Mashallah, mufti says the truth, other sheikh are always speaking their opinions, no where in the Quran does it say to fully abandon your family just because they are not believers, if im not mistaken I believe the Quran says to keep ties with your family almost under all circumstances, but sadly muslims don't listen or read the Quran they just use the internet and get a wide variety of opinions, subjective opinions, read the Quran and see what Allah says to do, Allah gives an answer for everything, alhamdulillah, God bless all of you, ask yourself is this where you want to be when Jesus comes back, would the prophets be OK with coming into my home? Would they be friends with me?
