I have one for almost 2 years now and it became my main bass. I previously owned the elite 4 version but it wasn't that great. Thought too at firt it would be the same bass again but it wasn't true.
The neck here is just incredible, that's one of the best 5 string bass neck with 19mm string spacing I have ever played.
The trussrod wheel was a good idea on paper but in the end it produced more difficulties than the opposite (the one on stingray special basses is way better) so in the end I'm glad they removed it.
For the low B, let's face it, it's a 34 inches scale bass, it's not prefect but once both pickups are placed at the perfect distance from the strings so the B and the E are producing the same output level, it's definitely worth it having it.

I hope the G-string isn’t too close to the edge of the neck. I had a 5-String Squier Jaguar Bass and that was one problem when I played it. I went to my local music stores and tried out some of Fender’s 5-string Jazz Basses and I went through the same problem with their G-Strings. I don’t know if that’s just me. I now have a Squier 5-string Precision Bass from the discontinued Standard Series, a rare Bass I got off of eBay and the G-string is actually ok, maybe because of the thicker neck. Other than that, she made a great demo.

American Jazz Bass bridges has three position saddles for every string so you can easily set it up to suit your preferences.

It's all good. I got a Contemporary Squier Jazz Bass V. It has HH pickups instead of the standard Jazz Bass pickups. The G-string is further away from the neck edge.

      Fender ultra jazz bass:
a very expensive no new bass. The Sire bass is cool, for low cost.
Fender is currently an expensive brand without news.

That's just not true. I've played both the elite and the ultra and the latter has a lot more power under the hood. Seriously, it felt like the bass was gonna explode (figuratively speaking). They did something different with this one.

I don't know if that's the case , but remember Nikki is primarily a 4 string player so her attack will sound different on a instrument that she really doesn't use primarily as she does with the 4 string.
