Stop saying you can wait a couple weeks and get her for coal, that is not what WG'ing has announced. WG'ing has said it will be RELEASED FOR COAL AFTER A LATER UPDATE, not when the event ends or in the next patch. So it is coming out at some right now unknown patch. If you recall they said the same thing last fall when the Velos was part of a similar web campaign and we still have not seen her released. Maybe it is coming out soon after the event but maybe not for quite some time.
You might want to try playing her without IFHE. All the other cc's and steamers that have reviews out that I have seen are saying do not take IFHE because on this ship your HE damage will come from the fires not the pen so it it not worth cutting your fire chance in half.
As if this guy knows what he's doing to begin with. Terrible play in the video, and he claims this ship is "just allright, nothing more". 2 km stealth radar is absolutely ridiculous, this thing is very strong for that reason alone.
I picked the ship up for one purpose: clan battles, as a ranged HE dps'er. Soviet stealth radar to pop DDs, hydro for enemy (12km and greater) torps, 13.5k torps yourself (area denial / push cruisers out of position from stealth once the DD can't spot you... . In random battles, with CVs, hybrid BBs, and submarines... it is different. This season of CBs, though... .
AFAIK, WG has not confirmed when the ship will be released for coal. "After patch x" simply means anything from one month to several years. Personally, I very much doubt we'll see the ship in the armoury this year.
She does! If you notice in port the RAN flag is flying! in the gameplay section, the replay unfortunately doesn’t pick up on that and just applied the commonwealth flag

It is a defaced British White Ensign without the cross of St George. The cross is replaced with the Southern Cross and the Commonwealth Star/Federation Star. Love your channel. The big question, commander at 19 or a tier 10 ship that you will get at least 2 containers for a year...... Or get the commander then coal for the ship.
One important difference is that Minotaur guns have 3.2 second base reload, and Brisbane guns have 5 second base reload. Gives Minotaur almost double the Brisbane's dpm. Shell arcs are almost identical, and firing angles are identical.
Just so people are aware BOTH the ship and captain will be available later for coal although they didn’t state wether the captain comes with 19 points or the usual 10!
First impression is that it is an unremarkable ship that struggles when spotted by bigger ships... light cruiser specialists will pick this up but there is not much there for the rest of us as it is easy like all light cruisers to dev strike and doesn't bring anything unique or remarkable to the table.
Maybe its just me but the 100 it seems, torpedoes on each side have been absolutely lethal for me, especially against BB and cruisers. Complete area denial or just to torp somebody to death. Definitely becoming a fav of mine. Ive played the Minotaur on the test server and i dont like it as much
Bit late now but it was perfectly achievable to get the ship for free. Do the missions, spend a bit of free XP, credits etc on the tokens. Much easier to grind those things than coal.
you might be able to filter the fan noise out with software, or move you pc farther away, or clean your heatsinks, or whatever you have to do to reduce that annoying fan noise.

I'm new to WOW.... on tier iv of American battle ship line. Only my second day and I'm usually in the top 3 for team stats.... this doesn't make sense. Are the teams mostly bots at this level??? I never see comments in chat. I'm playing random battles. What's up???
I’m new also ,but I’m on console. On Xbox when you start you see verses bots which has green background or verses which has red background, verses will be you and all human players . When events are going you will have option to play other modes like , Brawl & arena these are only available for short amounts of time and require a specific tier ship to play from what I’ve seen.
My Pirate Tokens will go for the 19 point commander, plus I find the female voiceovers more soothing, and I'm getting tired of Statue of Liberty all the time. If I get the ship it will be for coal sometime way down the road.

I'd go with the commander. A 19-point commonwealth commander is a boon, especially one with a unique voice-over. Presumably, the commander won't be available again. The Brisbane, however, will be available for coal later this year, probably for the same price as the Salem.
The nine stages of the campaign alternate between a mission chain and a story stage which players need to make a 'choice' (from what I've heard, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to anything). So five mission chains and four 'choices' for 550 tokens and... well, nothing, respectively.
Yeah, first mission 90 top spotted and 24 mil potential damage and that is just 2 out of 4 mission of first tier out of 9... This grind is not meant to be achievable that you get something then spend dubloons and resources to get her... Then she comes in armoury for coal later and you regret life choices. Nope, not for me. I just kindly wait for her to appear in armoury. I have life outside screen. I can´t just sit there for a month do 18 hours of gaming.
@@thejamppa play hyrdo DD in co-op to get 90 torps in 6-7 games, 24 mil is not hard, about 12-13 games for any average BB player, but the free XP one, ouch.
Whoever is planning out these missions for WoWs is on crack. I am a decent player and play every day, but I am really struggling to get anywhere with these unreal milestones. Maybe they determined I am only 32% disgusted with the game and need to be closer to the median disgust percentage of 90%. This company's BS is getting really old.
I'm sad to say that I'm super disappointed by this ship. The only damage it can do is with the torps. Her DPM is abysmal and not having smoke really makes this solely a DD assassin. I will probably barely play it compared to the Mino. *edit* I think you're being way too nice. This ship is a waste of time and or money.

Brisbane is shit man i prefer to play Mino Moskva Napoli Hindi . No mobilty no dmg nothing. This combination of 20sec radar and that hight reload make her not so good as mino radar.
I just canot play light cruisers cuz no armor. And when I fins an Island the enemy dd moved and suddenly your sooted again and get slaped by the satsuma from 30km away

there is a note that this ship has a bigger AA range and is nearly maxed out on its AA level
It would have been nice if she had been given a RAN Ensign (its a make up ship anyway so why not give her the Ensign our navy now flies on its ships.)

i have been saving up for her and yesterday. she is a very fun ship and i am a light cruiser main.

They really need to get the Commonwealth country flags on the ships. It's like one flat image to slap on a flag.
