Learning later in the interview that your own dad had pretty much rolled over and indeed did throw you under the bus .... Another stark example of the evil in the life. Hearing this, it instantly came to mind that, being that close to your demise, which it sounds like you certainly were, that even in such circumstances, Almighty God has the power and authority to, and did, intercede ..... It's a sick way of living tbh and I'm not surprised bcoz they know it the day they join, "This thing of ours is bigger and more important than anything else in your life even your family, if we order you to kill your brother you have to do it" well they swear to uphold that and that's how that goes

He didn’t understand how powerful his father was at this time. They weren’t gonna kill Sonny’s kid but they were gonna teach him a lesson that’s all and his father was obviously in on it the whole time no matter what they said…

i am pretty sure michael knows exactly how powerful his father is, and i don't agree with your argument Michael has talked about how his father put a hit out on him in the past so this wouldn't have been any different. there is no way that Sonny stopped michael from being killed

      Had the same thing myself.
I'm an only child and was mercilessly bullied by a family of 7 boys.
I was beaten black and blue daily and hospitalised twice.
My dad never lifted a finger to stop it.
It made me incredibly hard and incredibly violent as a teen and I still am.
I ended up terrifying people I was borderline phychotic.
Men need to step up and protect their children or not have them.

Understand that but there are only so many stories to tell. The interesting thing(ironically) is, the day to day life of a mob guy probably isn't terribly interesting. It's just that they operate within their own code outside the law and occasionally that leads to a good story.

@DailyWirePlus, @DrJordanPeterson - When, in the middle of an interview you SLAP in a friggin' advertisement for buying gold - Don't you think you're actually hurting Dr. Peterson's image?
I've been following him for a LONG time ... and if you want to talk about branding ... The moment I saw that inexplicable, poorly "placed" ad, it was like a punch in the gut ...
I will politely ask you to "frame" such advertisements with more consideration, otherwise you will end up poisoning all of the value Dr. Peterson holds ...
Let's look at Brett Cooper. One thing I like about her is that she takes the transition from the news item, or the discussion into the add, very seriously.
She has spoken about how important that transition is for her. If she can do it, so can you. Please don't spit on Professor Peterson's reputation.
    Thanks

I have resisted becoming any kind of organized club member. And that also includes religion. I don't care for labels. I have plenty of friends so I'm not a loner. I guess you could say I don't play well with others. I am a very spiritual man some people even call me a shaman. And I think that Jordan Peterson is one of the wisest mem I have ever seen or heard.

One might think that his father actually helped him by not taking his side, but I think he ONLY did what he was sworn to do... after all this time hearing the story, I believe that that meeting was only a "serious" investigation meeting which could've lead to him getting wacked either there or most possibly somewhere else, but you have to think that they intentionally made it look more serious than it was only to scare Mike to confess, like a "last warning" possibly curtesy of him and his father being capos.
Anyway his father as Mike said just did what an old school Italian born cosa nostra member would've done... take his honor and leave the meeting and let his son deal with it like a real man.
It's a sick way of living tbh and I'm not surprised bcoz they know it the day they join, "This thing of ours is bigger and more important than anything else in your life even your family, if we order you to kill your brother you have to do it" well they swear to uphold that and that's how that goes, that's not a joke and they are many ppl from politicians to mafia that ended up being perfectly fine with their kids getting wacked, It's the life that they choose remember that!
