The nesting tables were amazing and in such great shape! I do have to say, I love buying bowl or teapots missing their lid to repurpose with plants or for much prettier storage containers. So much more character than a round mesh pencil holder from an office supply store! Items still have so much more life and sometimes people need to see it done to appreciate! Fun haul Melanie!!❤❤❤
The nesting tables were so nice. I love baskets. That thrift store was super clean. Yes you should go back to this one! The thrift stores around here are really high with their prices. Enjoyed this video
So many of them have gotten so high 😩😩
I was going to ask if the nesting table were Rosewood. I have a set of three nesting tables in Rosewood that my parents bought when my father was stationed in the canal Zone in the 60s, and they had ordered all their furniture from Hong Kong . Mine don't have that beautiful carving however, they're more classically minimalist. Good find!
If rubbing alcohol doesn’t work on the marker, I’ve had luck with denatured alcohol. The denatured is also good on sticky residue and foggy glass.
I hope to start my own antique booth. Many of the items I have collected to start my booth are what I've seen in your videos. I'll keep you posted should I decide. Thank you. 😊
I can't fault the thrift store folks for using a marker to price, but I really do hate that. I bought a piece of wooden folk art with $2.00 in permanent marker on the back yesterday and in the past I've bought porous studio pottery like that. No luck getting it off those items. Thanks for the rubbing alcohol tip for glass, though!
Fun video! :)
Yeah, I wish they wouldn’t either! Sometimes I sand it off the base of wood pieces
Love the tables! Great find
Thanks so much!
Awesome !!!
... In the stores, just the right balance between "landscape" and "still life" film shots, so to speak.
... Just the right amount of "points of interest" on the close-ups, as they say in Montessori land. It may be obvious that an item in the thrift store is small and blue, for example, but I still want to hear it - there is something soothing about hearing it.
... Wonderful styling of the items. The dog, for example, was not interesting to me until you put it in the vignette. White pitchers are always so boring to me - I have the Eastern European taste for peasant designs and bold colors. But in the final vignette the white pitcher pulled together all the other items which had white colors in them. Amazing !
... Thanks for sharing. ☘
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
I actually have a set of nesting tables that are very similar. I didn't realize they were worth so much. They were given to me
Love your nesting tables!
Thanks Jean!

Wonderful finds. Thanks so much for sharing
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
GREAT find!!
Thanks Jimmy Ray :)
The wooden castle was a whisky decanter holder, the little drawers held shot glasses. My aunt had one.
Really?! That’s awesome, I’m so glad to know that. Thanks for sharing
Great finds.
Thanks Lisa!

Nice informative video. I always like learning about these items. Do you think you would paint those nesting tables with Fusion Mineral Paint, or would that negatively affect their value?
Hi Ann! No, I wouldn’t paint these, I do think it would significantly hurt their value
Very cool! What is that type of Asian pottery called??
Thanks! They have a lot of different names… but the general time for Asian inspired decor with a European twist is chinoiserie. There are Rose Medallion pieces, famille rose pieces, famille verte, bok choy, lots of names depending on the specific style of the pottery piece
Stacking tables always sell quickly for me but I don’t ever pay that much for them. I usually pay more like $30.
$30 would have been nice too!
@@LostFoundDecor If you can double your money your still doing good and it’ll probably be a quick sale. They’re really pretty!
In what town was the flea market?
The flea market is Top Drawer Flea Market in Springdale
@@LostFoundDecor Thank you!
Is the majority of your income from selling Fusion? I've been shopping for a booth and can't see how someone can make money from just a booth. Thanks so much!
That’s a tough question to answer… Yes, I do multiple revenue streams, which includes selling Fusion :) “Make money” means something different to everyone also. Some people have a booth as a hobby, some people want just a few hundred dollars each month as “fun money”, some are looking to supplement retirement income, some do look to take it to full time income level. To get to that level, you do typically have to do more than Just a booth… but again it depends on your goals, where you sell, what you sell, etc :)
@@LostFoundDecor Thanks for the reply. Yes I see all options, and I know each situation has many variables. It seems one would have to have a store room full of goods to make full time income with just a booth alone of course in a good location. I sure wish your boot camp was still available. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us.
I hope you don’t paint them.
I did not and do not plan on it :)
