God he’s funny. So I’m fully engaged with the exercise and I hear him saying corny comments and it cracks 😂🤣😂 me up. I normally don’t care for corny but he’s funny 😆 I love the “your welcome” in deep voice after telling us how much we are going to like it! This is so fun for me. I’ve been in a healing crisis - emotional , mental and physical and these videos are a gift to me physically and mentally /emotionally! I’m so thankful I can move my body and laugh fully! Such a treasure 🙏🌸✨
Trinder3467 honestly, it’s up to the individual. None of us should need to do exercises at all but not many of us move all day or as we were intended to move. I’m a fan of moving how you want to and doing what you need to do - out of joy, intent and for purpose or goal. I probably haven’t really answered your question. We are meant to move all the time and not lose our strength or movement patterns. The body rises to the demand and the challenge.
Trinder3467 I’ve spent a lifetime exercising and am completely convinced it’s not the way. Moving is. Play. Work. Locomotion. Exploration. Also convinced you can have a muscular body (not bulky but fit and strong) Tailored just for you through doing these things. That’s why I now mostly just teach movement. The video we are talking under is just a movement we can explore and play with. You’ve got all you need, my friend. We all do. We just don’t all know it.
hay i was happy with the last few videos cause you give a side angle and back angle view as well it helps me understand how to do that please make sure to continue that
Stumbled across this and found it supremely helpful! Mystery tightness in glutes and hams had kept me up all night... This is helping! and funny and real. Thanks!
I do this regularly while my BJJ coach is showing us the technique we’re drilling that class and I completely agree on how geeewwwwwwwdd it feels. Looking forward to adding the head movement. Thank you for being awesome!
Great! I want to be a fast 5k runner. You have so many great videos, be great if u made play lists for different sports. Sometimes motivation low so dont want to run walk or do body wight strength, but ur stuff seems exactly what u say it is....restorative, recharge the batterys, get rid of any kinks.
The short answer is that it improves the information going into the brain. When the brain gets better information, or improved “clarity”, it often releases blocks, barriers, compensations, and restrictions in movements and movement patterns.
🤪😂 happy holidays, Tim. We can tell you don’t suffer from TBS at all! Your jokes, playful attitude, and Johnny on the spot whimsy made this fun. By the way, I plan to take that 90/90 position and further explore the shoulder connection. I think you can likely get some sweet internal/ external rotation if you let one hands palm spin knuckle-side down.🤔
I do the shoulder thing you are referring to quite a bit in rocking! It is pretty awesome. Thanks so much for the feedback too. I appreciate your kind words!
hey Tm, great stuff! do you have a vid on strengthening & resetting the SI joint? creating mobility around the joint (not in the joint..where hypermobility causes problems). but more around loosing up the hamies and all that that connect around it.
Thanks, Steve! There are several videos in our Rocking playlist that could help with this. Especially any of the single leg rocking vids. There are also quite a few here that deal with the hamies. Rocking ua-cam.com/play/PL9v3pv_KGM7vr3nz69wOff7vWsc4ix2jx.html
This works movement Tim demonstrates here, works great I have SI joint problems. I have a host of movement sf that has helped me. Give me a shout if I can help, I have been to physiotherapist and Movement coach, I am a Personal Trainer myself.
Great addiction to the shin box position for loosening up the glutes. Tim I’d love something like this for lighting up the hamstrings and also pecs/shoulders. Merry Xmas Tim,Dani and all the OS Family.

Fantastic video Tim!
I'm glad it was helpful!
I'm not sure I can even sit in what you're calling the shin box position. Might be able to try this if I modify the sit a little.
It is great to modify as needed!
What is the scientific reason for head nods in Hip releasing posture ?
The short answer is that it improves the information going into the brain. When the brain gets better information, or improved “clarity”, it often releases blocks, barriers, compensations, and restrictions in movements and movement patterns.
I am now self diagnosticated with Tigh Butt Syndrome and I'll use this amazing tool to cure it!
Ha! That's so awesome!
You're magic!
Haha I'm gonna try these today even though it's not my birthday until Tuesday! Thanks for the early bday present. Mkay? ;D
Happy Birthday, Travis! I hope it was a great day!
@@OriginalStrengthSystem Thanks so much, Tim! I had a nice birthday :)

@@OriginalStrengthSystem Thanks Tim this movement here actually helps SI Joint dysfunction, every blessing.

I’m working on your suggestions. Thank you so much! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
There's no belly to breathe in! I just've a keggy to hide my sixpack so others don't get envious on me! :-@
Why carry a six pack if you're strong enough to carry a keg? Right?
@@OriginalStrengthSystem Exactly my words!!!!!
