They need to modify the rules for who really takes home this award. Because as is he doesn't actually get credit for winning this with an Oscar at least. Sure most people will know he directed it but he stupidly doesn't get one. They need to make it so the director at least, but maybe even the writer(s), and main executive producer(s), get one along with the country. I really don't know where Germany is going to put this Oscar.. Like where do countries put them when they win? Some national museum or is it in their Capitol building or White House equivalent?
everyday is an international day here.. all applies.. the most commonly known are always mentioned here.. on my screen... think about it... these are the things they are always reminded of... and what they most likely pass on to others... they remind other people... this is why the information is kept CURRENT.. and why people do not move forward.. the memories we keep current.. is the history that we are all keeping present...
Lol imagine comparing a film that just talks about overthrowing a dictatorship compared to a film about the 2nd biggest war in history with some of the best cinematography. You guys are deluded.
India submitted a different movie ("Chhello Show", which is pretty good, too) that was ultimately not nominated. It was in the December shortlist, though, as were a bunch of other great films.
Great win
