I know it's only a joke, but Disney, because of a bunch of BS, could legally strike you down for Trademark issues; Trademark law is separated from copyrights, and since Disney used their steam boat willy as a logo thing they can still end anything that tries to use it as brand recognition as it 'may confuse consumers for the real Disney'.
While the steamboat willy stuff is a big win, Disney still has too much control by abusing these systems.

About the only part of Mickey's design, other than shape, that you definitely can't use yet is his tan face. Even colored promotional images use a starkly white face, until Fantasia and that's 12 years from Public Domain.

Look, if I had to be the first person to use Source Filmmaker or Blender to animate Mickey Mouse (from the 1920s animated short Steamboat Willie, no relation to the Disney company), Minnie, and Pete banging, I would, but I don't know how to 3D animate so my hands are kind of tied here.

Actually you can use the red pants, there's a 1928 poster that had Mickey with red pants yellow gloves and brown shoes. He also has gloves in the intro card of Steamboat Willie.

According to the Mickey Mouse modern TV series, Minnie was once canonically obese.
I'm pretty sure at least some of this should be fair game actually.
-Mickey Mouse is named at the start of Steamboat Willie, as it's called a "Mickey Mouse cartoon".
-His first appearance with gloves was in the same year as his first appearance.
-And lastly, you should totally totally be able to give Mickey red pants so long as they are not the _exact_ red pants he's known for. (See Blood & Honey Pooh, who can wear a red shirt in a non-copyrighted style; namely a plaid button-up.)
