Yes, a Kenworth K-100 E. There are several real life Kenworths that are rebuild as being Motormaster. This one is very beautiful: ua-cam.com/video/P3EFoIRnRW4/v-deo.html
Fun fact about Motormaster's face scuplt - it turns out, he actually DID have purple eyes in the cartoon! So did Breakdown, Dead End, and Wild Rider. Also, fun fact about Menasor - he is THE ONLY DECEPTICON COMBINER who can only be taken out through SHEER LUCK.
I bought this G1 Reissue Stunticons 6 years ago. I bought Reprolabels set from ToyHax to put on them. I bought them as a giftset brand new. This is a great review of the G1 Stunticons, Patriot Prime. I am one of your subscribers too.
I got the full set of Stunticons 6-7 months ago and they're so good. Although I think all of them were the 1990 Classic reissues (Motormaster definitely is cause I got his packaging too but unsure about the others!). The Stickers are well worn, Wildrider is very loose used an arm so I keep him as a leg, and the only piece missing from the whole set was Dead End's Twin cannon which I bought from a guy in Italy. Even got an extra right hand! This team is so good, every member looks nice in both modes, but was surprised to see how small Motormaster is! Menasor is nice to, I think he looks better than the individual members! Now that you've mentioned it Menasors face does resemble Sylvester Stallone's (had a little chuckle!). So very good experience with the G1 Stunticons!
Always loved Menasors look. He just fits that “bad guy” look. I’m considering on buying me a G1 sometime but I’m also in the process of wrapping up on the Xtransbots, so maybe perhaps after. Awesome review as always!
The first Transformers (toys) I ever owned was purchased at a department store called "Ben Franklin's" here in my tiny little East KY backwoods, rural (very rural) town. It was the Frenzy/Lazerbeak two-pack . My mother almost didn't get it for me because Transformers were way more expensive than GI Joe. Long story long. I still have Lazerbeak in my collection, but in those days, toys were played with. Often. Anyway, OFFICIALLY, the toy of Frenzy is blue. We can argue all day. Doesn't change the fact. I have spoken.
Had motormaster as a child, its actually one the figures my parents bought me along with perceptor when i went and seen the movie in the summer of 1986.I had a lot of the leader figures(main center figures)about 5 silverbolt, motormaster, hotspot, razorclaw and onslaught they came with both feet hands and the head,so i had alot of the combiner parts.Sadly the only combiner i was able to complete back in the day was bruticus.
Great to see Menasor being reviewed, he's always been one of my favourite G1 toys (I got him in a gift pack one Christmas) and still love him to this very day. I do need to fix the back panel on Motor Masters chest tough as the tabs snapped (old plastic, it happens) and some superglue will get that sorted out. He'll soon be back on the display shelves though. Now if only we'd get a Earthrise Menasor set that looks good!
My original 80s version is combined and in my display case next to original Superion...I still remember getting them for Xmas and having the boxes for ages to keep them in. Then the boxes got thrown away and now I weep at the thought of all those amazing boxes in the rubbish bin!!! All of my son's Transformers get opened carefully and the boxes get taken away by Dad and put into a vault (my bedroom cupboard) for safe keeping! The other two boxes I cry over and remembered having for ages were for Metroplex and Scorpinok. What a fool I was!!!!!!
These were one of favorites too, and other ToyWorld's Devastator, the only 3rd party combiners I own. I am even working on 1/64th scale versions of the vehicle modes, Motormaster, dragstrip, and Deadend are complete, working on Breakdown now. I also still have my original G1 Menasor, complete in kept in great shape.
Awesome review He is also one of my favorites. Can't wait to complete the Fanstoys set. Damn Menasor really looks like Stallone lol. Thanks for sharing brother. Roy
Drag Strip was the only Stunticon we had in our collection. We did have three Arielbots, and it was from those we discovered that all Combiner figures of that era had interchangeable parts.
i bought a KO set of these 20-25 years ago, high quality, but even better for one reason: in BASE MODE he had a spring-loaded launch feature. pull back the place to put a car, push a button, and launch! it goes flying
I had Bruticus but after 30 years the plastic parts just disintegrated and broke when I wanted to show it to my son. Amazing that this Menasor figure is still intact!

An old fav combiner team. I think fan out of the 5 was Motormaster and always wished was bigger. Why debating 3rd party buying for a team. I forgot about that base mode completely. Great throwback review.
I never did get this during it's original release. I just didn't care for the boxy look around Motormaster/Menasor look at the time. I eventually did get the KO version, but also got the complete Crazydevy kit that gave a full head that mounted on top and upgraded armour to give him better proportions. As for my preference on G1 combiners, Bruticus was my favourite because of the proportional aesthetics, variety of vehicles and character arc in the show. I'm enjoying your G1 reviews, there is always something magical about the nostalgia of these guys that you do so well to bring out.

I used to have Menasor and had fun switching the limbs around to get all the different combinations.I forgot how many different combinations you could get.Maybe someone can answer that.
Man so many similar with me. Menasor is my favorite combiner and the only combiner I had as a kid, still have him. Got the toyhax set also. Was disappointed when I saw how small he was compared to Prime, wanted to recreate that scene from Masquerade of them playing chicken. Same limb placement and I always extended the arms like that. And I transformed Motormaster's legs the same way, cause otherwise it looked like he had rickets.
Great review, the stunticons were the first combine team, I'd actually gotten complete as a kid. Also as far as the many knockoff versions available, as well as all the accessories, make sure you get all five figures as well. I say that because there are package sets out there that don't have wildrider and dead end, but nosecone and afterburner from the technobots. So if you get a knockoff set make sure you don't get one of these versions
Yeah the students come to cool, but despite the side they're on the competitons were my favorite combining team from gen 1. I wish you would do a review of the Gen 1 combaticons team.

It was THAT play feature that probably allowed me to somewhat "accept" Motormaster's smaller size, in spite of being really disappointed that he was so tiny compared to Optimus Prime. Sadly, the Combiner Wars release did no one any favors in his combined mode, and was QUITE the disappointment... Blackjack in G1 was a member of the Micromaster Sports Car Patrol, Motormaster's Roller drone was unnamed. Combiner Wars introduced Blackjack as Menasor's chest armor.
Love menasor I just hate how short he is compared to others except defensor he's pretty small too but I need to upgrade my motor master and get some toyhax labels

Bob Budiansky was given a lot of leeway in naming and creating the backstory for them. But ultimately, the comic was really only an advertisement for the toys. I had Breakdown, but he didn't come with the cannon.
It was more than that. The comic grew up with its audience and produced some fantastic stories and introduced some great characters. But all in all...to sell toys. 🤘
Looking back I'm suprised the stunticons were never introduced into the Micheal Bay films considering how much Micheal pay likes to have expensive cars as most of the transformers alt modes in those films the stunticons would have been perfect considering they were all with the exceptions of drag strip and motor master high end vehicles for the time I assume since breakdown was a Lamborghini Countach and I'm not sure exactly what cars Dead end and Wildrider were though i know dead end was a porsche and Wildrider was a Ferrari
I love the Stunticons (Dead End is my favourite) but I find Menasor and Superion are the weakest Combiners. Great car modes and robot modes and Menasor is really cool as well but ultimately falls short when compared to the rest. Second only to Superion who is the weakest because of his legs. Bruticus is my favourite. Also there’s a variant of the Menasor mask with unpainted eyes and the Menasor combination parts come in two different shades of purple plastic depending where it was manufactured. If it’s Japan it’s darker, it’s it’s Macau it’s lighter.
It’s weird that sunstreaker, Sideswipe, and breakdown are all the same vehicle and yet none of those 3 transform in the same way or even similarly at all.
I really like the stunticons in the cartoon. But as the toy, it is too boxy, they could done a better job on making him a little bigger. He is not much bigger than a normal transformer like wheel jack Maroge
