My tip. #1Start with an intention for seeking the pleasure of Allah Almighty. #2Set a specific time for everyday. #3Read the ayah and tafakkur the meaning. #4Read the ayah until you memorize it 7-8-9-10 times then add the next #5 Use them in your Salah as soon as you memorize it. #6 Make Dawaah.
You are right this is what I do every day to memorize the holy Quran I learned many pages without a teacher I only use a piece of paper to write the day, time, how many mistakes I got, how many ayahs I memorize and how many minutes or hours it takes to learn. I also use UA-cam to listen to the tajweed and I also do to learn half a page or one page to memorize and I read again what I memorize already. I sleep with listening to the surah I memorize already. These are what I did every day 😊
I grew up in a town where I was the only Muslim and I regret not learning when I was small..I’m now in my late 20’s and I feel shy to go to classes where they are just kids, I’m trying to read myself with an app now

One important thing I would to mention from experience as a Hafiz, all tips that Deena mentioned are crucial plus having firm plan of revising and this prophet Mohammed peace be upon him advice (commit Quran) and I suggest you should cover your memorisation at least once a month, if you are hafiz you revise one Juzz a day

The most important aspect is to memorize the Quran with a qualified teacher. It’s important for people who want to memorize to learn Tajweed first. Remember, memorizing Quran is a journey. Small consistent steps help.
Assalam o Aliekum! Here we are making the knowledge of Deen(with correct reference) easier for the Children with the intention that they will come more closer to their Lord than this dunya... I will like to add one important tip: While repeating a verse always read few words from next verse or at least see the beginning of next Verse to connect both in your memory in an automatic way
