His name is Jesus. It's as simple as this, The Ten Commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke God's laws. Jesus paid the fine.
The fine is death.

That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy.

Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you.

It's really sweet (and even sadder) that Courage dreams of Eustace loving him. Not Eustace dying a horrible violent death or flipping roles where he gets to abuse Eustace, but just that the man he's trying to protect and look out for actually has affection for him.
Rest in peace, Grandma Goobus. She sounds like a great and caring person. I'm glad you had someone so supportive of your work and so sorry she's no longer with us. Much love from all of us. I absolutely adore Courage and this short is so accurate. I'm sorry for your loss Goobus, and I understand. This was the first Christmas I've had without my grandma too, and it's been a little odd. Seeing the dedication to yours made me tear up a little.

As someone who had to say goodbye to their dog earlier this month after 10 long years, I know all to well how hard it can be to lose a loved one. This was a lovely tribute to your Grandma and I sincerely hope that you had a wonderful holiday season Doobus. Heres to a great 2024!

I love Courage so much, he was my comfort character when I was little. I saw him in myself so much so many times. Episodes like "Perfect", "Mask" or "Remembrance" had a huge impact on my personal life.

My grandmother passed this December as well and she was one of the best people that I've ever known. She always saw the best in all and encouraged everyone to be the best they could be and was super understanding. I'm sure your grandmother did the same. Courage was such a big part of my childhood and I love how you drew him! Plus you imitated his vocal folly super well! and sometimes lions go for... testicles, which honestly that's the scariest one, i couldn't even begin to imagine being conscious and aware of everything while getting my nuts violently ripped off just before i get eaten the rest of the way, that's honestly what makes lions the scariest of the big cats, a lot of times they still go for the throat, but i think that's mostly with female prey

My condolences to you and your family Goobus. I was in your shoes once. I lost my grandpa 3 days before Christmas when I was 7. Sure that was over a decade ago now… But the holidays still aren’t easy, and they might never be easy. But I like to use that time to celebrate the person my grandpa was, and to celebrate with those close to me. Making new memories that will lasts for years to come.
You’re grandmother had great taste in humour and it is sad she isn’t with us now but you’re stuff always puts a smile on my face and I’m grateful to her for showing you that you’re great at making people happy ❤️
