- When Louis Winsberg first picked up the guitar, little did he know of the revolutions he would go through that would change him into the man and musician he is today. Winsberg shares valuable lessons learnt through his musical journey, and why he thinks that Jazz is the passport to the world. He quotes that "fortune favors the bold" and he believes that a revolution is about discovering, learning and sharing.

Louis Winsberg began playing the guitar with a group of gypsy friends at the age of 12, forming the group Los Reyes, which would later become the Gypsy Kings.
In 1981, Los Reyes completed their first recording, and two years later, Louis won the first soloist prize of the Concours National de la Défense. Since then, he has become a prominent figure in the French music scene, playing with artists including Antoine Herve, Eric Le Lann and Mike Stern. In 2008, Louis received a Django D’Or.
Louis has formed a variety of groups. Amongst these are the “Sixun Group”, which recorded 9 albums, “Jaleo”, a multicultural project, and “Douce France”, a group that plays instrumental covers of popular French songs. This year, he has released the third album with Jaleo, “For Paco”, which will be followed by a European tour.

I loved every second of this. Perfect blend between jazz and flamenco. More jazz than Paco de Lucia and even McLaughlin and Di Meola I should say. Brillant!

Louis Winsberg is an amazing, multi-dimensional guitarist/composer. He deserves much more recognition on this side of the Atlantic. On par with John McLaughlin, Mike Stern, Eric Johnson, Pat Metheny, etc. In fact, he's crossed/mastered more genres than any of the aforementioned guitarists! Check out his work with the World Jazz ensemble Sixun. Then listen to his work with his Flameno-oriented ensemble, Jaleo.

Damnée faut avoir envie de jouer devant ce public frigide bravo pour le talk en tout cas
dorénavant il va falloir s'y habituer. ted x c'est une chaine d'enculés rêvant de réussite financière et de start up avec les amis de la meritocratie macronique.
On te croit sans peine à voir leurs mines de constipés et leur incapacité à ressentir quelque chose d'humain !!
