- Damn 😭 John Cena killed it in this scene!
Set after the events of the film (The Suicide Squad), the series follows jingoistic killer Christopher Smith / Peacemaker as he joins "Project Butterfly", a black ops squad that targets extra-terrestrial parasitic butterfly-like creatures.

I love that through the whole show Peacmaker doesn't kill anyone. Just horrible injuries and struggles with killing people after Rick Flagg, but when he finally does it, he kills the one person who deserves death more then the rest...his own father
He killed butterflies

Vigilante is a genuine sociopath; he literally can't tell when someone is experiencing human emotions....
I think it's moreso autism/a lack of a social life that lead to him being a sociopath or something along those lines. He seems genuinely incapable of feeling emotion, and that doesn't seem by choice. He doesn't care enough to feel them, and he didn't naturally feel them in the first place.
Nah man bro just has low empathy, he probably on the spectrum.
Sociopaths are know to be manipulative without necessarily bad intents. Vigilante is a downright psychopath. 😂
@@TeamNolex Vigilante doesn't have bad intentions though. He just doesn't know right from wrong, or care to know.
@@CheetahNotHacker that is true. Anyway, sociopaths tend to be emotionally intelligent, while Vigilante is the opposite. Maybe Vigilante just doesn’t fit into any of these definitions.

I'm so glad that John Cena was able to prove his critics wrong about his acting ability. Outstanding show, and this is coming from someone who didn't like The Suicide Squad (2021).
Just curious, why didn’t you like it?
@@maddiefr5437 I didn't like how they got rid of or killed off any of the actual comic Suicide Squad members so Gunn could do his D-List villain Guardians thing (except Harley, cause she's DC's cash cow, and King Shark, who barely resembles his comic counterpart in favor of just being a combination of Drax and Groot.) I didn't like how the visuals looked like somebody dropped a 10 ton bag of flour on set. I didn't like how they replaced Deadshot with a phoned in knock off character played by a sleepy looking Idris Elba.
Just my opinion, of course.
@@TheMovieDoctorful I respect this opinion, and really really disagree with it. It was a bit James Gunny for my taste, but it was much better than this show imo. There was really something great and audacious about it
@@maddiefr5437 as a Marvel > DC fan it wasn't bad but could've been done better... just my opinion (I'm no critic) it feels like marvel took some time to perfect their movies and it just feels like DC pushed the movie into the theaters as fast as they can

This wasn't the final episode, but this scene made it the most cathartic.
In terms of taking chances with their roles, going for drama as well as comedy, and playing characters and not just projections of themselves, John Cena and Dave Bautista are blowing The Rock out of the water.

I love that movie
Lol true
I feel sorry for Peacemaker, his life was awful. True he was a jerk, but seeing the show would reveal why he was like this. Hopefully, he can make amends for his past after the season 1 finale.
it's a character development. he did have to spend 5 months recovering in the hospital which gave him a lot of time to think and reflect. specially when he killed Flag whom he admired a lot even calling him sir.
For me is really an average American person life at his age XD
Best moment in the show
Also vigilante calling back to the gaps in the armor
YES! I didn’t realize he called back the gaps in Whit Dragon’s armor until I rewatched the season again!
Vigilante is pretty kool in this show , yea he called it out when peacemaker visit his father house
And yet Peacemaker laughs at Bloodsport having an abusive father
Bro they really shifted his character and nerfed his powers as well in this compared to suicide squad
@@abhinavvarshney2350 wasn’t that the point tho
@@abhinavvarshney2350 I mean that's the point. He's completely full of shit. His entire identity is around the one his father forced him into having. This show was all about peacemaker becoming the hero he always thought he was. He fi ally realizes he's not a good guy and that he has built this unbreakable wall around what happened with his brother and what his dad molded him into. Peacemaker has kind of been loving a lie, a lie that his dad kind of forced him into through serious abuse.
@@abhinavvarshney2350 what powers?
He was pretending that he liked it, in order to have an emotional relationship with his father, in fact, if you notice, in the suicide squad, when bloodsport tells his story, peacemaker makes a gesture, possibly because he feels familiar with the relationship he had with his father.

This reminded me of Lady from DMC3.
The whole game she wanted to kill her father. Soon as she did she broke down. In DMC5 she told Nero, when he wanted to kill Vergil, it's something you can't let go. Something that will always torture you. Even if they deserved it.

Love how no one talks about the fact that he killed him with a German Walter pistol. The genuine opposite of an American Handgun
Think it's a Luger 9mm, but a fine point otherwise! On a related note, man claims son conspires with "Forces of Baphomet." Same man: Calls self 'Dragon,' which all Christian mythos associates with satan.
Peacemaker should've made his father suffer as compensation for what his father did to him

Robert Patrick is such a great actor, amazing as both heroic and villainous characters.

Goddamnit I’m so thankful John Cena got this role. It really showed his acting chops over Dwayne and other wrestlers who have become actors. He’s so good at showing this raw emotion of a man who suffer under a poor father.
I absolutely love this moment. Where the mighty inborn concept of familial bond is overcome by the willingness to confront sheer evil and make that hard decision. We all think the people we care about are good people, if not entirely than somewhere deep down. But that's because they're good to us. It takes a lot of strength to betray an evil person you once (and still) admired. Peacemaker had to be pushed to the limit, but he did the right thing.
Well said 👏🏻
Honestly, Cena has had some surprisingly strong acting moments on this show.
It’s awesome to see Robert Patrick and John Cena work together again
0:23 aren't there 6 guys from 1 summer who feel that way about you
Is it bad that the white dragon suit is kinda cool
So, in the comics White Dragon used a superheroic identity as propaganda to convince americans to kill minorities and instate a fascist state. The suit is supposed to look cool so that he can get support from people who would otherwise find him unacceptable
Yeah, it looks cool. For some reason, it kinda reminds me of the Power Rangers.
Was not expecting john cena to be a good actor
Out of all the wrestlers to go to film John is the best ten times better that the rock the rock just plays him cena adapts to the role
problem with mother : become moonknight
problem with your fsther : become peacemaker
both of them have problem in family: become anti hero
and u know what tragic both of them accidently kill they brother
Moon Knight's mother was an animal who couldn't control herself, she was suffering of depression and had to put out of her misery. If that theory is true that Moon Knight killed her then yes, she had to be put down.
Is it just me or is Vigilante basically if Weasel and Deadpool were the same guy and wore teal?
Bruh, imagine using non-redundant energy supplies to your supersuit. You should ha e that shit connected six ways to Sunday, and this man has a single loop that controls his attacks and nothing else? C-Rank hero at best, regardless of the racism.
...Hero...?
Uh dude he’s a super villain
Johnny Cash’s dad is fucking crazy.
So.
Peacemaker is at least 40, meaning his dad is at least 58 (probably, he's a "legal" God-fearing idiot). If I tackled my dad into pavement (he's 56), I would break multiple bones. Combine that with the fact John China is at least another 50% of my weight in pure muscle, and his dad goes down in this will no less than three broken ribs, and it's not close to impossible to be anything but short of breath. This reduces bloodflow and oxygen to extremities, at which point a numbness unlike any other will set in. Formally, this is shock
If the "Dragon" survives this in his old age, the beating Peacemaker gave him likely broke at least one orbital socket, most of his facial bones and cartilage, and a hole clear through the head is proven to either fuck you up (see Phineas Gage) or just outright kill you.
You have been thinking about this a little too much

Dads like these probably think they’re making their sons tougher, probably think they’re doing good by their sons, but all they do is hurt their sons, damage them, break them
Until eventually their sons become the worst of humanity, and their fathers are left wondering “Where did I go wrong”
As important as it is to be tough, it’s also important to teach things like compassion, justice, kindness
Umm the compassion part is for women to teach dude men teaches our boys how to survive by being aggressive,on there toes, and ahead of the game and right from wrong
@Unshackled945, that is not true. Would you rather be a man or a good person?
@@Unshackled945 compassion is what keeps us from unleashing our aggression on those who don’t deserve it, compassion is what keeps us from giving into hurtful desires like vengeance and lust, compassion is what gives us a desire to help others over hurt them
Compassion is not only taught by mothers, I shouldn’t have to say that, it’s important for both parents to teach all the lessons, mothers are just as much responsible for teaching aggression, instinct and morality as fathers are responsible for teaching compassion, kindness, empathy and sympathy
It’s not one parent does one and leaves the rest for the other
@@Unshackled945That's just as stupid as you might expect from someone who can't write a single proper sentence in his mother's tongue. My father taught me to never hit a person that hasn't hit me, never disrespect a person that hasn't disrespected me, but never let myself to be disrespected. Only a weak and small man teaches nothing but violence.
that's one cheap Iron Man suit
Cena killed this man two different times once as peace maker and the first time he killed em was in The Movie The Marine
I legit didn’t expect this.
I always wonder why was he crying after he killed him and if you say because it’s his father, dude his father would have 100% killed him and even said he never ever loved him
I guess that it's cause he always had the glimpse of hope that his father could be better, but once he's dead, there's no going back. Or, the adrenaline wore off and the bulk of the physical and emotional pain floods in. Or, because as he said when Vigilante first proposed killing white dragon, he immediately objected saying he loved his father. Or it's about the misery that even after his father's death his father still controls him. He hates himself both for letting his father control him and because of his father constantly putting him down, even in his last words.
This entire situation is emotionally draining. He's not mourning his dad but just how fucked up this entire situation is.
Pretty much nailed it, I would also add having to kill a person after questioning his moral principles and his willingness to kill anybody for peace the entire season. It was a lose-lose situation for Chris.
Not mourning his father, but rather his brother. Also, he's not just mourning him, but how his father killed him and for all those years convinced Peacemaker it was his fault. He exploited his pain to get him to do awful things. And now that it's all over, his father may be gone but the consequences of him being Peacemaker's puppet master all those years aren't. And they may never be.
That's why he's crying. He's just had a lifetime of emotional pain and rage and grief crash down on him in a single instant. It's exhausting, particularly for someone who has spent the whole time not acknowledging it like Peacemaker.
0:21 JOHN WITH A VICIOUS.... SPEAR!!!!!,
