The same thing happened to me with my swatch - dipped my paintbrush in and it came out super red/gray and at first I was like oh pretty...wait, I bet that just mixed in sleigh ride 😅 still really gorgeous even without the inadvertent mixing
I really like this one, a nice warm grey. I really enjoy grey inks, but they are so pen specific for me. When I did my writing test, I used my Pilot Iro-Utsushi dip pen and the results were great, nice and dark. But I know if I put this ink in most of my fountain pens, it would be too light for me. But my writing test on Midori MD paper with the dip pen looked really nice. I loved the look of it because it gives me that 1800's feel.
I have this one loaded up in a pen right now that has a generous medium nib. I loved the faint bit of green/brown that came through in the swatch, but in writing, I only see the gray. I have to agree with you. It's a nice color, but it's not something I'd want to buy a bottle of.
huh. not much one for greys but I'm here to write down the dupes for ya lol R&K Sketch Ink - Lilly (darker dupe) Deatramentis Document - Urban Grey Diamine - Muddy Puddle
That looks really nice! Gray-green-warm, I’m sure it can look different on different papers. Do you have dusted truffle to compare? (Didn’t see it in your Kokuyo)
I do have dusted truffle! I have it in the browns and didn't compare. So sorry! I think that Tundra is a bit darker than dusted truffle and a bit more grey, but they are similar.
I like todays color. I have compared it to Wearingeuls Anubis and my swatches look so identical, like twins. Only difference one has shimmer. 😊
Ooooo good to know!! I've had Annubis on my wishlist for a while hehe
@@mydandeliondiaries since I saw it in one of your videos I want to try Hades 😆
Loved this one too! Great variety from Diamine!! So worth it and we only on Day 16
Agreed! It may be "another grey" but at least we have some wild inks from the previous days haha

How fun! Thank you for sharing what you tested for the Midori!
Another great review, thanks! As a Kiri-Same fan, I like this one.
It IS a very Monday ink. Loved this vid, perfect start for my week!
Hahha I hope your Monday went well!

I think this one would be great for artistic purposes/painting over writing. But I'm glad to have a variety of colors :)
Same here.

I think it's agreat ink for drawing rather than for writing
Agreed!
