Like literally slayed it. I speak no Italian. I have been listening to this band on a loop since they won Eurovision. Every song is sonically and technically flawless and different and just staggering! And they also sing in English.
You have to think about that they are only 20 years old and the frontman is born to be a Rockstar. Their last album Teatro d’Ira vol. 1 is incredible. Their influences are artic monkeys, Mötley crüe, rage against the machine, red hot chili peppers. They are incredible and you should react to their entire album, trust me. The next reaction could be I wanna be your slave. He can also sing in English very well.
I'll be forever grateful for the music the UK gave, and still gives, to the world but they don't put any real effort into Eurovision and it shows. Pity for the artists, it looks like they are sent out there without any real support :( With that said, Italy this year buried them all🤣
This is what I read about the song :"As highlighted by critics, the lyrics represent a criticism aimed at the generations of adults who do not understand and do not value young adults, who are invited by the quartet not to lower their heads and to be the truest version of themselves." Damiano(singer ) is now 22 years old he wrote this song 5 years ago . They won not only ESC with this song but also Eurostory Best Lyric Award 2021
Regarding your question about UK and Eurovision. I am German, and we usually get last or second last to the UK. It has nothing to do with sympathy - everyone likes British Music, they sell most records worldwide (believe it or not...). It has nothing to do with Brexit (always an excuse...blame the others). The years where we in Germany put in an effort (e.g. 10 years ago), Lena won the Eurovision with 'satellite' (I thought deservedly). The UK has the best artists in the world, but none of them would like to come on the show (if they are already famous), and if they are unknown, there is no selection process to identify good songs and artists. It is a song contest after all...This year is a good example - very likeable artist, but cannot sing, and the song was hopeless (cheesy pop). Italy makes a huge effort every year for the past decade, and their selection process is very rigid - therefore you come to Eurovision with the best of the best. And hell yes, Maneskin is the best of the best. They are the future. They appeal to young and old (myself).
Even if people always mock Sanremo...professionals work for months (they started now for 2022 edition) for selection, staging, training and hosts. It has HUGE coverage, even if you don't like it, you will now what happens. You can like it or not, but whataver we send it is already selected and even if not fully appreciated, it is good stuff (exceptions for Michielin and Emma Marrone, they didn't win, but winners refused to partecipate in ESC). Sanremo is needed to market new albums for known artists and we hope in ESC to make them be known in Europe, that's all. Not sending a studied act FOR ESC purpose or to make fool of ourselves.

I totally agree. And the fact that the UK doesn't give a fig in the first place doesn't help. I mean, I've never followed Eurovision before, but with all due respect to James Newman, for a country that's homeland to rock and indie and punk and whatever else you got please add it, that's not really trying. Italy traditionally sends the winner of the most important Italian music festival; not that Italy is all about Eurovision; the Sanremo festival is even older than Eurovision itself. But at least when we send someone they're sort of "certified" best voted of the year.
If England participates in the Eurovision with commitment, it would win every year. Nobody hates England. Even considering only "The Verve", England would have won 5-6 editions of the Eurovision. That being said, the Maneskins are very, very, very (and I could go on for a long time) good.
Speak for yourself. As long as UK (and america) can't help but control the distribution and promotion of music on a global level creating an apartheid for all the other music markets, keeping all other markets small and irrelevants well I will have no respect. The day they will accept to fight on equal terms with the other music heritages avoiding to use protectionism as a lethal weapon then I may start to change idea. Uk music is important only because they have the money to pay for radioplay around the world, denying that same space to other international songs from other countries. Even when you listen to artists like BTS or Maluma you should be informed that they have the anglo/american industry behind them and that they are earning out of these "international productions". The same is happening with Maneskin. They will soon have a british or american manager because if you want to be distributed internationally these days you have to pay the bribe to this mafia. Mahmood decided not to change his manager and after the big success of "Soldi" his songs (that were far more beautiful than Soldi) were hardly promoted abroad.
@@donatellaborciccibelloni5328 your reasoning is partly right...English whether You like or not is the lingua franca or bridge language, because of historical factors, that connects cultures and nations...on the other hand you're wrong, some English speaking artists have made history in music only because of their talent and capabilities...Mark Knopler's guitar would have been loved and noticed around the world even If he had spoken arab
@@Mick.y. in the 80es italy produced new singers like Zucchero and Eros Ramazzotti that charted in over 25 countries. Italo Disco in those days made the difference around the world. If you are so ignorant not to know it then it is your problem. In the 80es italy had a very rich number of great artists, national and international.
@@donatellaborciccibelloni5328 If you have ham on your eyes (and in the ears) it's not my problem. Eros Ramazzotti and Zucchero, let's get Vasco Rossi too, are good but they are not comparable to Dire Straits, just to say one band out of 100 they had.
Don't think we hate the UK but u gotta consider that we pay money to vote. just like 50 cents but still. So would you genuinely say when you watch all the performances, the UK one is the one that really sticks out❓I don't think so. I think the UK sends nice songs but they're more suited to be played on the radio , Eurovision we want good music AND entertainment AND a memorable performance.
I have seen many UA-cam commentators from all over the world move their heads up and down to the rhythm of bass, drums and electric guitar... It seems incredible, but this is a band of very young boys from Rome who started their careers as simple buskers when they were only 16-17 years old ... The Maneskin deserve to travel the world to do live concerts !
Nice reaction, but please stop with the hate/paranoia card... nobody hates the UK.... James Newman's song and stage performance were at a much lower level than most of the other entries... it's as simple as that ... and the sooner this is understood and accepted as hard as it can be, the sooner the UK will be able to send songs and arrange stage performances worthy of its reputation music wise....
I agree (I live in the UK). The contribution UK gave to the history of Rock is immense, far more than the USA that we should credit for the rock and roll invention. Still, I don't understand why UK sends less known singers to the ESC, gosh the audience is massive, nearly 200 million viewers, this contest deserves quality.
@@robynho1158 that's exactly what I have been asking myself since I saw UK's entry at the Grand Final: how on Earth can a country which is the cradle of the modern music scene send such an underwhelming entry to the biggest music contest in the world? Blindness? Ignorance? Superficiality? Musical snobbery? Carelessness? Whatever the reason, this is the only cause for the UK getting 0 points ....
@@lumaxx2001 The biggest issue is that our talent doesn't want to do it. Regardless of how it came to be, we have reputation these days for underperforming, and no big British stars want to turn up at Eurovision and get nil point. And as big as Eurovision is, unfortunately, it doesn't offer our stars as much as it does for a lot of other European performers. Our biggest stars tend to measure their success by when they 'crack' foreign markets, so our famous groups and whatnot don't get the same benefit out of Eurovision. The result is that we send people looking to build a career, instead of people who already have one. It's sad, because we really do have so much great music to offer.
@@miracletortoise6224 I understand what you mean and perhaps the stars in the UK are not even to be blamed if the first who don't believe in this opportunity are the people who normally organise UK's participation to the festival (BBC or whoever else...). I hope Maneskin can be an example of what can happen if this opportunity is taken seriously... they were already known in Italy, but the win at the Eurovision has skyrocketed them to world wide fame in just 2 weeks. Perhaps, the big stars are already at this level, but talented artists who are at the first stage in their career might be able to better appreciate the opportunity.....
@@lumaxx2001 Absolutely. It's just not taken seriously in our music industry, I think. It's not really seen as an honour to be chosen, the public isn't involved in the selection process, and so it's generally something of an afterthought. It's how we end up with someone like James Newman, who is a legitimately good song writer. A song writer. Not a performer. And he was basically just invited to take a punt. It's pretty standard for us to not know anything about our entry until it's explained to us *during* Eurovision.
I love how you were leaning back before the song and once they started you were like: wait a minute, interesting! Please react to Morirò da Re, Chosen (their first song), I Wanna Be Your Slave and for their other side Coraline (english subs are a must) and Torna a casa.
No one hate England, in fact other country gets none points or very few. In my opinion the song wasn't good like many others, but I feel really sorry for the guy I hope he will get more motivated for the future... 🤞
One British UA-camr but it best: the UK sends what they think Europe likes, not what they actually like. People don't hate the UK, the songs that are sent are nothing special. If you want to win at a competition where a lot of others put a lot of effort in to win and stand out, a mediocre song will just not do. And song after song from the UK has just been that. If one looks at the TOP10 for the past 6 years for example, then there are songs that stand out one way or the other. Often they are because of the show more than the song, but Eurovision is a complete package: good vocals, good song and good show. One of them can stand out more, but the other has to support it in some ways. Even a non serious song can make it to the top, if it is executed well (Ukraine 2007 anyone?). And a bad show can steal the win. Take Italy 2017 for example. They were favorites to win, but landed 6th. The staging was just plain awful. So the UK has to put more effort into thinking what song they like that others would like as well.
Bu şarkıyı dinlerken içimdeki maymun ortaya çıkıyor... 😂😂😂oradan oraya atlayıp zıplayarak dans etmek istiyorum 😂😂😂 I love Maneskin 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 kalbim onlar için çarpıyor 💗💗💗💗💗💗

@@Mick.y. in the 80es italy produced new singers like Zucchero and Eros Ramazzotti that charted in over 25 countries.
I think you have to watch one of their firsts exhibition in x factor : "kiss this"
I have seen many UA-cam commentators from all over the world move their heads up and down to the rhythm of bass, drums and electric guitar... It seems incredible, but this is a band of very young boys from Rome who started their careers as simple buskers when they were only 16-17 years old ...
The Maneskin deserve to travel the world to do live concerts !
What a great smile you got!!! (to keep it polite ...there could be kids around!) BTW it's "zeetee a b-oo-O-N-ee! ahahhah (-:
Good to know!
Welcome to Italy 🇮🇹🔥♥️
I'm from Italy and i can honestly say that we all love the UK....-♡
FORMIDANILI. THE BEST
🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 ITALIA❤️
Good morning, listen also For your love and I Wanna be your slave, two wonderful songs in english by Maneskin
Italy rolls 🎸🇮🇹🥇
try with coraline , it starts like a soft one and then goes high
The best in ESC was Maneskin and Go_a
so true... to me, damiano was the king but kate was the queen of the esc 2021
Grandi !!!!!!!!!!
Yeah! Thank you for reacting to Maneskin they are amazing! I love your Bts and maneskin reactions 🥰🤩
I love how you were leaning back before the song and once they started you were like: wait a minute, interesting! Please react to Morirò da Re, Chosen (their first song), I Wanna Be Your Slave and for their other side Coraline (english subs are a must) and Torna a casa.
fantastic, simply fantastic !!!!!
Loved this video! 😁👍🏻
No one hate England, in fact other country gets none points or very few. In my opinion the song wasn't good like many others, but I feel really sorry for the guy I hope he will get more motivated for the future... 🤞
Glad you loved our guys.
Cheers from Sardinia, Italy. 😏
This IS Show !! 🇮🇹🤘❤️
No people dont hate england, i love England, you have the best bands on the world mate, hugs from your neighbour belgium
rock never dies
When UK will start performing like Maneskin I promise I will vote ;)
I think Maneskin showed true rock! Long live rock & rolll!!! (greetings from poland)
Thank god SOMEONE is reacting to music from Europe! Especially this one from Eurovision. Thank you mate xxxxx
I think I read somewhere that somebody who organized their stage had previously worked with Pink Floyd, but I might be wrong
Bu şarkıyı dinlerken içimdeki maymun ortaya çıkıyor... 😂😂😂oradan oraya atlayıp zıplayarak dans etmek istiyorum 😂😂😂 I love Maneskin 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 kalbim onlar için çarpıyor 💗💗💗💗💗💗
Loved this video! You look like the long lost cousin of 2020's Russian's entry's male singer.
ABSOLUTELY "NOME DEL PADRE" BY MANESKIN!,,,,,,!,,,,,,,!,,,,!,,!!!!
Maneskin deserve all the praise and attention and hope to see them live one day in Canada too 👏🏻💜

The Sanremo version with the live orchestra is better
I much prefer the official video.
Shut up and behave! The singer Damiano is 22, others 20...
i disagree
Listen to "La paura del buio", the ending will give you goosebumps
On the stage of the final of X Factor 2021, 2 days ago, Måneskin brought home their overwhelming energy with which they opened the evening with their world super hit 'Beggin', and then returned afterwards for a medley of their others hits' I wanna be your slave ',' Zitti e buoni 'and' Mammamia 'during which a wild Damiano first reached the judges' table, then launched himself on the public for a long stage diving 👍 watch the video Is Amazing, you don't regret it 😁👍
"la paura del buio" live also with traduction
"Coraline"
