"Six Blade Knife" Mark Knopfler isolated guitar tracks!!!

So here we have a very dynamic style of lead guitar...
As always, mark here using his fingers.
The guitar tone here is achieved by putting the stratocaster pickup selector key on the second position (from lowest to highest), using the Orange Squeezer (it also can be the Dyna Mxr) compressor and a little bit of a specific reverb that has a spring on it's tank.
note:
For some of the lead parts (as the beginning of the first guitar solo) Mark kinda "scratches" the strings using his nails (all down strokes), which gives this very distinctive sticky sound.
