Weird Al appears on the February 8, 1987 episode of Robert Klein time. He performs "Addicted to Spuds". It's interesting watching Robert telling Al how much he hates the accordion.

I’m pretty sure that whole album came out in ‘86, are you sure you posted the right year?

Yeah, it was Feb. 8th, 1987. I just checked the Robert Klein Time past schedule. The song was still relatively new being released October of the previous year.
