On this episode of @StateOfSoccer we were able to tour my hometown club, the Philadelphia Union. The Union play their soccer at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania. This stadium was made famous when in 2007 the Sons Of Ben, the main supporters group of the Philly Union, lobbied to bring a Major League Soccer franchise to the Philadelphia area.
Thanks to their efforts, the City Of Philadelphia, Delaware County, and many other contributors, the stadium would open for the Philadelphia Union's inaugural season in 2010. Since 2010 this stadium has changed names multiple times from it's original name as PPL Park to Talen Energy Stadium, and now finally it is known as Subaru Park.
I want to give a special shout out to the Philadelphia Union organization for allowing SOSTV to tour Subaru Park. I want to ask you to please subscribe, and hit the like button if you enjoyed today's stadium tour!

Beautiful Chester!!
Thanks for the kind words, Brian!!
These stadiums tours are so good, would to see some more 👀
Thanks man! I’ve done 4 so far, but there are plenty more to come!
Amazing episode as always!! Really enjoy these tours...keep it up! Can't wait for more MLS content
Thanks Guiseppe! I appreciate all of the support!
Red Bull Arena should be next!
What a beautiful stadium 🔥
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for doing the stadium tours. I've been to Dallas and Austin, and the setting for those two pale in comparison to Philly's setting, with river in the background. Can't wait to see where you take us on your next England tour.
Thanks Nicholas! How was Q2 Stadium overall?
@@StateOfSoccer I liked the Dallas stadium better. It's got the national soccer hall of fame (which I didn't visit). Parking is definitely better. The Q2 seemed a bit quiet. But, maybe it was just a quiet crowd. Of course, the Q2 has the awnings covering both sides, so that's nice shade in the Texas heat.
Philly going crazy this year I love it!!!
They really are! 4 matches with 6+ goals 🤩
@@StateOfSoccer I hope GG6 that's what I call (Dániel Gazdag) can really put his bid in before the end of the season for MVP this year. dude is going crazy this team is going up 4 TDs and extra point sheeeeesh!!!!
@@PR3M3 I could see it! So many pieces to this team that are tremendous. Hats off to the back-four though...seriously. Only given up 20 goals this season in 28 matches!!!
Ochoa also played there 👀🔥
That’s very true! I left off a lot of big names, tons of stars have come through there!
Love the soccer tours! Keep them coming!
Thanks Max! I appreciate the support man 👏
Hello from Wales! See you at the World Cup! Great videos!
Best of luck! See you there!
My favorite tour on SOSTV so far! Awesome work, what's next??
Stay tuned 👀
Great Video!!😊
My home! STM in section 109 and can confirm we stay dry during rain which has been a lifesaver this year since it's rained at some point during every home match this year. It's also nice that you do not have to deal with the sunsets!
Hi could you give me any advice on where to park coming from va and looks like there is no parking space available the game is on 8/4 thanks in advance

Lol. Not the actual supporters shield
I realized that like half way through my dialogue 😂 and just decided to run with it
@@StateOfSoccer word. Still a good vid tho.
Its was someones Capt America Shield cosplay gear that was cover in a Supporters Shield skin because the MLS didnt have the shield at the time to give to the union due to the COVID protocols that was going on
Terrible design. It’s far too open. The atmosphere will be leaking from every possible direction. Sound is like water and this is a leaky stadium. The old British stadiums are the bollocks for how a stadium needs to be to create unique atmospheres. New Premier League team Luton, their Kenilworth Road stadium holds 10,000 but sounds like 50,000 when she’s rocking. Lessons not being learned in America.
