Small rivers and streams like the one you're fishing I enjoy fishing for trout from the fall to the spring here in CT. Slashing suspending jerkbaits and slow rising stickbaits while casting upstream is my favorite method.
@@CrouseOutdoors even lake run browns too a buddy of mines father .way back in the day fishing for salmon caught one 20lbs at a river somewhere in Michigan
Nice fish. Good day. Thanks for sharing, glad you're back. I found these really cool spinners that I've been having good luck in central, northern Michigan.
Hey, I really dig your channel! Been watching since last year. I live in west Michigan north of GR if you ever want to meet up and try out some new streams or lakes!
Jealous of the average size in your area - there is a stream here close to me in Southeast Michigan that has both rainbows and browns, but the average size is very small, probably about 5-6 inches. A couple years back I caught a 17 incher - still probably the most beautiful fish I have ever caught, but since then, I haven't seen one over 8 inches. The fish I caught is the one that is on my channel banner!

Time to travel. This particular video I was almost 2 hours from my home
What state are you fishing?
Mitten
That was a HOG of a brown for Michigan. Tell me you measured it.... looked like 19-22"
No I didn't
great video was that streamer a sex dragon?
I have no idea
It looks like a sex dungeon. One of Kelly Gallops patterns. He is from Michigan but now lives in Montana.
