The real horror of this story is the American Health Care system.
Oof.
What are you a bro-conservative? Our healthcare system currently is the Affordable Healthcare Act(Obamacare) and it is way better than what we used to have. Don’t insult something we fought decades to get.
Truth
@@mysteryjunkie9808 just cause it’s better than it used to be doesn’t mean we shouldn’t keep trying to improve it
@@mysteryjunkie9808 Our healthcare system is still pretty bad though. Trying to get covered under the Affordable Care Act is its own brand of difficult. Most jobs don't offer health insurance unless you're full time, so they keep everyone they possibly can part time, and then the health insurance they offer comes out of your pay check meaning that you still might not be able to afford it.
The Affordable Care Act was a good step forward but it's only part of the American Healthcare System, which is still a nightmare and a half. Saying that isn't insulting anything, it's acknowledging that there's still serious problems in the system.
Remember when they tried to make this a ‘is it real????’ kinda thing? Seems like the tone now is ‘fuck it you know they’re fake, we know they’re fake, all the submissions are fake, let’s get into it” and I’m here for it

I really like the subtle themes of critiquing Usa's health care system in such a creative/subtle way. 1) the guy's desperation linked to the fact he needs a job in order to get an inhaler for his pre-existing health condition 2) the pharmaceutical company not caring about the health of the populace-just making money off the sick . Exploiting the main character's illness for money. And literally letting the (ill) main character die (once he can't be profitable to them anymore) instead of giving him the cure they had.

Crazily enough, my dad had a persistent cough for around six months. Dry and choke-like, and after enough time he gave into my mom telling him to visit the doctor. Turns out he actually had contracted tuberculosis from a co-worker that had been doing international travel and it had been just sort of chilling in his lungs or whatever.

I guess he specified mostly for the people who wouldn’t know what that is
@@PoochieCollins yeah a disease can effect certain age groups worse, sure but it wouldn't just straight up die the second it touches a middle aged person. don't breath in the BACTERIA....lol JK hope you got the job
Best of luck!
@@xenophiliuslovegood6914 haha thanks everyone, i got the job but i decided not to take it. wasnt my vibe. they also sprayed a deadly virus in the building and incinerated fellow interviewees and i thought that was kind of sketch
That's gotta be the cutest laugh I've ever heard from a grown man, it literally gave me back a piece of my soul
“What are facts and reality?!wHUUHHHHH!”🤣
Hard to get scared with Shane and Ryan. The duo are hilarious.
Well Shane is always poking holes in the story or making fun of a part. Kills the immersion.
On his own Ryan would totally get into it.
My thoughts exactly. The earlier seasons of Unsolved and the first season of Are You Scared were much more immersive and suspenseful in my opinion. Now, they just crack jokes together every 10 seconds and kill any suspense the story might have.
ryan saying “tHe eLeCtIoN wAs rIgGeD” while making fun of a boomer is one of the best things i’ve ever heard
All elections are rigged. Do you really think the wealthy let us plebs have a say lol 🤣
@@godpilled9077 Ok boomer
@@AngryRockMan It's cute that you think your vote matters. Keep "voting" pleb.
@@godpilled9077 Rich people control the world while most humans live in poverty through no fault of their own. Lol. That's totally the perfect time for the crying laughing emoji, guys!11!!
@@Aster_Risk Yep, they control the world and the world's ballot boxes to ensure they stay wealthy and in power.
Apparently latent tizzle bizzle is a thing, I usually cough my lungs out in the morning for about 20 mins when waking up. My uncle had a coworker that went abroad and came back with the same thing, it's was latent TB. I've just never bothered to go to the doc about it tho.
That last line chilled me to my core.
Eric: "Last one. Fire up the furnace."
oh you already KNOW i’m terrified of job interviews
I have no reason to fear because I never get called back for an interview....the power of ✨rejection✨
Love their interactions between the story.
This series is continuing! now got something to look forward to , yay!
