- Green gram 🌾🌱One of the most famous cereal around not only srilanka but also worldwide.In history sri lanka was known as 'The oriental granary'.It was a self sufficient county.we had everything what we needed inside the island itself.yams,cereals had taken a place even when rice consider as the main part of their day to day meals..so among those various types of cereal, 'Green grams' has been taken main part of sri lankan food culture since history untill now..specially in sinhala-hindu new year festival.Green gram is not only tasty but also nutritious.it contains protein,fiber,vitamins...etc..Normally we can farm green grams in smaller area for home use.it takes only two and half months to take the harvest.i farmed in May of 2020..i took the harvest in july of 2020.Its a humble pleasure when my self taking haarvest as im the cultivator.its wordless..as previously i request all of you to get closer to the nature.as a human being feel the nature untill you leave this short life.May triple gems bless you..🙏 Poorna ❤️

Growing my own food and connecting with nature has been my goal for the last few years. I enjoy feeling the earth in my hands, watching as the earth provides life to the seeds I put beneath the shallow layers of soil and harvesting the fruits of my labor. You truly get back what you put in; 10 fold. What a beautiful way of life. If only I could get my husband to eat more vegetarian meals, his health would be so much better.

God has given extreme natural beauty in this part of the world.
You will be surprised, if she is a Sinhala then she is closer to north Indians! The Sinhala language belongs to the north Indian family of languages. The Sinhala people are north Indians who probably moved to Sri Lanka more than 2500 years ago or earlier. And if she is a Tamil Sri Lankan then of course she is closer to Tamils of Tamilnadu.
@@historian2 Brother there are mixed in North but ancestor's of Sinhalese are Iyakkar VAMSAM Tamil people. North andEAST Tamil's are NAHAVAMSAM.
@16 th century forcefully TAMIL PEOPLE divided into religions and the language. They were used to live IN South and west OF Lanka !! 2500 year's ago SINHALA Language didn't EXCIST. @13 the century Palli ,Tamil and PRAKIRATHAM mixed language was BORN AS SINHALAM.
There is a history later on Malayalee , Telugu and bengal people mixed with original Tamil Sinhalese.
