Karen I have not been watching your videos in the order that you videotaped so I binge watch … and I just love to watch … but I saw the one where you talked about being bullied and I’m so sorry … KAREN KNOW YOUR WORTH!!! And I’m gonna just leave that right there … we love you and we THANK YOU for ALL your hard work you put into your job daily especially taking US with you 💜♥️💜
You and The Crazy Lamp Lady shop the same goodwill. It's like deja vu seeing you both touch and pass by the same items. I really like the voice over on your shopping videos!
I agree! She speaks so precisely and her voice is soothing. I like watching the young resellers to but there squeals of excitement is sometimes to much. But then I'm older so there's that.
I love the story you shared from your childhood about “Beth”! How sweet! I enjoyed your thrift haul! I, too, enjoy sharing what I find. I love getting a good deal and finding “new” treasures.
I really enjoyed watching this and gaining useful knowledge on reselling! Also, there is just something special about how you’re intentional with your choices, the voice over and again giving tips that made viewing this relaxing!
Thank you for sharing these videos with us...I've learned so much from you! I'm especially thankful that you video these shopping trips and the actual video is SO smooth!!! I get carsick easily and can't usually watch these type of videos...but yours are excellent! Thank you!!!!! ❤️
I’m so insanely jealous of how packed the shelves are at your Goodwill. I’ve been begging my buddy Matt to take me to his hometown in PA & go on a weekend thrifting adventure.
Crazy Lamp Lady was there this week too. I love when you guys show some of the same stuff :) As I am watching I think you went there before her. It is interesting seeing you both pickup some of the same items and put them back or seeing you put something back that she decided to pick. Thanks for your channel. I enjoy watching and learning as I am starting to resell. I am a 50+ year old massage therapist of 25 years and my hands hurt. I chose to resell because like you I love the hunt for treasures. Thanks again.
@@kimarellano3791 I noticed the same thing and was going to comment and see some of you already commented. I believe Karen was there before Jocelyn and Andrew as they picked up some things Karen didn't. Karen picks up some of the more modern pieces that Crazy lamp lady team doesn't. I think it's awesome to see how different people that go to the same shop pick up different things.
It's always fun going shopping with you! I saw some things I would have picked up but you didn't and things you picked up that I would not have. I guess if you take 20 different resellers shopping we would all find something different and that's why this job rocks there is enough to go around and enough difference in each others tastes and opinions that someone in the ebay world will find something they like....Thanks for sharing Karen! You rock!
I loved the needlepoint that starts out something like the sun rise up to meet you. My dear dear mother in law used to say that all the time. She was Irish/Scottish and I think that is an Irish prayer. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Karen.... I loved Dolly Darlings! I've just started selling on ebay and just sold the one Dolly Darling I had as a child. Time to downsize! Love your videos, learning lots....thanks!
It was very funny watching this video. The Crazy Lamp Lady on You Tube was in the same store and released a video a day or so ago, picking up and looking at many of the same items you were considering. She obviously left them behind as well. Loved the bag of poodles. Who doesn't need a big sack full of poodles! lol
Cameras are my specialty. The camera looks like a Pentax K1000. A great mechanical and reliable camera. If you turn the crank and press the shutter button and it fires chances are it is working fine. The only electronics are the meter and if the lens cap is missing the battery is probably dead since it is "always on." The lenses if they are Pentax too are very good quality and sought after. You could definitely make good money off of that. The K1000 was the student camera if probably every photography school from the 70s till they were discontinued in the late 90s. Funny enough for such a simple and common camera the prices are only going up. 10 years ago they were going for 40 now many are north of 100.
Karen, just excellent. I learn so much from you. I am also getting away from small profit items, trying for better quality finds! Thanks so much for your videos
your voice is so soothing. I'm glad this was recommended to me while i'm at work. it's fun to just listen and watch & feel like im there with you! you are lovely :)
Such a sweet story. I have a master's degree in clothing and textiles. When I was teaching a class at our university I took my childhood Story Book Doll for an illustration about how our past molds our life later. It was a very frilly and feminine doll which is my style but the students kept whispering. Finally, I asked them what was up and they said "Miss Sherry - that doll looks exactly like you!" Somehow I never noticed -my hair, my face, my size, my clothes - everything.
I am the same way with spiral notebooks! I do architectural research for a living and I do all my research on line by hand, millions of notes, thousands of architects and buildings. Those back to school sales are great for cheap supplies!
You are my thrifting idol! Always excited when you have a new video! Love your calm voice and your giggle. Makes me smile, like a best friend. Don’t ever stop! I can’t believe the cool things you find there. Central IL does not compare!
I always think that too. There seems to be such great stuff in Pennsylvania and so reasonably priced. Where I am from, they are often priced high and you have to ask for a discount.
Jey Karen, Joslyn from the Crazy Lamp Lady purchased that bowl you passed on. She has like 12 bids already and its up tp 39.00 with 2 days to go. When you passed on it I said to myself, Oh Joslyn would have picked that up, and low and behold shes already selling it in her ebay store. Love your Channel. If im ever in PA I would love to thrift with you.
My theme for the year is “use what you have” or let it find another home. I have a huge collection of vintage everything that is about to find new homes and keeping or acquiring only what I use or absolutely love. Your wonderful video finally encouraged me to get started and set up my ebay/etsy/poshmark sites. Can’t seem to find your ebay store? Will search again. Maybe before I go looking for new I should use your great advice about what I already have lol! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love this video! I think you may be in the same thrift store as another reseller I watch because things were looking similar and then I saw several items on the shelves that they picked up!! It's a small world after all :) I have always thrifted but since I found your videos, they inspired me to start reselling. Thank you!
These videos are wonderful. Not only is your voice relaxing but I love hearing all of your knowledge about these fun items! Thanks for taking the time to record and voice over. Keep it coming!
Your shopping videos are the absolute best! I love your calm, professional over voice! I did see a few things another seller picked up, I think you probably left them due to the low selling point and they were fragile. ❤️.
@Elizabeth BrowerI was born in 64...I know the war was devastating...I put the thumbs up...because I love the style and music of the 60s...It wasn't a political statement🙄
I love your little doll! Compliments to you or your daughter for adding music without it being too loud or drowning out when you are talking. It was a nice touch.
I could watch you go through those aisles for hours, so interesting. We don't have anything like those kinds of shops in Ireland. Charity shops here tend to be fairly small & no where near the variety of stock. Looking forward to your next "shop with me" video☘️
LOVE LOVE your vlogs. I always watch looking to see if anything is missed that I would have picked up and this was the 1st one I’ve watched that I saw something. I keep telling you to go back, go back but you continued on....lol 😂😂
Amazing...I remember those dolls, I played with them but I had long forgot the name of them....Im thrilled you showed the doll and now I know the name again....they were such cute dolls. Love your shopping videos
Thank you for being such a thorough and discriminating shopper. You are teaching me to be on the lookout for those things to say YES to and the borderlines to so NOOOOO! to. Your vids are excellent, my favorite thrift shopping trips I take with you. Blessings.
I had to laugh when you straightened those votives. I do that all the time as well as put things together that I think should be. The other day I ran into my good resale buddy and instead of quickly going through the store and home we were very naughty and ran out to another resale store where I found some awesome vintage curtains to sell which one lot sold within two hours for very good money!! Woohoo. It was meant to be. Some nice finds here!! The frog glasses would have go in my cart! Couroc makes some cute whimsical things, mostly bar ware trays.there is a matching companion frog Couroc tray listed on eBay for $95 now 😉
Hi, Karen. I really enjoy your show. Your goods are well-chosen; you're decisive; honest; and a pleasure to listen to. FYI...The wooden cat you picked up is hand-made in Indonesia. The wooden aboriginal man you didn't pick up, is made there, as well. They are fairly popular items in import stores and do not cost much to buy. 😀
Karen, I believe that the photograph of the soldiers and young people with flowers is from the time of the fall of the Berlin wall. I remember watching it on TV. Fun shopping video. I think we can all agree that "the hunt" is the best part of reselling. Thanks for bringing us along.
I’m watching all your old videos while I ship and it’s crazy I found that same brass celestial sand hourglass thing at the bins here in Denver. You are right it did have the glass piece inside.
I saw someone talk about your channel on one of Crazy Lamp Lady's videos and decided to check you out. I'm so glad I did! Your voice is so soothing and your content is great. You're now one of my favorite UA-camrs!
Omg , I love this goodwill store. You sure did hit the jackpot today 👍🏼👍🏼 . Good for you. 👍🏼 I need to start going to the goodwill stores. 😍 beautiful stuff.😍

Otherwise our carts would’ve been identical! Love the information you gave me on brands and such. You panned the area slowly and not a dizzying speed which is the norm in some videos. I loved your peaceful voice throughout. Such a relaxing 45 minutes. Well worth the time spent!
The needlework you picked up is counted cross stitch. Nice! I know what you mean with shipping the breakables. “I yie yie.” I too am trying to get away from too many breakables.
I'm overwhelmed just looking at your haul. It must take you forever to check out and unpack everything. Please do a video on what you do when you get home with all that stuff. Thanks, Karen.
Jocelyn has a niche. She leaves a lot of things behind, or doesn’t even look at, a lot of things that Karen would buy. And definitely stuff that I would buy!
On the frog glasses I saw the word curoc saw a glass piece at my local thrift store yesterday didn't buy it but wondered about the name did not look it up. Enjoy your videos 🙂
One of my first finds were 2 pair of Allen Edmonds black/ white & brown/white oxford formal shoes $8 each & perfect ! Men's shoes are my FAVORITE thing in clothing category .
I really enjoy your videos and learned a lot from them. I wish you would do a video on alternative storage methods ideas for inventory and small spaces.
just found your video i have been flipping for a bit now and i just quit my ft job a few months back i love working for myself this is so fun paid to shop i love it
I enjoy watching these so much.....I can't stop or stand long enough to shop a whole store any more😔 I find myself looking so hard at everything on the shelf.....🤭🤭🤭....."of that's nice...YES! Do buy that one. That will definitely sell...😊"
Hey Karen love ur channel and ur presentation ... Its simply shopping without the over kill analytical stuff that is fast becoming the norm for some of the resellerrs i follow keeping it simple works thank u from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Your voice is so sweet and soothing. You must calm everyone you meet!
😂😂😂 I was going to type the exact same thing.
I like the recycled boot leg turned into a vase. How much?
Your voice is so calm; feels like I’m in heaven.
"I could be wrong about that" is my absolute favorite thing about you and why I keep coming back to watch every single video. 🌷😊🌻
I love the simplicity of ur uploads some resellers are getring too technical..
Some people jist love the shopping and duscovery
Karen I have not been watching your videos in the order that you videotaped so I binge watch … and I just love to watch … but I saw the one where you talked about being bullied and I’m so sorry … KAREN KNOW YOUR WORTH!!! You and The Crazy Lamp Lady shop the same goodwill. It's like deja vu seeing you both touch and pass by the same items.
I really like the voice over on your shopping videos!
I saw that as well and mentioned it. How ironic huh!
Me too! Great fun.
It's kind of like when you used to see characters from one tv show on another.
Make that me three
You're so pretty and well spoken. So nice to listen to and learn from. Inspirational too! Thank you for sharing and brightening the day.
I agree! She speaks so precisely and her voice is soothing. I like watching the young resellers to but there squeals of excitement is sometimes to much. But then I'm older so there's that.
The frog glasses were a nice find. Couroc glassware is harder to find than the trays and usually sells well for me.
I love the story you shared from your childhood about “Beth”! How sweet! I enjoyed your thrift haul! I, too, enjoy sharing what I find. I love getting a good deal and finding “new” treasures.
I could spend 8 hours in a Goodwill with this much stuff 😍 Tha is for taking us along!
Nothing better than going thrifting with you on a crazy stormy Saturday morning. I love these videos, thank you.
I really enjoyed watching this and gaining useful knowledge on reselling! Also, there is just something special about how you’re intentional with your choices, the voice over and again giving tips that made viewing this relaxing!

I loved this shopping trip with you. So many tips, suggestions and ideas given, thank you 😊 and you got some really nice things for resale too.
I’m so insanely jealous of how packed the shelves are at your Goodwill. I’ve been begging my buddy Matt to take me to his hometown in PA & go on a weekend thrifting adventure.
The recycled boot is amazingly unique!
I really liked that as well. The leather was beautiful

Treasured_finds1365 yes that way everyone gets a bite at the cherry 😁
I saw the onion and said wait , Crazy lamp lady was just there, so funny
Lol!! I was thinking the same thing!!!
The Pentax K1000 is the first camera most students start with when film cameras were in. They still are great for those who want to learn.
Hi ! Karen, just love these videos when you shop at Goodwill, like to see what you pick up---its also very relaxing!!

I remember them. I had one when little, and ended finding the same one years later, too. Still have that one 💕

Cindy Villa thanks so much!💜💜 yes to best friends! 😁
Thanks for taking us along!! I gravitate to wood, orange and brown😁
Myself, my Mother, and Grandmother all collect antiques. Mostly large furniture, flow blue china, and I love milk glass 🌺
You always find the good stuff! I’m going thrifting today! Wish my luck, ladies!!!!!
That definately was a paperweight. I collect all kinds. Enjoyed this video so much. The mind of Karen Ebay seller.💗

That orange with daisy mesh is a food tent to protect food from insects. Generally used at picnics. It's quite contemporary.

I love hearing your thought processes on what you are and are not picking up. Thank you oh and love the nice background music of your video

The man putting a flower in the rifle, that’s a reprint of a famous photo of Vietnam War protesters.
It started the Flower Power movement👍

Someone has to put politics in everything!!!
From the Kent Massacre era.. Sadly..
The chickens and quilts handwork was done in counted cross stitch on aida fabric. And THANK YOU for doing this kind of video. I'm learning a lot!
Since 4 years you can see the many changes in Goodwill & we are missing Roger during that time! So are you!!!!
It's funny to see the same things that Crazy Lamp Lady looked at this week too. She picked up alot of what you did too.
christina edwards and bought them 😁
Karen, you’re voice is so sweet & soothing! You are so knowledgeable, and you’re my fav to watch! 😉💗
You were right about the fedora, it was very cheaply made. My father wore one all the time and his were beautiful. Love watching you!
The English teapot was beautiful. Four or five cups would be just fine!
I liked that seashell! Different!
I love your little doll! Compliments to you or your daughter for adding music without it being too loud or drowning out when you are talking. It was a nice touch.

Seeing that doll again made me remember that I used to have one as well… which makes sense since my name is Beth too! ☺️
So many great finds! Love your channel. 👍
Thank you for being such a thorough and discriminating shopper. You are teaching me to be on the lookout for those things to say YES to and the borderlines to so NOOOOO! to. Your vids are excellent, my favorite thrift shopping trips I take with you. Blessings.
Karen, you did a great job here. Camera shots were good and you moved at just the right speed. Also by always learn so much from you.
Karen your amazing! Love your videos thank you so much for making them 💕

I want to say yes to your skin care routine. You look amazing!!

The wooden aboriginal man you didn't pick up, is made there, as well. They are fairly popular items in import stores and do not cost much to buy. 😀
Yes it was a paper weight and a style popular in the 1900s -1920s.
I'm amazed that your Goodwill allows returns!!
Many do.
7 days
First time watching one of your videos - truly enjoyed the experience and plan on checking out more. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Really enjoy your videos. You make make laugh!!
love it! Continue doing these videos ! And please do explain why you left behind and what caught your attention !
Karen, I believe that the photograph of the soldiers and young people with flowers is from the time of the fall of the Berlin wall. I remember watching it on TV.
Fun shopping video. I think we can all agree that "the hunt" is the best part of reselling. Thanks for bringing us along.
I always enjoy your videos on thrifting. You have great taste for quality items not junk like so many thrifters.
I’m watching all your old videos while I ship and it’s crazy I found that same brass celestial sand hourglass thing at the bins here in Denver. You are right it did have the glass piece inside.
I love old vintage bowls. Scratches add character.
So much for sharing so many awesome things when you were out shopping today thank you again
What a sweet gift from your girls. I still have my teaparty kiddle doll. It came with a cup and saucer, but I only have the saucer.
I saw someone talk about your channel on one of Crazy Lamp Lady's videos and decided to check you out. I'm so glad I did! Your voice is so soothing and your content is great. You're now one of my favorite UA-camrs!

That is exactly was my comment!!
Yes i think she bought the salt and pepper shakers at the 8 minute mark!
I thought I saw some of those items before. Thanks for telling us.
I saw the same thing! especially when the carnival ride came up.
Must be a race to the goodwill to see who can get the good stuff first!
I am so amazed because I had that same little dolly darling doll and I am about the same age as you, born in ‘61 AND also a full time reseller! I am a new subscriber, just found your videos and am enjoying your content. I sell both clothing and collectibles, and started in ‘03.
I enjoyed your video very much. You allowed me to shop with you. There was a few items I would’ve got that you didn’t and a few items you picked up that I wouldn’t have. Otherwise our carts would’ve been identical! Love the information you gave me on brands and such. You panned the area slowly and not a dizzying speed which is the norm in some videos. I loved your peaceful voice throughout. Such a relaxing 45 minutes. Well worth the time spent!
Love going shopping. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🙏🇨🇦
First time watching enjoyed your style of shopping, informative, no music, soft voice! 😊
I want those duck bookends !!! Gorgeous
The needlework you picked up is counted cross stitch. Nice! I know what you mean with shipping the breakables. “I yie yie.” I too am trying to get away from too many breakables.
How sweet. I’ve never seen Garnet Hill children’s sheets but I have done well with their linen pillow cases and fabric shower curtains. 💚🦋
I'm overwhelmed just looking at your haul. It must take you forever to check out and unpack everything. Please do a video on what you do when you get home with all that stuff. Thanks, Karen.
I cant believe that Goodwill has enough stuff for you and Jocelyn to both keep finding so many things!
Fat Bird Finds there are so many resellers shopping in all the thrift stores! 😁
Jocelyn has a niche. She leaves a lot of things behind, or doesn’t even look at, a lot of things that Karen would buy. And definitely stuff that I would buy!
I've never seen a haul video done like this.... very nice. Thank you!
On the frog glasses I saw the word curoc saw a glass piece at my local thrift store yesterday didn't buy it but wondered about the name did not look it up. Enjoy your videos 🙂
I am from Michigan and your selection in the East is so much better then at our goodwills. WOW! It would be so fun to pick at your stores.
One of my first finds were 2 pair of Allen Edmonds black/ white & brown/white oxford formal shoes $8 each & perfect ! Men's shoes are my FAVORITE thing in clothing category .
I’m really enjoying your channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. 😄😄😄
Watching you shop is my Fave!!

Came across this vid somehow.
Several items you put back I was screaming ," Wait ! I want that !"
