You could have saved alot of time by simply using knifeless tape, you wouldn't need any templates. Just use the tape around the shapes, wrap and pull the tape for a perfect design. A heat gun would have also solved your problems with it lifting on curves and corners. You could have done this so much easier and faster with better results. I have vinyl wrapped cars, motorcycles, scooters, helmets etc that are way more complicated and never needed a template, just knifeless tape and a heat gun.
This is exaactly what I want to do to my bike! I have the same TCR and I'm already tired of that highviz yellow!!! How is it holding after a month? I tried painting it with plastidip but it would peel off immediately. I'm actually thinking about trying to take off the decals all together.
Alejandro Estela on mine there aren't any decals. Its all paint. The vinyl i used is a bit thick so very hard to wrap even with heat. I will do again with the thinner black vinyl. Its still holding up well though. Thanks
No I haven't because I now realize that they are not decals haha. I'm going to wrap the bike as you did but I'm going for completely wrapping the fork. Do you have a printable file for the downtube/headtube that you cutout?
IM doing this with mine. I have a Ridly LIZ.. A girls bike with pink accents. Im wrapping the mostly flat black bike, with the accents, in dull gold. So from flat black and pink to flat black and gold.
Terrible how to video, missing the key element... How to do it! Also use better vinyl and technique and it won't link up and will last way longer on bike.
My man, I began trying it like this, and then i discovered knifeless tape. It's made the procedure immensely easier
This is awesome! Thanks for posting your experience. It would be nice if you can share the documents, so we can print them and cut them as you did :)

Good effort, looks pretty good in those colours, TCR isn't a bad looking bike after all!
and now some supacaz oil slick handlebar tape
Came out looking way better than original.
Very nice. Now change the Giant to Specialized
Why? I have a Specialized roubaix expert now and I've owned Giant defy 1. Both are pretty good bikes!
How long did it last? Would you share / sell the template files?
Ah man I’ve been after that flou yellow model since it came out and could never get it in stock! I’ll buy your original bike! 😂👍🏻
Gonna do the back half of my steel single speed and part of the fork when my stuff gets here. Hope it doesn't turn into too huge of a pain in the ass.
where can Ii get that vinyl?

joderrrrrr. I will send you some information.
Zip tied a Stages PM to the NDS crank? Can we get a review on it?
Guy Hacon cadence probe
Complicated it for no reason. step 1. Put a paper over it and trace the lines. step 2. Cut the damn thing and repeat on vinyl. 3. Wrap it.
Knifeless tape all the way
I was planning on just removing the decals all together. Do you think that would work with a heat gun, squeegee, and some time?
Jaesuk Lee they're painted on. No decals on mine. But if you have decals and there's no clear coat on top yeh try a heatgun!
Interesting, I have the same bike, 2017 model and they're decals on my bike.
Have you tried removing them?

Justo lo que buscaba. Puedes enviarme el plano?
Your approach to the challenges was excellent. The advantage I had, was a wife who's the best at weird stuff and how to do it...
The choice of factory color schemes on the frames is questionable...
Should've just peeled the old decal off way easier
Hydro dip
Looks great!
Sometimes things don't work out. But I'm sure you learned a lot
Looks like Hong Kong !!!!!!!!!!
Hi what program are you using to edit your template? Thanjs
SolidEdge
