Also notice how Damiano isn't the usual frontman diva, he knows he has a lot of charisma and always use it to highlight his bandmates, or removes himself from the center of the stage to give them the space to bright they deserve.
This band is amazing and with such a healthy dynamic they will stay around for a long time.
For this performance, almost half Europe voted for them. Not the italians.
From Italy you cannot vote for italian contestant. Italians already voted them during Sanremo sending them to Eurovision

Wow. Missed eurovision last year, I did not realise they put on such a great performance, Damiano (if I've got the lead singers name live) is very charismatic - a proper rock star, the talent to back up the arrogance, and the energy to back up the hype. This is very impressive...
and off the stage there's no arrogance at all, they're very humble and friendly with everyone, very "next door guys"...

После концерта в Лас Вегасе (перед Rolling Stones) были разные комментарии .Кроме критики со стороны итальянцев, что, увы, обычно видела англоязычный комментарий, от зрелого меломана, который удивился, зачем они пели на итальянском -"это же не опера ! " Далее было дискуссия между ним и фанатов, вежливая, конечно, но непонимание есть . И каверы,и английский у группы
абсолютно хороши и гармоничны, но ... итальянский!? Неужели кому-то недоступны эмоции, настроение, поэтичность
этого языка ?Есть ли что-то

или бедной Carolina, которую

The “Sanremo “ festival version live is much better with the orchestra, even in “Sanremo” they sing live “amandoti”. You can check as well radio Italia live they are amazing

Thank you for your reaction to Maneskin. Some more information to the Band and thier discograpy.
Maneskin was formed by Victoria de Angelis (bass, 15 years) and Thomas Raggi (Guitar, 14 years) 2015/16 in
Rome, Italy. They want to take music serious, with the mood: "even if you are ill, you have to attend to our
practice hours". Daminao (vocals, 16) joined soon. Then they searched a dummer and found Ethan Torchio (15) in a
facebook
group for musicians around rome. They start practicing together and
begin writing songs. (you find lots of thier practicing videos)
After forming and writing some songs, they play covers at the main pedestian zone of Rome, to ear money for their first records in a studio. In 2016 they won a battle of the bands for roman pupil bands. To join the competition they need a name, and asked Victoria to shout out some nice danish words. (Victoria has a danish mother) They choose Maneskin with the ° above the a meaning Moonlight. After that, they audited to X-factor Italy show 2017 with thier first original song "Choosen" (Watch thier video). They finished only 2nd but the reaction of the audience was fantastic. This earns them a recording contract from Sony Music Italy. With this contract they published thier first CD "Choosen" with 2 original songs and all the covers from the X-Factor show.
One of these covers was the now charting "Beggin". "Beggin" was original perfomed in the 1960ies by the "Four Seasons". In 2007 it was picked up by the singer/rapper Duo Madcon, which added the rap verses. This version was covered by Maneskin. You find an actual perfomance at the "Tonight Show (Jimmy Fallon)" UA-cam channel.
Than,
in 2018 they published thier 2nd disk "Il Ballo Della Vita", which
aimed at the italian music marked. The CD shoot through the roof, with 5
songs entering top 10 in italian charts. The overall characteristics
are italian language Rock/Pop and more ballades, but some nice english
rock songs, like "New Song". The Videos they made are great. Hear the
"Torna a Casa" but have a translation of the lyrics at hand, because in
italian, thier lyrics are much better than in english.
The
success of that CD gives them the influence to go more into the rock
direction, this you hear on thier actual CD "Theatro d´Ira".
A
"must" from this CD is the sad ballad "Coraline". "In nome del padre"
and "Lividi sui Gomili" are the most metal orientated tracks. You found
impressive singing in "La paura del buio". A straight in you face
english rock song is "For your Love". And don´t forget "Vent´anni" (20
years old).
With "Zitti e Buoni" from this disk, Maneskin won the
single most important Italian song contest (The San Remo Festival) in
march 2021. This earns them the Italian ticket to the Eurovision Song
Contest, the largest music TV show on Earth. They won it. After they
won, "Zitti e Buoni" and the follow up song "I wanna be your slave"
charted worldwide. To a surprise, the Cover "Beggin" went viral on
Tiktok and jumps to No. 1 in charts worldwide.

Keep an eye in the management of the space in the stage, there is never a empty space, only when they get together for special parts. They are like a little clock so well done.

What you saying about the competition going 'oh shit, we've lost' well the poor sod on directly before them got no televote points and Flo Rida guesting for Italy's neighbours on after them closing the show got thirteen - everything including the kitchen sink on that stage - 13 points say the public, some people were even saying Damiano's flow was better. From Flo's POV he was upstaged by some punk kids.....priceless 😎
According to Eurovision rules own country could not vote, so other countries voted them for winners. While they were singing in Italian. I have watched 1000 times 🤣.
Watch every Eurovision every year, it's actually not super common to win with a rock song, but occasionally something like this comes along and Europe is blown away. I think I actually screamed because I loved it so much. Memories...🇸🇪😅😎❤
Actually, French and Swiss singers were kind of sure they had already won. Just check the video of the popular vote count and proclamation of the winner. Honestly, their songs were among the good ones. I still think that Ucraina was better, not to speak of Måneskin...

Man, search on YT the "Winner performance" after they won. That version has the uncensored lyrics and Damiano is wilder. The other participants to the ESC are crazy and singing/dancing in the green room with them.

It is the first time it was performed live, at Sanremo (the most important yearly Italian) song contest.

Winning Sanremo contest, they gained the right to participate at the Eurovision, so the whole world owe something to this performance!

This is a live performance of one of their Italian ballads, the video has English lyrics too. It's from las April, right before the European Song Contest. They are a bit subdued, but their look is what it used to be before going "global". Less colourful, less androgynous and all that related stuff. Honestly me and other Italian fans preferred them like that, before they became LGBT and Gucci testimonials. This was not my winner of that night. It wasn't even in my top ten. So I have to disagree with you. But I'm happy as this brings different viewers to Eurovision. It's good to have different artists on the Eurovision stage.

I feel more and more the need for Damiano to leave the band !! When they don't value your work and effort, the best decision is to leave. and I have not seen fans more ungrateful than those of maneskin with Damiano.
