It's sad, because I'm not having fun looking for how to get to the next Place.
It was forgivable in the base game, felt like none of the essential locations were hidden behind some nonsense.
Progression was natural (even though I'm still against certain plot lines and side quests being locked once you progressed to a point.)
And you didn't have to look too hard to get where you needed to be next.
But here? God DAMN, why was one of the big areas hidden behind a freaking hidden passage invisible wall?? Did I miss the note explaining that bull shit?
that mother prayer and invisible wall next to the painting got me. I've been looking for these two for days and i couldnt figure it out.
How the hell are you supposed to know doing that gesture in front of the statue unlocks it?? The gesture dosen't even have an item description 😒😒
There were many times Fromsoft locked big areas behind gestures, not surprising it would be found.
@@arditlika9388 sure, but I'm asking how? Like was the intended method for discovering this location supposed to be trial and error, or was there an in-game "quest" that gives you the information you needed to open that area up? Because if its the former I think thats bad game design.
@@tdcMcDom There is no in game quest I think, but I thought it was fairly obvious when you already have the gesture plus the dev message in the room. It makes no sense on its own, but after dark souls 3 hiding an entire area behind a gesture, I expected it here as well tbh.
Honestly Placidusax I think is far more hidden than this.
@@tdcMcDomlmao. Skips every cutscene, all npc dialogue, and reads nothing on the ground then asks how am I supposed to know stuff
@@Pewpewnation123 so are you saying that it was in a cutscene, or an npc's dialogue and I just missed it? If so can u tell me who the npc is so I can actually see what I missed
whoever designed these maps and how they all interconnect is an absolute madman.

exploring is so damn confusing in this dlc
I hate it, I hat any game I'm forced to go on UA-cam just to know where to go next. It's NOT fun, it removes the fun when you run by the same locactions 100 times and are sitll lost.

No, actually it’s more like hours and hours of dying to the same boss over and over again and then like I’ve been walking to get to the next area and then dying on your way to the boss and then finally getting there after an hour and then dying to the boss for hours and then doing that over again and again Until you decide to beat radahm

I couldn't find the way to the abyssal woods, i found the room with the painting but didn't notice the illusionary wall.
Just wanted to know how to get to shadow keep entrance because I found the back entrance first, and it was the first thing I saw in your vid.

Maybe i missed that part, but how can you reach red location at south-west part of the map? Its right above cerulian coast.
You have to kind of jump onto/over the feet of the giant dead dragon beside the grand altar of dragon communion.

you have to jump off the cliff before the big altar in the main room beside the magma mf, no idea how people would know that, i threw a glowing stone down and it broke so i assumed it wasnt jumpable, yet you can jump for like 10 second drop and get to the boss at the botom

Idk why tf the dragons pit cave exit i never saw. God im so upset how many hrs i spent trying to get to the dragons peak. IDK WHAT I HATE EXACLY BUT I HATED THIS EXPERIENCE. THERE SHOULD BE MORE THAN ONE WAY TO GET TO ALL AREAS

There's an area between the Scadutree chalice and the hinterland area ..nobody knows how to get there but it looks like an arena
I've wondering the same, it looks like a swamp from the map and I have no idea how to get there
I know how to get there. Found it just looking around. Once you drain all the water from the shadow keep there is a church somewhere in the ruins that has a elevator to go down and then your there

I really hope From Software is done with open worlds for a long, long time. Elden Ring was alright, but for gods sake go back to what you're best at. Dungeons and Bosses. I hope Spellbound is nothing like Elden Ring as far as world traversal.
