Huge thanks for all your support and tight lines 👍🎣🐟
That small bream looked like a gilt head bream ??? Look at the small yellow band in the head
I believe it was a guilt head which is fantastic as I can tick it off my 2021 species list :)
yep, it's gilt head bream 100%
Nice session Jason, now I feel hungry watching you cooking that plaice cheers for the video,. 👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣
Nice video m8 next time you have a cook up with the place take half a brick and rap it in silver paper put it on top of the place when you start cooking it will stop the fish curling up 👍🇬🇧🐟
Thanks mate I will deffo try that :)
What a session great to see fish come out tight lines till the next one
Nice one mate well done
I was the mechanic for the brighton marina company, lived on a boat and had some amazing fishing there, Still got a free fishing for life ticket from dave at the tackle box, just need to use it more. cheers Jason mate
Hopefully catch you on there one day kris :) it's a fab venue to fish
Your 3rd bream looked very much like a gilthead bream. Nice session.
Deffo a gilthead.
Great session mate pity no mackerel but some nice plaice all the some
Throughly enjoyed that Jason.
Thanks Chris mate :)
Indonesian fshing 🇮🇩🇮🇩🙏
what a cracking session well done Jason
Thanks mate was a fun day :)
You're starting to smash it now Jason 👍 It was definitely a flounder and a gilt head bream, more for the species count 💪🎣
Thanks Kevin I really enjoyed this day fishing :)
Could almost taste that plaice super eating fish just add a little salt and lemon. Second time you filmed this venue and you have caught well each time, must become one of your favourite places.
I do really like this venue :) may have to try it at night also
Nice video cobber that plaice looked so yummy. Happy catching from AUSTRALIA Nick
I do love a plaice 🎣
3rd bream definitely a guilthead,
And I suggest removing fins and frying fish skin side down first. Avoid the "curling up"..
A great session though, well done 👏
Thanks for the advice and commenting i will deffo take on board for next time :) i do need to get back to Brighton marina was a fab days fishing :)
You should check out the minimum landing size for UK species because I don't think that spider crab was big enough to keep - bait or otherwise.
Other than that, great video and cracking variety of species 👍🏻
Thanks George I will do a bit of research and check the sizes :)
Thanks for watching mate 👍🐟🎣
Nice session that Jason, at 12:30 was that a guilthead bream 😱 tight lines mate 👍🎣
Thanks matey I believe it was :)
Hi there - do you remember where you got the rod fender / rod rests from - or even better - do you have a link? Many thanks
Hi mate if you search rod fender it's a company you can order direct from them :)
I was a little concerned with some of the sizes you guys were keeping, were you checking sizes
All fish were checked for size using sussex ifca guidelines on retention of fish. Many thanks for being conserned but I can assure you i for one do not keep any undersized fish 🍺
Hi Jason. I want to try this venue, but wondered where you can park the car? Any directions would help bud. Thanks. Bri
Hi mate the only place to park is in the car park itself and walk down.
We use a trolley to carry our gear there its a bit of a treak
Contact the tackle box shop there for more info :)
@@TheEastbourneFisherman Thanks Jason.
have you just picked up your food from the ground and put it on the pan
Yeah I know like totally grose right!
DONT WORRY I'M STILL HERE AND ALIVE!
I have now purchased a chopping board :)
Hi just a quick question, I’m planning to go to the east arm tomorrow. What time should I go and should I use lures or Baits I have 2 rods
I'm no expert I fish bait tbh
MACKEREL have been showing so take some feathers too
Have a good day :)
What's the sizes of the fish you are aloud to keep and the quantity please. I'm fishing up there on the 19th. Cheers.
Conger 91cm
Dab 20cm
Sole 24cm
Plaice 27cm
Flounder 25cm
Cod 35cm
Bass 42cm
Smoothound 51cm
Dogfish 38 cm
Pout 18cm
Whiting 27 cm
Ray 41cm (from tip of wing to tip of opposite wing)
Bass is limited to 2 fish per Angler over size atm
Hi mate, where did you get those rod rests from?
A company called rodfender
Use code EB at checkout for 10% off :)
Would lure be good to fish there instead of bait?
You can fish lures too
Dropping one down side of wall and bouncing back up would be ace
@@TheEastbourneFisherman thanks pal 👌
What time of day are you fishing at the Marina?
We usually fish it all day tbh
Tide in to high and back out is most likley to catch you a fish or 2 :)
Thank you. 😊
Dude, you put the fish straight onto the floor and then in the pan? No...
I know right 😲
Honestly cant believe im still alive and kicking!
In all fairness i have now invested in a chopping board for fish 👍
better at fishing than cooking.....
Wouldn't go that far 🤣
