I’ll dicuss how I like to reset and embrace the new beginning through minimalism and simple living & How I organize and declutter my home while living alone.
The term a "spring clean" couldn't be more apt for this time of year. As we transition into the new season there is no better time to embrace the opportunity for a fresh start by decluttering our physical space. The process of decluttering goes beyond just getting organised and getting rid of things within my space. I find the process to so beneficial mentally and mark the transition to a new season within my life, that brighter days are ahead. I think it can be easy for us to feel lost in life when we're so busy but the process of decluttering and preparing for a new season has shown me that there is always chance to change things up, reinvent myself and start a new chapter.

I always do a declutter/cupboard clean out starting January time. This then leads into my spring clean of my house, each room having a thorough clean...takes me longer than it used to nowadays (age) but I'm getting there😊

Thank you for a lovely and inspiring video. I also enjoy a little redecorating this time of year. Sometimes just moving decor pieces into other rooms or spaces makes you feel like you've bought something new without spending a dime. 😊
I like that idea a lot! A little reshuffle can make a space feel “new” in that sense without having to make any purchases☺️ Change can be very powerful even when if it is just in something small✨
Since watching your videos I do little de clutter on daily basis by taking out 30 mins and I SWEAR IT REALLY FREES ME AND CALMS ME

Holly you’d be proud of me while going through all that stuff from Christmas till now I did a ton of decluttering , organizing and cleaning so I’m a little ahead of schedule for once and it was a great way to keep me motivated and feel a sense of accomplishment during this time….even though I’m a lot like you I love hearing your perspective on things and you always have the best tips but what I love the most Is you make sure every video has a deeper message about life and again everything from picking the music to the gentle sound of your voice brings a experience of peacefulness to me when watching your videos…. Hey Holly [it's Promising Study Essays, yes, I changed the name], thanks for all the suggestions. It can be overwhelming to start cleaning. I also find that when I'm in a new space, I'm constantly retrying and reconfiguring my new room using organizational ideas, until I find something that works.

Such a lovely video Holly, tulips are my favourite! I do similar with storing clothes under my bed but use vacuum bags to save space (I have summer and winter vacuum bags, although I would really like to do a proper wardrobe change over as I tend to leave lots of wintery bits in there as I feel the cold so much!) I’ve been doing a declutter here and there and I find working on it part by part helpful depending on how much time I have that day, so it might just be a shelf or it might be a whole chest of drawers! Breaking it up feels manageable :) happy spring to you and anyone reading!
Great idea! I have been meaning to try vacuum bags to really maximise storage so will have to give them a try if you recommend🙂 I agree, sometimes it can feel like a mammoth task doing it in one go and breaking it up also leads to little accomplishments each day!☺️ Happy spring to you too!🫶✨
I just love Spring and Autumn. Right now I just can’t wait for the sun to start shining and some higher temperatures. Got tulips as well (always love flowers in my home) and think they really belong in Spring. Decluttering is something I do all year round and still have a few rooms to do this year, but I just love to get rid of stuff.

Would love to see a video on ways to re invent yourself, I'm going through that stage at the moment as I've realised my life hasn't really progressed or changed for a couple of years now. It's harder to think of ways to change than I thought it was going to be! ❤

Definitely spring is sort of reborn of everything nature so we follow it alongside and need to change something and wake up from the greyness of the winter so why not start at the wardrobe good idea. ✌️

A lovely vlog today, hope you have had a lovely Easter weekend. With tulips pop a 2p coin in the water and it keeps them from dropping so much. Mine all stay upright and seem to last longer I just change the water.
A big declutter tomorrow and spring cleaning the kitchen and lounge, it'll feel amazing afterwards and so good to give everything a freshen up.

@@lagomholly it was a beautiful Easter, family, food and time to relax and potter in the garden and in the house. I don't understand why however it works and I bought my tulips 2 weeks ago and they are still upright and beautiful. If you find out why it works be interested to know.

Yes spring is the season for renewal. In the new year I reflect on the previous year but its usually in the spring when I implement changes. I live in a warmer climate so my warmer garments have been put away for about a month now and I did a huge declutter right after that. I have been doing a lot of digital decluttering this weekend.

Love the new video Holly :-) the flowers are so nice and go well with your top and the general decor of your house. I agree just as the earth has it's seasons, so our lives have seasons. In winter it seems like everything is dead, but really things just die to be born again with new life, and in Spring we see those things are even more beautiful than they were before. Winter is not the end, it just means a new beginning is on the horizon. I really love how you put on this video "How to embrace a new beginning" so beautifully put. This whole video has a very refreshing feel/vibe about it.. perfect for Spring (even though it's Autumn here in Australia lol) perfect motivation for a fresh start :-)
