Extra tip on the remembrance duplication tombs: you can use the walking mauloseums on base map to duplicate the dlc remembrances
My one question I had, thank you!!!
But not for radahn and messmer tho
@@yrvjutrtubxsyi I need to try that, still got some walking mauloseums left
@@SirRafarga yeah messmer and radahns remembrances dont work on any of the mausoleums, you can only duplicate their stuffs at the coffins in the dlc.
@@yrvjutrtubxsyi *furiously writes down*
"there's something awesome in video games when you can have non-human entities as allies" YES! Agreed!
I really hate how missable these NPC quests are, now I have to start the game all over again if I want to do a bunch of these
Or go in NG+ on the same Character :3
I hate how people defend it by saying ‘just pay attention’ as if we’re somehow meant to know that literally just stepping foot in the shadowkeep can block questlines.
Absolutely sucks to find out that the reason why the world felt empty and NPCs were just missing was because I crossed some imaginary line. The DLC really provides too little guidance in where you're supposed to go. I accidentally beat the final boss with 40% of the map still unexplored, went to see these places afterwards and they felt like a joke because they were obviously meant to be explored before even entering Shadow Keep but this was just never even implied. On top of the fact that they were hidden behind laughably missable hidden entrances...
@@Norwolf2097 How did you kill last boss without exploring the full map? Idk og game was also like this - you could mainline really quickly
@@Norwolf2097The final boss isn't in the Shadow keep...
Looks like you've gone the intended route, keep exploring.
You're not at the end yet
Want to let everyone know the hanging pots containing the Bell Bearings can be broken using either of the Shackles. You do not need to shot them. I found this out by accident but this can be useful for those that don't really used ranged weapons. Just wanted to put that out there.
That's rally useful! Thank you!
That's is pretty cool, didn't think about that. It also works on the stones that block the spirit spings (at least the ones that are close by). But who doesn't have a bow or crossbow in their inventory? You should have one by accident and arrows or bolts from just going through the world.
I always have a bow in my inventory since DS1 days. Its so useful. You can pull enemies one by one from a group, pick them of from a safe distance, distract them by shooting an arrow (ER has even arrows for that now), use it to "aim" your view for spells and things like breaking these pots. I wouldn't want to use bows as a main weapon, but as a back up they're really nice have.
Great tip
@@D00MTR33 folks who like to hot swap and maintain inventory are about the only people who wouldn't have a spare bow, don't even need the stats, an arrow is an arrow as far as the pot is concerned
Super handy tip, thank you!
Damn how was i suppose to know that exploring further would lock me out of questlines :(
Because From Soft 😂🙃
Didn't you play the main game lol 😂 you could have known
It's literally been in every game
@@mangafgc2891 exactly lmfao derrr. My condolences OP! Did the same thing out of excitement... Then realized it when I saw NPCs where I didn't think they should be since I didn't do anything major. Lol I should have KNOWN 😂
@@DomsRoundtableexactly! Locked out of questlines is the Fromsoft way. I’ve learned to just accept it and shrug my shoulders. 7-8 playthroughs later I still somehow miss getting the Magic Scorpion Charm 😂. It’s one of the few items I never got.
13:26 The Sword of Light ability reminds me of Wanders sword from Shadow of the Colossus when you raise it to point toward objectives or weaknesses
I appreciate so much knowing where the points of no return are located. Thank you Dom.
OMG. I need to redo so much. Thank you Dom, as always!
Did anyone else notice by the Shadowkeep that it looks like the Moon is being siphoned by the Scadu Tree? I first noticed it by the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Been waiting for a loreturber to try and explain what's happening and what it might suggest.
The cinnamon toast crunch behind the keep ?
@@Nolimitsbestfriendhha
really been enjoying your last couple dlc vids, thanks for the hard work and keep it up!
Excellent work Dom
Thanks a lot, your videos really help as I'm good at learnig boss patterns and fighting strategies but terrible in open world exploration and discovering secrets so I tend to miss so much cool stuff in my playthrough.
Something you ought to add to a future video is in the Abyssal Woods, the creepy enemies your meant to stealth around can actually be parried, making them vulnerable to damage. If you kill one that way, you can get a talisman boosts damage after a madness proc, which is definitely worth putting in a video considering the counterintuitive way of getting it.
Really?
@@ZhenJi88 yep this is true
Just found your channel and I’m super deep into exploring the dlc for the second time right now. Perfect time to binge all your videos while I play. I missed SO MUCH on my first playthrough lol
These are some really nice secrets. So much to discover in this DLC. One useful secret I found from another youtuber, you can use Margit or Mogh's shackles on a locked Spirit Spring, and it will unlock it, no need to look for the pile of rocks and break it to enable the spring.
your content is always really helpful, thank you :)
Wow! Thanks! I refrained from watching anything like this until I spent a while in the DLC, and I prettyu much missed all the goodies.
Love it. Please make more!
Your videos are a great help to my journey in the lands between and in the shadow of the Erdtree
Thank you so much for you comment snd Super Thanks! 🥰 It's hugely appreciated and I'm glad I could help you through your journey!
Keep it up dom thank u as always
Lovely content, as always
I thought those hanging pots were decorative, I didn't think to break them. I've missed... so many items.
I didn't know about the forager brood secret book.
Finally thanks for showing the breakpoints for the ruin, I did not know about the Bonny one.
Fantastic as always 👏
I was not aware about the foraging brood and honestly all of these are such incredible discoveries. God I love this game.
Me neither, I stumbled on one of them, didn't kill it, just left a message on the ground lol.
Thanks Dom great video
Great video so much going on underneath the obvious, best material.
This was awesome. More please.
love your videos ❤
Super great videos you make...your awsome
Awesome video ❤️
Thank you for sharing these 12 wonderful secrets with us🙏
there were actually ones i didnt know about, surprised, more pls :)
I love this series, man. Keep them coming. As a fellow Dragon lore and magic enjoyer, thank you. 🎉
i love all your videos...
i love the way you make your videos, it feels so human !!!
by the way, will the sword of night and flame build work or survive the DLC ?
I need your honest opinion...
TYIA
This seems like an awesome series, but i’ma have to hold up on watching til I get a little further along to avoid some spoilers.
Thanks! I follow your guide for Elden ring and now trying the dlc ❤😂
Thank you so much for your Super Thanks! You will smash the DLC!! 🤩
Dom, your videos helped me to get to NG+6 on Elden Ring 😮, I've opened up most of the map, but can't kill anything other than the shadow people in the first area. Godd this DLC is hard or I'm utter rubbish. Keep them videos coming, cheers 🍻
Of course we want more of these videos my boy!!!! Waited 2 years for em!!😅
Looking forward to everyone of your videos Doms. BTW, I thought the catacombs in the OG game were nasty, these new ones are insane.
You can jump up the back wall of the of the place the sleeping golem is blocking, so it’s not necessary to wake him up if you don’t have the means to kill him or don’t want to yet
Thank you!
Good video !!!
some great advice here... can't wait to get into a NG+ already. I wonder what would happen if you dual wielded both sword of dark and light at the same time?
Great video thank you ! I found the puppet but had use the Iris of Occultation >< Also I didn't knew about the sleepy dragon lady thanks :o
Wow this is amazing 🎉
Im ready for this video, today i will fight Messmer and try to finish the dlc i have explore most areas in the DLC the map is insane i love it XD
Important to note here that you are sacrificing both the Priestess Heart (sweet) and Flowerstone Gavel (rather amazing) if you go down the concoction route with the Dragon Communion Priestess.
Amazing video
The whole chunk of content involving the dragons may be the best in From history. It’s so damn good.
CURSE YOU, BAYLE!
Yes. More. Thanks
I usually know most of the secrets in these types of videos but I only knew like 2 or 3 of these. Really well done. I'm still expecting there to be a secret ending involving the Shadowtree Chalice
omg thank you for telling me where the rune breaks. I was so close to screwing that up! that should be a youtube short or something
Stbled on another use for the shackles. I found an invisible wall in upper Rauh & was using a shackle to look for more when I discovered they can work on locked Spirit Springs stacked stones as well.
Would love a video (or series) relating just to the NPC quest lines! Had no idea that quests could be altered / disappeared once Miquellas rune breaks. Kinda upset that I may have missed out on some!
I had no idea about the forager brood... I think I killed a few of them cause ..string bugs ...ty for the Information lol
I accidentally went too close to shadow keep and would love to know if I've broken any questlines can u please release a video explaining the things u need to do b4 this point in the game thanks Dom ur a true legend
That’s what I love so much about Elden Ring. I found that note outside the shadow keep when I also figured out you could farm those 6 enemies around the nearby dead furnace golem for furnace visages. With the silver tear mask and the silver scarab, they were dropping visages like 30% of the time. I got a dozen of them in like 20 minutes. But I was farming from the site of grace right outside the bossfight in the shadow keep and i broke the Great Rune going into the place. But as soon as I read that message knew what I had to do. Well sorta. I thought just throwing them at their feet would take off lots of health but I was wrong. Then I saw that many of them were near cliffs and I figured id try to throw one in their head and sure enough, BOOM. I also use the companion jar talisman and the Great Jar helm to increase pot damage.
How did i miss it dlc is 4 days old lol thankfully you posted this
The Florissax quest is incredible and worth suffering through the Bayle fight twice for.
The weapon at the end of the normal version is one of the best in the game. Hearts both slap, too. And the alternate end gets you that surprisingly powerful incantation and the other thing that's also amazing, so there's that.
Also both Bayle spells hit like a train made of other smaller trains, even though the two slots are BS and his lightning claw has the reach of basically a single pixel. That one pixel will be burned to death, at least.
Lmao "The reach of a single pixel, but that one pixel shall be burned to death" 😂
@@davethescrub858 It's the single angriest spot on your screen. Especially if you can survive running rock dragon form. Doable in the DLC, but outside it you're just going to be living off crabmeat and prayers.
I wish they'd buff Dragonbolt of Florissax to 15 or 20 so it's not just worse Golden Vow though. Would be the ideal way to run dragon anywhere outside the shadow realm.
I'm going to mention Mohg's Shackle (or Margit's). if you shackle near the pots, they will break. If you don't see them or don't have a bow to shoot them down.
Soooo excited to watch these till then I have my fingers in my ears and closing my eyes 😂
I just found the Church of Dragon Communion. I would have never figured out that. Thanks for the tip. Here's a tip of mine that you missed with the walking mausoleums. You can duplicate the dlc rememberences at the walking mausoleums in the Lands Between and cash them in at the Roundtable Hold for rememberence items. Also, I found a cheese for Edred and a cheese for Sennesax.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your Super Thanks!! It's truly appreciated! 😁
I found that forager that needed healing, I usually have a healing faith spell on me but took it off, so was thinking "oh I can't help him unless I go put that spell on, wait I'll look at items" and used the warning stone and was pleased it worked.
You can use the old mausoleums for the new remembrances :)
Plethora of secrets!
The Sword of Light and Sword of Darkness reminds me of the night and day cycle sword from the Shivering Isles DLC of Oblivion.
The Ruins of Rauh were one of the first areas I encountered. The hardest place for me to find was the route to the Back area of Shadow Keep
Amazing
The abyssal woods was for me the biggest wtf moment in the entire dlc. An area that has so little in it apart from the Manse, but atmospherically makes you feel dread, nerves and complete despair. Torrent is terrified, you can see that the land is abandoned and completely secluded from the rest of the map and for a reason. The culmination boss fight at the end wraps up the Frenzied flame questline brilliantly. Also I couldn't sleep the first time I ventured there as I found the land at 2 am and couldn't believe what I was seeing
I found about 8 of these but i didnt realize night time was that important haha, never even seen the dragon priestess! Still got the heart though haha
Second Dom your my goat. Also Dom, is there a way to get both of the Bayle the Dread incantations in one playthrough? Or a way to like duplicate the Bayle heart?
Unfortunately you cannot, however as there is 2 endings to Florissax's questline (The Dragon Communion Priestess), this is perfect, because you can the collect all the rewards throughout 2 playthroughs 😊
Thank god I’ve been so cautious, I’ve come so close to crossing those lines but my paranoia has held me back. I just found Bonny’s village last night, got the grace and got out, and I just finished exploring the south of Scadu Altus and was getting ready to go north.
Wow! Thank you so much for this video! I was stuck yesterday not knowing where to go next, I did not even notice that hidden path! You're awesome man, I love your content. Great Channel 🫡
Glad I have multiple characters ready to redo the DLC, missed so many things haha
Please do a video on all the weird questline stuff. I had already progressed to far to use thioliers concoction when I learned of it's use.
I am getting the NPC's questlines out ASAP :D The first one is coming on Friday!
Damn it! Guess I have to do another playthrough..
Bayle and Ralanna have been my two favorite. Messmer was fun as well... So is the NPC royal rumble at the end. I think this is the most consistent group of good bosses that I have ever seen in a Souls game. The only fight that felt unfair was General Gaius.
I'm definitely rushing for the dragon lady's quest on my ng+, I really forget about nighttime 😭😭
That creepy area with the madness in it where you can't use your mount holy moly
Oh dear, I'm already well past the shattering line... I hope I'm not cut off from getting those awesome looking Spirit Ashes.
I love the dlc, I’m in NG+ at this point, but the automatic shattering of the rune with no warning when you walk into the wrong area is awful. I completely ruined my first play through by accident and missed out on what sounds like some really cool new characters/stories.
You can’t make an open world game which gives very little direction to the player and encourage exploration and then say “haha fuck you, you explored too far and now you have to go into NG+ to understand the story properly”
Yes! I totally agree, until I figured out where the line was on both areas of the map I had done this so many times!
Well, fuck fromsoft on this one, guess I'm just not gonna bother. Pretty stupid that I got locked out of stuff for exploring outside of a castle and not even going inside. Im.sire as hell not gonna redo all this work, so whatever.
Which ones did you miss out on ? I feel like i did like 80% of mine after the shattering or at least started them all afterwards. Thollier , Ansbach and like 90% of Moore - i missed the one brood so i never got that dialogue option , Leda and Hornsent , pretty much everyone you’d initially meet early game far as i can tell were still safe
@@breezyprods.6196 Yeah same thing for me. It felt like I maybe missed out on some context a little bit but I think practically all NPC quests still worked.
@@DomsRoundtable so if you shatter the ruins that you are talking about by crossing the line is there main story portions that you lose out on or just side quests?
Hey Dom, I not sure if you covered this but you can dupe remembrances at a few coffins with the bodies on them, there’s one outside Ymir’s castle.
I haven't covered the sarcophagus in full in any video but yes I have found that one 😊
As soon as I read your message it pop up in your video.
Thanks
Thank you so much for your Super Thanks! 😁
Wish i knew about Moore and healing the hurt kindred. I triggered the event by crossing the bridge out of Bonny village towards Ymur church (dozen UA-camrs make videos on his quest and not one mention of it) because i thought its only going to happen 8f you approach the shadow keep.
Guess there's ng+15 cycle I'll be going through more carefully.
Imma have to come back for the NG+
Thanks for mentioning super thanks! I've enjoyed your content since the base game released and I definitely owe you a tangible thank you. Thanks for all the excellent content, and for helping me get the most out of this amazing game. I'd rather watch you than a $20 season of some TV show.
Thank you so much for your incredible support! I really appreciate it and I'm glad my content has helped you through Elden Ring! 😁
I recommend collecting the sword first from the Fogrift Catacomb. If i am right, this will make the LIGHT version on the bridge and the DARK in the Wateringhole. In my game i collected it at the Wateringhole and had to enter Fogrift to turn it DARK
Makes me sad that I missed some of this. I also accidently liked the forager pest by church of the crusade because I thought it was an enemy. 😢
I'm now scared on crossing the blue lines without paying attention
Btw u can do the remembrance dupe in the base Elden ring map as well for DLC ones so u don’t need to choose wisely 5:02
Just finished the DLC
Hope Il still be able to get both spirit ashes
I should've seen this video before visiting Ymir. I thought I can pass through Bonny village without breaking the rune lol
I’m watching every one of your videos.
I appreciate your dedication my friend and thank you so much for you incredible support!
A note: when you progress Moore's questline too far, where he asks you to help him decide how to feel about his situation, it seems all the Forager's Brood vanish (except the ill one, where Moore can be found later).
Just a quick FYI for everyone.
You can still duplicate DLC remembrances in the base game walking mausoleums. I did it yesterday and duplicated the last bosses remembrance and shadow keep boss remembrance in Weeping peninsula & liurnia with no issues.
You need to do a video of the order of which NPC quests to do too unlock everything and not be locked out..
I’m scared I’m going to go too far doing one quest and lose loads of loot…
Great content as ever!!
THIS please!
My first NPC questline is coming out on Friday and will give you an idea of how far to go 😁
Great news 🎉🎉
I found the main quest line sorta underwhelming but all these secrets and side areas are really cool
I'm so mad I missed the opportunity to get Moore's cookbook because I beat Messmer RIGHT before I got to help all the foragers. Augh.
what the hell. what a unbelivable video.
