This will only change when Muslim countries will start educating their young generation on mass level, and help each other. this is how umma will be strong.

Regarding shaking hands with women. I never understood this argument. Men and women are not allowed to touch each other (non-mahrams). How can someone bring up misogyny into the discussion?😂The same way muslim men would refuse shaking hands with non-mahram women, muslim women would refuse to shake hands with non-mahram men😂
When I was younger and didn't know much, I met for the first time a man who would not shake hands with me (woman, uk) and I really felt embarrassed and ashamed because I assumed he thought I was dirty in some way 😢 I think that's where the idea of misogyny comes from. Now I am older and wiser, I would never try to shake hands with a man.
they probably don't know that we can't touch them in *general* . And that includes the hands too. But they put so much focus on the hands, like it's the only place we cannot touch.
@@delvida5592 Well, it's partially our fault as well. Because every time someone brings this topic, I hear muslims respond with "I can't shake hands with women, it's prohibited in Islam", which is true, but the opposite is true as well. I think a bit better response would be something like, "In Islam men and women can't touch each other if they are not closely related."
Brother it's refreshing to see some one younger talking about these things in a clear cut way. This is the way that we need to be addressing things instead of everything being "nice and sweet" when these are serious issues. I appreciate all you do. Jazak Allahu khayr

Well said brother. ElHamdulillah Allah has given me the opportunity to see the truth about music. I played the guitar for 20 years and studied music production for 3 years. Throughout my education of Music Production I kept questioning how all this is effecting me and others around me and Allah has been answering all my questions as I went along. On my last year and during final assessments/projects I decided to stop music and discontinued my education. For the sake of Allah, I forbid myself of receiving a Bachelor degree in MP and stopped playing/listening to music all together. Ever since Allah has given me so many rewards from his generosity and kindness. The university grabted me a diploma in MP since I had completed 2 years of the major, and I would like to believe it’s Allah giving me something to keep me on a based ground when I speak about music and it’s effects. That I am certified to talk about what I have learnt and experienced. Music is no joke. Especially mainstream music. It’s like a drug. It alternates your natural energy to be set on a specific frequency based on the frequency of the song. When you stop, the waves of that frequency slowly fades and then you crave more because your body starts to return to the surrounding state frequency, which may be one of discomfort and something desired to avoid. Which exactly the wisdom of Allah telling us to surround ourselves with the right people. If we allow Allah’s words to be our music, our frequencies will be on the right channel and our hearts will be filled without the desire of wanting worldly possessions. Thank you brother Mohammed for the insightful lecture. May Allah grant you janat el ferdos and May he guide us all to the straight path and keep us strong and steadfast on the straight and righteous path. Allahu akbar

I have a question regarding the use of Allahumma barik. If am not wrong it means "May Allah bless you". I think it works in this situation very nice. But if something good happened to someone, in my head it doesn't make sense to say "May Allah bless you", because they have already been blessed and I want to comment on the good that happened to them. So I would rather say "Allah have blessed you" but I don't know how to say that in a Sunnah way. Perhaps it's just better to say Alhamdulillah
@@aj3706 When to say Allahumma barik The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) instructed the Muslim, if he sees something with his Muslim brothers that he admires, to pray for blessing (barakah ) for them. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “If one of you sees something with his brother that he admires, let him pray for blessing (barakah) for him.” Narrated by Imam Malik in al-Muwatta (2/939), Imam Ahmad in al-Musnad (25/355), and Ibn Majah (3509) Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr (may Allah be pleased with him) stated that this is obligatory, when he said: “The words of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), “Did you not pray for barakah for him?”, indicate that the evil eye does not cause any harm if the one who looks at a thing prays for barakah for it; it can only cause harm if he does not offer supplication. So what is required of everyone who admires a thing is to pray for barakah for it. If he prays for barakah, that will inevitably ward off what is feared of harm. And Allah knows best.” (At-Tamhid, 6/240-241)
@@aj3706 Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “If the one who is looking fears that he could cause harm by his evil eye to the object that he is looking at, then he may ward off its evil by saying “Allahumma barik ‘alayhi (O Allah, bless it for him),” as the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to ‘Amir ibn Rabi‘ah, when he looked at Sahl ibn Hunayf: “Did you not pray for barakah for him?” - In other words did you not say “Allahumma barik ‘alayhi (O Allah, bless it for him)”?” (Zad al-Ma‘ad, 4/156)

In 1967, while the IDDF army marching on the foothills of the occupied Palestine-Westbank, they hear a Palestinian voice over the hill: "one Palestinian with a slingshot is better than 10 IDF soldiers!" The IDDF General Avraham Yoffe laughs, as he sends 10 men on the hill to capture it. There is gunfire for a minute or so and then every-thing goes silent but they hear the same faint voice; "one Palestinian is better than a hundred of yours!". Annoyed, the IDDF General sends hundred men to capture that hill. There is intense gunfire and bombs going off for around ten minutes and then everything goes eeriley silent again. Suddenly, that same voice yell out again: "one Palestinian is better than a thousand of yours!" Enraged and infuriated, General Yoffe sends a thousand men, accompanied with tanks, artillery, mortar teams and strictly orders them not to return until the hill is captured. For around half an hour all hell loose breaks, bombs, explosions, gunfire, shelling, screams of death all around and every corner and then, it goes silent again. One IDDF soldier crawls back, severely wounded, brusied and battered and before the General could say anything, the soldier says "Do not send more troops General, it's a trap! There's two of them in there"... ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, . .. .....,,,.

This will only change when Muslim countries will start educating their young generation on mass level, and help each other. this is how umma will be strong.
💯
Countries don't have to educate. It is a blessing if they do. However,
Tarbiyah is the responsibility of the family.
@@homeschoolindianmom its the education system.

@muslimshad Yes, that's a better answer because it explains it a bit more. Honestly, at the time, I had no idea about this or the reason for it.

Brothers and sisters for the sake of Allah (God) don't forget to say Mashallah (As God wills) when praising Mohammed to protect him from evil eye. And also it is a way to give the ultimate recognition to Allah Subhanahu wa-Tala (God Glorified is he and The Most High)
You say allah huma barik not Ma Sha Allah
Allahumma Barik for others
Ma’sha Allah for ourselves
I have a question regarding the use of Allahumma barik.
If am not wrong it means "May Allah bless you".
I think it works in this situation very nice.
But if something good happened to someone, in my head it doesn't make sense to say "May Allah bless you", because they have already been blessed and I want to comment on the good that happened to them.
So I would rather say "Allah have blessed you" but I don't know how to say that in a Sunnah way. Perhaps it's just better to say Alhamdulillah
@@aj3706 When to say Allahumma barik
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) instructed the Muslim, if he sees something with his Muslim brothers that he admires, to pray for blessing (barakah ) for them. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
“If one of you sees something with his brother that he admires, let him pray for blessing (barakah) for him.” Narrated by Imam Malik in al-Muwatta (2/939), Imam Ahmad in al-Musnad (25/355), and Ibn Majah (3509)
Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr (may Allah be pleased with him) stated that this is obligatory, when he said:
“The words of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), “Did you not pray for barakah for him?”, indicate that the evil eye does not cause any harm if the one who looks at a thing prays for barakah for it; it can only cause harm if he does not offer supplication. So what is required of everyone who admires a thing is to pray for barakah for it. If he prays for barakah, that will inevitably ward off what is feared of harm. And Allah knows best.” (At-Tamhid, 6/240-241)
@@aj3706 Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“If the one who is looking fears that he could cause harm by his evil eye to the object that he is looking at, then he may ward off its evil by saying “Allahumma barik ‘alayhi (O Allah, bless it for him),” as the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to ‘Amir ibn Rabi‘ah, when he looked at Sahl ibn Hunayf: “Did you not pray for barakah for him?” - In other words did you not say “Allahumma barik ‘alayhi (O Allah, bless it for him)”?” (Zad al-Ma‘ad, 4/156)

Mashallah, brother looks so stunning with that outfit. This is my first time seeing in that outfit.
Suddenly, that same voice yell out again: "one Palestinian is better than a thousand of yours!"
Enraged and infuriated, General Yoffe sends a thousand men, accompanied with tanks, artillery, mortar teams and strictly orders them not to return until the hill is captured.
