the pattern went). I couldn’t replace the pattern, so I got to figure out the finish….with lots of prayers, I was able to finish, she looked beautiful. I still remember that feeling. I have not lost a pattern in the last 40+ yrs. Love your channel

Another Lovely video. The grocery store is where I give a lot of service. People can't reaching items, bagging groceries for a moms with a crying babies that don't have a free hand, taking people in to buy a meal who are outside looking for help. My word (first word for me) is Intentional. Liberty and Bee. Thank you for sharing

Happy One Year Flossiversary! Really enjoyed watching today's video and looking forward to seeing lots of kitted up projects. Your granny square afghan is beautiful when it is finished. Thanks so much for explaining in detail about the Queen's City Guild. I will also be attending the Nicola Parkman retreat and am so excited as I have tried to get in one of her classes for three years. Lisa was so sweet to assist me since I live in SC. I would love the busy pouch. It caught my eye right away! My family calls my sweet 2 year old granddaughter BEE! Her name is Norah but when she was born her big brother (2 at the time), Jackson, called her beebee. We shortened it to 🐝 ! Love your show!
When I do some kindness for someone, I always feel so blessed . I gain so much more than the recipients. Like you I am usually up a couple of hours before the rest. Thats my favorite time of day. Ester, bee, ĺiberty

I haven’t knitted in about 25 years, I couldn’t believe how it automatically came back. Your finishes were beautiful! Loved all three charts Hester, the Bee and Liberty… I am stitching on “Ellis Holiday 1809”, Flight into Egypt such pretty colors and so much fun to stitch on these cold winter days. oh Shellie- so glad you were not hurt too seriously! Hopefully you will rest and feel better soon! Don’t feel bad- I didn’t fall and I still have my Christmas decorations up. I usually put them away slowly the month of January. The last thing to get put away is the tree. 😊 I like to enjoy all the pretty decorations for as long as I can🤪🥰. My word for the year is heal. I tore my ACL in November and am looking at surgery hopefully next month. They say it is a long, hard recovery as I am not a spring chicken. So I see a lot of stitching in my future. Love Hester and Liberty. I always enjoy watching your videos. Feel better!!!

Congratulations on your anniversary!! I’ve watched you since day 1 and really enjoy your beautiful stitching. I’m on board with kindness. Our oldest daughter won the kindest person award at school and we told her that one meant more to us than any other. ❤ Being kind is easy and I’m going to try and do more like you are. Oh no! I’m so sorry you had a tumble. So glad your injuries were not serious and that you are on the mend! Prayers for continued healing! I really like your word of the year and I think your idea to sprinkle it throughout your stitching and your house is wonderful! If you don’t mind I may copy you with my word “joy”, it’s already in several places but I’d really like to have some stitches with it. Hugs, sweet lady! With four kids under 17, I need to keep reminding myself I need to be intentional with my time, their time, activities, education, etc. Hester bee
I hope you are better soon. Neck injuries are a pain. I fell at work 22 years ago and ruptured a disc in my neck. Several surgeries later I was still in pain but after a cancer surgery in 2019 most of the pain is finally gone. So please take care of yourself. Your videos are always so enjoyable

For your 'material pocket' on the back of your planner...you might want to put stabilizer on the fabric to give it strength. You could even scan one of your finishes, or part of one, and print it on fabric (research that...) and use that as a fun fabric for your pocket! That planner is the best!!!! Hester has been on my list for a long time! When I watch your videos I always think "she and I were long distant neighbors!" (I grew up just over the river in Northern Ky, my mom workedin Cincy, I went to ballet in Hyde Park...and of course I love my Skyline chili!!) I live and work in central Florida and will one day wander back up that way again.Thanks for the video! Inspiring as always!

Happy flosstube anniversary! Loving your crochet blanket. My favorite hook was always the inexpensive Boye hooks. Now I’m a Clover Amour fan. I buy and try every hook that I see but I always go back to my Clover hooks. Hester liberty.
