Ronnie Cola I agree, too many people try to use Tenshin aikido so they can make money or try and make people believe they are the standard for it. sensei always told me his aikido is just Aikido. my dojo name was given to me by sensei to use...tenshin dojo...it's funny how so many people want to exploit it for their own gains and yet none of them have background or training with us. so sad...thank you for watching . where do you train at
I just wanna add on Sensei last words from 13:00.... people are bashing aikido because the practice are all like choreographed. My answer to that is... we cannot do real attacks because the faster and stronger the attack, the result is dangerous. it will cause injury. Believed me it because happened to us. We trained some policeman in the Philippines and there was this one police who's been practicing another art and he attacked our sensei by surprised and full speed and power, he ended up in the ER.
Your statement is only true if your aikido is not skilled. Your ukemi must be very good. we attack fast and hard. if you cannot defend against this then why train. its important to have this ability.

If the "TenShin" distinction is "Just aikido". Then why have you embarked on calling your TenShin Global aikido TenShin Global? In regards to this, how can it be both ways? Clearly, the one shared characteristic is that this particular application differs greatly from the classical aikido form. There is a much more practical and dynamic edge to it. If it's Just aikido, where is the reference distinction to this very noticeable difference from classical?

it's actually good to start with aikikai because they have more of the funtamentals of Aikido.
