Weakend or not, this fight should have been VERY one sided. Namor has been alive and fighting for nearly 500 years. To a 20 something year old princess he would have had more centuries of combat experience

It would have been one-sided if Shuri didn't have the power of the heart shaped herb. She is just as strong as T'Challa was when he was Black Panther. And she also knows the functions of the suit better than her brother, since she helps make them herself. Yes, she lacks a lot of combat experience, but as proven in several of these movies, that is not the only necessary component to win a fight.
@@Unversed333 Actually it is. Without the Jabari she has NO army. She maybe as strong as T'Challa with the herb, but could she fight him without it? No. Did she step into the ring to challenge her own brother for the throne AND mantle of Black Panther when all were accepted? No. She's a scientist, NOT a strategist, or a fighter. Did you know that in the comics Shuri actually WENT to the challenge and was intending to fight any man for the title and lost in place of her brother when a heavier opponent was tossed out of the ring and fell on her? THAT version of the character coulee dight, and gained with the same strategist that taught her brother aswel as captain of the Dora Malage. but this version couldn't fight without the herb. Namor is powerful from BIRTH, not because of anything added on to him.
I didn’t even remember this movie after seeing it in theaters. So forgettable

What would have happened Shuri killed Namor and then found a way to keep the world safe from the people of Talocan? What all could Shuri do to torture and get back at Namor, Could she show the world and destroy Talocan for her losing her mother?
What do you think T'Challa would have done against Namor and the people of Talocan if he was still around as the Black Panther? What would have happened if Ayo said it was okay for Bucky to come back to Wakanda so that Shuri could give him his White Wolf suit to help fight against Namor and the people of Talocan?
How come the Warriors of Wakanda are not using the same weapon Nakia used when she found Talocan and saved Shuri?
T'Challa was ready to kill Winter Soldier for thinking he killed his father, he wouldn't have hesitated to kill Namor for what he did
I guess the think that happened with tchalla was that he got to hear zemos side of the story and not be corrupted by vengeance. He learned that there is a lot more nuance and backstory to every situation. Idk if that’s the sitch in this movie, haven’t seen it
I agree it does seem a little convenient for the plot that the Wakandans are still engaging in hand to hand combat when they have the technology to one shot kill their opponents. Especially when Shuri initially started out with a blood vengeance mission.
Regardless-Shuri has a lot of work to do back in her lab. Like fool me once, Shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Now that she knows what’s lurking in the sea, we should expect all the wakandan boats in any sequels to have a kill switch where the sides of the boat and like a 100 meter radius around the boat will get such a surge of electricity that death is instantaneous even for low level meta humans.
Personally, I know this sounds effed, but I think Shuri should use her sample of the aquatic vibranium herb to develop some sort of targeted neurotoxin that can only act on the people of Talokan who had their dna altered by the aquatic herb and sort of keep that as a contingency kill switch that she could release Into the waterways of talokan as a last resort. I know it sounds bad, but it would be reminiscent of that classic DC storyline where Batman had top secret contingency plans in the event any members of the JL tried to destroy the world.
Like if Talokan ever effs around with Wakanda again, I hope they find out that Shuri has been busy designing dozens of lethal and effective countermeasures to protect her people or deter an attack against her nation.

If marvel doesn't show any injuries or blood it makes for a terrible fight. Everyone is evenly matched until the end of the movie. This is why your movies are terrible. Try taking some notes from spawn.
