Loved this video! Great fabric choices for the wonderful Montana! I’m getting ready to sew one up in the Minerva exclusive challis fabric in the sunflower print. I figure that print and fabric will be a good transition for summer to early fall.
Love the Montana dress and liked the needle cord and the plaids. Winter will be here soon in Montana so will be looking to sew a cuddly warm garment. Would sew the Montana in that needle cord with a stretch merino wool turtle neck I made a few years ago.Thanks for the info on fabric properties.
I have made several Montanas in various types of fabric . It is a good classic pattern, and for winter it can be worn with a long sleeve T shirt or roll neck underneath . It’s an easy make and not too hungry for fabric especially if you don’t line the top instead use bias binding for facing neck and arms.
Gorgeous- I have a cotton lawn ready for this pattern but I love the checked tencil and might make a different pattern in it. I am very tempted by a chambray version for next Summer [I'll put it on the list !]
